The owner is..... for the lack of better words: off his rocker. Harassing people in the neighborhood where he runs his business only to treat the neighborhood like his personal parking lot. Neighbors have talked to him to resolve this but he said the parking is reserved for his costumers so his employees flood the residential street and these folks do not know how to park properly (leaving huge gaps so no one can park in front of them or behind them) I wouldn't be sad to see this place move out of the neighborhood unless they start having their employees park on the Main Street or their own parking lot. Beware... They over diagnosed me with periodontal disease. I came in for a cleaning and was told very quickly I had periodontal disease. Last time I came in 6 months prior my teeth were fine. Rather then getting my cleaning I was given a $1300 2 treatment estimate. Now for Periodontal its not just this expensive 2 session treatment but it changes your dental health for the rest of your life and you have to get 4 cleanings a year forever after. I went to my old family dentist in the suburbs and within about 2 minutes they could tell my teeth were healthy and I do not have any issues. This was then confirmed after a full inspection, new xrays ect. Speaking on X rays they said they had a very hard time getting them from Floss and Co and they were not responsive. I later got a text urging me to set up my appointment as it is URGENT! Despite having conversations at the time that I could not afford the treatment. Thank goodness I got a second opinion. I came here for a cleaning and exam to establish a new dentist since my previous one retired. I had X-rays and was just told what they saw never showed me anything. My visit for my filling was awful. They didn't use numbing they said they use a laser or something or that effect. I was in so much pain after a few jumps the doctor finally numbed me. Went for a second visit and the same story. Began work without numbing until i kept jumping. Dr had to fix something from a previous procedure and now I have to go back again for them to fix a filling that's throwing my bite off. 1st order of business for a dental or Healthcare provider is to ask if a patients service within their network. Floss was an "EPIC" fail. I was notified that I had an outstanding bill of over $2000. Had I been advised that I was not within my providers network the cost would have been significantly less. My bad, but my age and ignorance was grossly taken advantage of in this instance. I have been going here for about three years but unfortunately it's really gone downhill here and I'm switching to new dentist. I gave a family member a referral, and they were more interested in selling him everything not covered by insurance that costed thousands of dollars rather than doing the cleaning which he actually came in for. He also wasn't scheduled with the person I recommend after asking for this particular hygienist, plus the cleaning never ever got done so waste of time all around for my friend. these people are worse than used car salesmen. I came in after I lost a tooth that needed repair. I was told I needed a bridge to fill in the empty space where my tooth was. they told me a deep clean was required beforehand. I was told it would cost $2,000.00 to which I regretfully agreed. they did my X-rays and started the deep clean. after they deep cleaned half my mouth they told me I would have to come back so they can finish so I told them okay and paid the $2,000.00. they then tell me the $2000 only covered HALF MY MOUTH! and would cost ANOTHER $2000 for them to finish. i almost lost it. I asked to speak to the finance lady because we agreed to I think a total of 2k or 2500 total. they waited until after I already had half my mouth done and paid the 2k to tell me this. I freaked out because I never agreed to these prices that they tried charging me for. not to mention, they completely f*cked up my gums. they wanted $4000 for a deep clean before they would even do what I came there to get done! I didn't even want the deep clea but they made it seem as if it came with the bridge almost like a packaged deal. I have never been so angry in my entire life. My visit was pleasant As a new patient, I was looking forward to addressing my current bite and having my teeth cleaned. I had three ladies work on my teeth- dental assistant, hygienist, and dr. What I loved about all three is that they asked if I had any major concerns, pain, or bleeding happening. Thankfully, NONE! Why I gave the practice 4 stars: 1. I never saw my X-rays even when I was told they would be shown to me on the tv. 2. I have one chipped tooth that is resin filled. It is more than 15+ years old and I don't know how much of the tooth is mine. I let the Dr know that I want to get a new filling. My previous dr recommended a veneer but I wanted a second opinion to see if it was aligned with what my former dentist recommended. Floss & Co Dr couldn't tell where my filling ended bc it wrapped around my tooth. She asked me if I knew where it ended. No..I honestly wouldn't know; this made me lose some confidence in her professional knowledge because I would expect a dr to identify a chipped tooth. So she recommended a crown in lieu of a veneer. What I LOVED: 1. Every staff member greeted me and had a smile on their face. It's like they enjoyed working there. (You don't see that often!) 2. The office is spacious and inviting. If they had a coffee bar, I'd just stay longer to hangout. Usually dental offices are so bland/old/uncomfortable. 3. Free parking across the street and they have their own parking lot. read more

I went back in 2020 had a similar experience. Went somewhere else for the treatment . Decided to try this place again and Went recently because I had some tooth sensitivity and wanted to make sure it was ok . got a cleaning seen the dentist for about 30 seconds and he started talking about getting braces . Then said have a nice day. I was so confused to when my tooth with sensitivity was addressed wasn't shown X-rays explaining how it looked , or even have him look at the tooth. I asked the assistant if I missed the part explaining what's going on with the complaint I had, she went back to check with the dentist and he said it's cause I need to see ortho for braces. Which is bizarre I thought he was just small talking about braces. Went to another dentist location same day and got a filling in my tooth I was complaining about . Turns out I don't need braces for one tooth pain. It was overall a weird experience never seen or heard of someone just try to sell braces for tooth pain. Be very wary of this organization. They are crooks. First thing, they tell you that you are covered for services but don't tell you that will be out of network or Reasonable and Customary fees. They don't disclose it to you. Second, no where on their website do they have indications of cancelation fees. My daughter is here on summer vacation and she wears braces that were done by her orthodontist in another state. While in Chicago, her rubber band broke so I called Floss & Co to see if they could take her as she's not a patient of theirs. Well, I called them and they took her in 20 minutes later, replaced her rubber band on her braces, and didn't even charge us for it! What an awesome dental office. This is my second time getting braces, and I have to say this time around I have been so happy with the treatment thus far. They take their time, no rushing and the attention to detail is greatly appreciated. The first time I went to a well known orthodontist, hoping for the best. I had received just mediocre service and treatment. My overall needs and concerns went unaddressed. I truly love that my now orthodontist treats me like a person and not just another paycheck. She wants me to have the absolute perfect smile. She wants ME to be happy. Dr. Oweis is amazing! I also get my yearly cleanings and overall dental work done here. I wanted to find a local dentist since moving. The atmosphere, equipment and staff were knowledgeable and nice. Why I am giving it 1 star is because I don't believe they were forthcoming of what it would really cost in total & across how many appointments we would have to come back. The cost was astronomical which impacted our holidays and each of us had to go back 3 times. Parking was also difficult - in the end the amount of money was not worth it, I will never go back there, and if it showed me that I can get good quality dental care if I just drive a little bit further, that is more affordable. I actually paid about 10 times more than what I would have going elsewhere. It's quite unfortunate that I feel they were a little bit sneaky and how they charge. It's probably to compensate and pay for their very expensive and fancy equipment but for someone that is on a budget, this is not the place to go. read more

Looking for a new dentist due to having a couple bad experiences with previous dentists, I came across floss & co. Called and made an appt and from the initial phone call, I noticed that this dentist office is different. They're customer service is awesome. They make you feel welcomed even before you step inside. Dr Delone is the dentist that I was assigned to and I wouldn't change that. He is awesome! Great personality. Makes you feel comfortable and in great hands. He also makes you feel confidant about your smile (my smile is far from great). I went for a second visit today to have a tooth extracted due to an infection from a crown/root canal (performed at a different dentist office) and Dr Delone did a fabulous job. Yes I have a missing tooth now but he made the whole process pain free and super quick. Thank you! They charged me 72.00 there then billed my insurance and sent me a bill for 44.50 , they did absolutely nothing . I had a severe phobia of the dentists due to many traumatic childhood events & they made me BEYOND comfortable. No phobia anymore! All thanks to Dr. Izzy and Melissa! I came to their office several times -- first being a cleaning, second two fillings and more cleanings afterward. The two fillings were the hardest for me. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure I was okay. My fiancé was allowed in the room with me and I was allowed to have my headphones on. For the shot (the worse part for me), they used which I believe is a DentalVibe (Injection Comfort System). I am telling you this right now-- I DIDNT FEEL A THING! Not even the shot! Things started off good until I could come in for the reservation I made for my son braces. mind you we been using them for over 3 years and spent a lot of money. I missed one reservation and reschedule another one and now I'm blocked from making reservations to get my son braces maintenance done. I was told I would have to call every Monday to see if there was an opening when this doesn't work for anyone working nor kid is in school. i have paid 100.00 for missing an appointment which I didn't complain about because he was sick and I wasn't thinking about anything but his heath. I have asked to speak to anyone but the manage because he is rude and inconsiderate. I'm never able to speak with anyone and at this point I'm asking that they remove the braces so we can end our business with this company. I've been seen the same dentist since I was 3 (my mom has also been seen by that same dentist before I was born), so I was not interested in making any changes any time soon. Absolutely horrible place and experience and workeres are a bunch of phonies. They tried scamming me for 10 thousand dollars, WITH INSURANCE, for a b.s cleaning and completely unnecessary crowns! I went here because I had a cavity that was hurting so I got a consultation and the whole process nearly took 3 hours and all they did was check my teeth! No actual work was done. They had no interest other than trying to sell their garbage products and services. Doctor that talked to me gave me no real solutions and claimed my teeth needed a grocery list of work to be done that all sounded really made up and don't get me started on the woman that's in charge of billing, total phony and only cared about money. So I went to another local dentist, Dr. Monaco down the block from this place, and they took care of my cavity with no problem whatsoever, he also didnt give me a grocery list of "Problems" like these idiots did.
