My battery was dead, but anyone I called said I had to take my car to their shop, which meant either a boost or a tow, only to again pay for a new battery. That's when I searched mobile mechanic and find these guys. Just from the initial phone conversation with Kolton I could tell I made a good choice. Jason came out the next day with a van full of things to help. He fixed the battery, took a look at my breaks, and gave my tires some air. They lack competence, respect & empathy…read more In April of 2023, I reached out to GoWrenchAuto to have my off rim tires swapped. I had recently purchased new tires online. Unfortunately, during the service, all four rims were damaged, with scoring on the outer perimeter and claw marks on at least two of the rims. As soon as I noticed the damage, I contacted GoWrenchAuto and provided them with photos as evidence. However, the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), Kolton, took his time and only responded after I left a Google review detailing my experience. He suggested I remove my 1 star Google review until the issue could be fixed. The CBDO acknowledged the damage caused by the tire swap and assured me that the rims would be repaired when I removed the tires again. He suggested that I contact him outside of Tire Season, as it would be easier to get the service completed. In February of 2024, I contacted the CBDO to arrange for the pickup of the rims for refinishing. They were picked up promptly, but I did not receive any updates for a month until I inquired once again. At this point, I realized that dealing with the CBDO was futile, so I requested Joshua Lobardo-Bottema to take over. However, he was unwilling and directed me back to the CBDO, citing personal issues that only the CBDO could handle. On April 18th at 10:50 AM, a set of Mazda Rims was delivered to my home as promised by the CBDO. However, they were removed just five minutes later as they did not belong to me. I received a call from the CBDO explaining that they had mistakenly delivered the incorrect tires/rims. He claimed that he had only just realized that my rims had been sitting in some corner due to the specific bags I had stored my tires in. Since February, my rims had not been touched. The CBDO had promised to personally deliver the rims, but that never happened. Finally, on April 30, the rims were delivered, but they were only washed and not refinished. Furthermore, the GoWrenchAuto agent once again piled the tires in a corner, disregarding the useless instructions of the CBDO. The CBDO offered to pick up the rims and attempt to service them for the first time, but I declined. I had no choice but to put the rims back on my car, as I was not willing to let GoWrenchAuto service them for a third time.

It turns out the auto company who made my car no longer makes the part needed. I paid them the fee I had agreed to up front even though they told me it would be rebated against the actual repair. The service person recommended I go to a national muffler franchise, that they could make the specific parts, and my car would be fixed at a reasonable cost. So i went to muffler franchise they recommended. I got a quote for a whole new exhaust from the engine to the tailpipe. I poliitely thanked them for the quote and left. Well, I thought that my existing car was not worth fixing. But before I gave up on driving my car again I thought I would check with one more muffler expert, Speedy Auto on Fisherman Drive in Brampton. The staff were friendly and offered to put the car up on the hoist and give me a quote. I was pleased with quote and the repair was completed within the hour. The work was done quickly and without hassle. I find as a woman, that dealing with anything automotive can sometimes be challenging. Since I do not know much about cars, it is easy to take advantage. However, this was not the case at Superior at all. Superior Tire and Auto listened to exactly what I thought needed to be done and then stayed aligned with what I had set out as my budget. I had a follow up question the day after having my tires fixed and they were very helpful and told me to bring the car right in. I feel very comfortable using this repair shop and will recommend Superior Tire and Auto in the future.

Jason, Sam and John have been attentative, responsive and reasonable throughout all my interactions with them. Most recently I've been dealing with some troublesome and complex dashboard light issues related to the brakes and CEL. Spent over a month of frustration addressing the reoccurring issues non-stop. They found the ultimate/worst case issue pretty early on but agreed that we should try and find work arounds to fix the problem before I drop over $1000 on replacing the rear axle and wheel sensor. In the end, we exhausted our options and I had to get the rear axle and wheel sensor replaced. After driving around with it all weekend, all issues seem to be resolved and the car seems to be reacting a lot more stable. I appreciate the fact that McDermott Motors were able to accommodate a lot of the reoccurring accumulating fees as a result of dealing with this expensive, frustrating and troublesome issue for the past month. Moral of the story, unless you love to spend money, perhaps consider a non-BMW for your next car.

Zoro Muffler Mississauga (stanfield) Went from good to bad over the years…read more I've taken various cars (4 or 5) I've owned throughout the years to this Zoro Muffler for exhaust related repairs, dating back to the mid 2000's, after being referred to them by my brother who also brought his cars there since the early 2000s. I kept going back because I used to live in that area, the service was fast, reliable and either decent priced or amazingly priced. Even around 2019, they only charged me around $80 for a repair; that was an outlier price/repair, but it solidified in my mind to think of them for any/all exhaust work in the future. All other visits in my past were much higher priced but understandably so, given the repairs needed. However, the past 2 times I've been there in 2025 and 2026 with the same car (different exhaust issues) was different. In 2025 it was over priced; I accepted it because I still trusted them and I had driven 100+ km (I had moved out of the city) to bring my car there to make sure it was done right, which it was (so far - its only May 2026 now), but it was expensive. 2026: They said I needed a new front pipe (exhaust leak in the engine bay) and that it would cost ~$1300 with parts, labor, taxes (yet would be done within the hour...). Had him show me where it was leaking and then vehicle model came into question, as he said the pipe looks different than the one needed in the quote, (so how did he know it would be $1300?) so after vehicle model trim confirmed, he requoted ~$750 after PARTS (pipe), labor and taxes, and will be done in an hour. I asked what the difference was from the $1300 quote and he said he quoted $1500 (?? I had already messaged someone about the $1300 price immediately after being quoted.) and its due to a different part. It seems like they can just make up any price they want. You can't see their computer screen behind/under the desk you stand in front of, and you don't get any breakdown/work order until you get the invoice. I said ok to the new $750 quote, they "fixed it" and I paid and left; no exhaust leak anymore. 3 weeks later I swap my wheels from winter to summer tires and look under the car & hood, same old rusted pipe we stared at under their hoist - all they did was put a new nut and a few washers on one of the the front pipe bolts and then flux core welded part of the flange to the same rusted flange - FLEECED! I could've done this myself if it weren't for the cold weather. Service is neutral - they're not mean, not rude. But it feels like they are riding on their past reputation and fleecing people now, especially after hearing all the prices of other customers while in the waiting room. The difference in actual cost/price vs what I was ripped off is not worth my time calling, debating and bringing my car back 100km (200km total) and explaining it to them again, for them to potentially sabotage something or charge me more. I can go somewhere closer to home and potentially get better pricing or risk of getting ripped off just the same. Never going back there again. They have endless suckers in Mississauga to famoose so they won't miss my business at all. If money is just a rounding error for you and you simply NEED your exhaust fixed fast, by all means, bend over there because they can fix you up real fast, but know that there is no Mr Lube next door.

This has got to be THE most HONEST MECHANIC I have ever been to. The people who work there are super friendly too, they never make you feel stupid and as a woman with a truck I'm weary people will take advantage of me or talk down to me, but that never happens here. The customer service is amazing and the people make you feel like family. My experiences here have been as follows: - First time I came here was because I felt like my alignment was off the night before a trip to Montreal - I needed to get the alignment and hopefully an oil change done first thing on a Friday morning cuz I had to be on the road to Mtl. by noon. I used to go to Canadian Tire but they were unable to accommodate me for a morning appointment the next day because they said it takes several hours to do an alignment. Feeling more desperate, I called Midas as a last resort because I (wrongly) ass-u-med they'd be kinda expensive - but it turns out their cost for an alignment was actually CHEAPER than Canadian Tire and they were able to see me first thing the next morning! On top of that, their website has coupons for $ off any work and oil change deals so #protip: make sure to check out the Midas website and grab your coupons before you go. I dropped the truck off at 9am and by 10am I got a phone call from them - "Truck is ready to be picked up, your alignment was fine, we have a printout of the specs to show you, so we didn't need to do the work after all, we did do the oil change, come on down and get your truck!" My jaw literally dropped to the floor. A MECHANIC TELLING ME THE WORK WASN'T NECESSARY, not charging me a dime, in the heart of downtown Toronto? THIS IS UNHEARD OF. Needless to say, I made it on the road in time, confident with my alignment, with the extra $ I had set aside to spend on the alignment still in my pocket to splurge on my trip! Not only that, they did an ENTIRE vehicle inspection checkup/spec/printout sheet to show me free of charge when I went to pick up my truck. Midas won me over as a customer right then and there. Canadian Tire who? lol -Second time I came here was cuz my muffler was making a rattling noise on acceleration. I got my brother to help me isolate the noise before calling the garage so we knew that it was coming from the exhaust system. I was reluctant to bring my truck in anywhere cuz I was afraid of how much even just a diagnostic/estimate would cost me. It turns out Midas at Bloor/Bathurst does the inspection and estimates for free!!! Brought my vehicle in before work, and by 11am they were on the phone with me to let me know the "damage" - turns out it was just a loose clip. They replaced it for FREE. They told me that the vehicle was fixed and ready to be picked up, and everything looks great and I owe them NOTHING. I was sitting here prepared to spend in the ballpark of $1000 for repairs and it turns out I owe $0.00. If I could have hugged the guy through the phone I would have. Just also note it seems like I'm bringing my vehicle for all these unnecessary repairs - no. I am not a rich woman so when I bring my truck to the garage it's cuz I'm trying to avoid MORE costly repairs in the future (i.e. having to buy new tires for driving w/ the alignment off for too long, and not just ignoring a noisy exhaust/muffler issue). I'm not some nitpicky person when it comes to my truck - it's got lots of untreated cosmetic damage from when my mom backed into me (lol) and a crack along the bottom windshield from a pebble hitting the windshield during a bad storm - but I do like to address preventable driveability issues before they get worse. This mechanic is so honest it's actually ridiculous and they are so friendly and nice I feel like finding them was akin to having a horseshoe up my A$$. PRICES ARE ENTIRELY REASONABLE - cheaper than Canadian Tire and service is way more personalized - Please go to this garage, they are amazing!!!!
