Last time I came in 6 months prior my teeth were fine. Rather then getting my cleaning I was given a $1300 2 treatment estimate. Now for Periodontal its not just this expensive 2 session treatment but it changes your dental health for the rest of your life and you have to get 4 cleanings a year forever after. I went to my old family dentist in the suburbs and within about 2 minutes they could tell my teeth were healthy and I do not have any issues. This was then confirmed after a full inspection, new xrays ect. Speaking on X rays they said they had a very hard time getting them from Floss and Co and they were not responsive. I later got a text urging me to set up my appointment as it is URGENT! Despite having conversations at the time that I could not afford the treatment. Thank goodness I got a second opinion. BEWARE go somewhere else.

The front desk ladies were professional and very pleasant. The dental assistant was good too. I was presented with a treatment plan that cost about $4330 for 2 bottom wisdom teeth. These teeth were not impacted. I asked the office about codes and why the bill was so high. I asked about laughing gas instead of anesthesia. The anesthesia cost was about $1200 and the laughing gas would be about $950 because my insurance didnt cover it. I asked a family member about the PRF treatment that was costing me over $1300. That a blood treatment at the extraction site that is supposed to shorten your healing time. But is not guaranteed. Well i told the dental office, i was not comfortable with that and i would just like to have my wisdom teeth removed. I was told that I HAVE TO DO WHAT THE DENTIST SAYS DO OR I CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I HAVE A RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY FKN MEDICAL TREATMENT. The dentist can suggest treatment but can not force me to do anything. They are supposed to get informed consent or something like that. I am cancelling my appt and taking my mouth to a new dentist thats only charging $900 upfront and will return whatever the insurance doesnt cover.

I really appreciated the fact that when we first went to Dr. Hare, he advised us to wait on putting braces on my daughter's teeth; he took the time to explain the thinking behind this advice. I was deeply impressed that he did not rush the process. He allows the parent to be in the room for the every appointment. His staff is professional, caring, and make you feel comfortable and welcome. We were always taken at our scheduled time and it always went smoothly. Getting braces is about a two-year commitment with monthly visits. When it was time to get the braces off, I felt a little sad that we wouldn't be seeing Dr. Hare and his wonderful assistants each month.
