Do not recommend Walmart auto center . I bought one tire on Walmart.com to replace a spare tire on…read moremy truck. I am a Walmart + member and get the upgraded installation with road hazard free. I took only the spare tire in to get the new one installed. Once I arrived the place was very busy. The person who helped me was nice and polite, but had trouble checking me in. They said it would take 30 minutes as I had an appointment. It ended up taking an hour and they said they couldn't put the road hazard protection on the tire because the truck was not there. I offered to give them the mileage, VIN, etc for the truck but they said it had to be there. So I went home and got my truck. I brought it back and they still had difficulty getting the road hazard on there. I don't know what happened in the end. I got a work order (full size paper) that had no mention of road hazard on it. I got a receipt which showed the road hazard added, but then removed. When questioned they said they had to do it that way so it didn't charge me as a Walmart + member. I brought up to them that a year from now if I needed the road hazard it would look as if I didn't get it because it was voided off the receipt. They assured me that it was on there. Overall it took me probably an hour just to check out and by this time I was done and there didn't seem to be anyone else to talk to as I was already talking to the manager of the auto center. I will say everyone was nice, the product, and the work were satisfactory. However, the check in, road hazard, and check out were terrible. I would NEVER return to the Walmart tire center. I'll go to Discount Tire which is farther from my house, but has a smooth process.

Okay. Legitimately just left this advanced auto parts and had to immediately write a review because…read morethe service was so outstanding. I needed a new battery, but it was a little more complicated because there was corrosion fusing the negative cable to the battery essentially. The dealership quoted me nearly 600 dollars saying I needed a new battery as well as a new negative battery cable. I went in and was just asking what parts I needed based on my car make and model, but my new favorite person, James, wanted to come out and take a look at it. He came out, assessed everything, and then showed me how the cable did NOT need to be replaced. He proceeded to work on this battery (mainly separating the negative cable from the battery) until he was able to get it off and put the new battery in. He cleaned the cable and corrosion up, was a joy to be around, and genuinely wanted to help. I know advanced auto offers free battery installation, but this was above and beyond. He spent probably an hour working on this for me, when it would have been easier for him to just send me somewhere else. If anyone who is reading this is in charge of employee salaries; GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! Seriously pleasant experience. Such a huge help and weight lifted. So thankful for great customer service from people like James. THANK YOU!!
