I have contacted the office multiple times requesting the refund I am owed, and instead of resolving the issue, I continue to get the runaround. This should be a simple billing correction. Once the insurance company has paid and an overpayment is identified, the customer should not have to repeatedly call and fight to get their own money back. I have been patient, but the lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend checking your insurance statements and payments carefully before paying this office. HEED THIS WARNING: PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS LOCATION!…read more I am appalled, disgusted, and beyond disappointed by my experience at this establishment. From the very first interaction, it became painfully clear that this office operates with an abject disregard for customer service, respect, or basic human decency--especially toward African Americans. Let's start with the financial department, which is nothing short of a disgrace. The individual in charge of this area was shockingly rude, cold, and utterly devoid of the professionalism expected in any service-oriented business. It's one thing to prioritize payment--it's quite another to treat paying customers as though they are nuisances. The blatant lack of courtesy I experienced was not only unacceptable but offensive. The first time I visited, I begrudgingly chalked up the dismissive treatment to the fact that it was an emergency visit. However, the second visit erased any doubts I had about the systemic issues at this office. This time, I came prepared with insurance, yet I was still made to feel as though I was asking for charity. I waited for an unconscionable 90 minutes past my appointment time without a single word of explanation. When I sought clarity, I was met with dismissiveness so cutting that I left the office without even being asked if I wanted to reschedule. There wasn't an apology, a shred of empathy, or even the most basic pleasantry of "Have a nice day." It was clear they didn't want my business--and after this, they certainly won't have it. And let me be frank: this office is NOT welcoming to Black clients. Every non-Black patient who walked in seemed surprised, if not visibly uncomfortable, by my presence. The message was loud and clear: I didn't belong there. Their treatment only confirmed my suspicion. The discomfort I felt was palpable, and no one--not the staff, not the other patrons--made any effort to ease it. This is a disgraceful way to run a business in 2024, and it should be called out for what it is: discrimination. To the receptionist team--if you can even call them that--your behavior was deplorable. One individual attempted to force a façade of politeness, but I've lived long enough to recognize insincerity when I see it. You cannot cover up disdain with half-hearted niceties. The only redeeming factor in my entire experience was the dentist who assisted me on my first visit. She was kind and professional. But let me be clear: no amount of kindness in the back office can compensate for outright hostility and mistreatment at the front. I am an educated, discerning professional, and I demand better. This establishment's behavior is unacceptable on every level, and they should be ashamed to operate with such blatant disregard for Black customers. Losing my business is not just a loss of one client; it is a warning to countless others to stay far away. To the management, you have failed. I would like to hear directly from you as to why this is the standard of service you think is acceptable, especially for Black patrons. To anyone reading this review: spare yourself the anger, disappointment, and indignity I experienced. Take your business elsewhere, where you will be treated with the respect you deserve.

I had two extractions with her and then started an implant process with Dr. Patel in 2022/2023 after Dr. Daisy left. Over almost three years, I went through three different attempts at getting a crown, and each time seemed more painful than the last. As time went on, I felt like I was bothering them whenever I called them about the pain or mentioned that the implant felt loose. Between the second and third crown attempt, I got a second opinion from another dentist who told me the crown was loose and suggested I go back to let them know. When I returned and mentioned this, I was told it was normal to "feel" that way. It wasn't until I explained that another dentist had confirmed it that they removed the crown and said they'd send it back to the lab. After over a year of this, I honestly started questioning whether I was imagining the pain. The third crown attempt became loose the very next day after it was placed. During my final appointment, Dr. Patel explained that she could bury the implant or I could find an oral surgeon on my own or she could recommend one, to have it removed, as she couldn't take it out herself, despite being the one who had put it in. I decided to seek another opinion and eventually saw an oral surgeon who referred me to a prosthodontist. The prosthodontist confirmed that something was genuinely wrong - the implant hadn't integrated properly, which explained my constant pain. He explained that if I didn't have it removed, I risked serious complications like infection. I found an oral surgeon who removed the implant, which I had to pay for myself. Now I'm recovering from that surgery and, because the process took so long, I need additional corrective treatment. This has put me in debt with more procedures ahead of me. The financial stress on top of the physical pain has been really challenging. What's been hardest is that I put my complete trust in this practice.  The ongoing pain was emotionally draining, and feeling like my concerns weren't being taken seriously made everything worse. I've also had some administrative issues - I actually had to ask for a refund, which really should have been obvious given the failed treatment, and I still haven't received anything back. Email replies take days and days for responses.  My membership also hasn't been canceled and my payment information is still in their system, which adds to my financial concerns. This reflects my personal experience at this practice. Looking back, I wish I had made a different choice about where to have my implant done.
