Dr. Steffi and her asst made sure I was comfortable the entire time. They are easy to work with. Plus I hate going to the dentist but they made me feel very welcomed. At the end I believe her name was Mercedes she was awsome. From paying my bill to everything. This place is really caring for their patients. I'm glad my regular dentist sent me there. Would give this place a 20/10!

If you're not familiar with the area, you should definitely leave early. I was slightly late due to this very issue. I was greeted warmly, but there seemed to be more questions about insurance. All insurance information had been taken care of. There was a continuous theme: money. They were already charging me for the x-ray but wanted my insurance so they could bill the insurance and reimburse me if the insurance covered it. The problem is, I would never know.......... The staff didn't seem knowledgeable or trustworthy. After paying for the cost of the 3D x-ray, she didn't verify my email address and sent my receipt to the wrong email address. I had to ask for an itemized bill because the receipt was only for the transaction and not what I paid for. The most interesting part, the visit only took 20 minutes total. Oh, and there was nothing wrong. The doctor and nurse practitioner seem fine. The doctor explained the issue but gave me nothing about what he explained. Did I mention, the expensive x-ray, they absolutely needed to diagnose my potential issue, I never saw it. I left feeling ripped off. I will never comeback here..........

So when I got a nasty infection under a wisdom tooth earlier this summer, I was recommended to Hugh Marchmont by my current dentist to have all my wisdom teeth extracted before anything got worse. You probably guessed it, I was terrified. So I came back from my San Diego vacation, and anxious awaited my appointment... I had 4 wisdom teeth extracted with nitrous oxide. My nurse/assistant was amazing. She answered every small question I had and even chatted with me a bit before the gas to help me be comfortable. I knew what to expect for the most part. Dr. Marchmont-Robinson had my teeth out in what felt like maybe 25-35 minutes tops. I was numbed up and the nitrous had me so calm as I listened to my phone in the chair. The whole procedure took an hour and most of that is waiting for the numbing to kick in fully. I had no reason to be scared, it was so simple. If you're looking for someone to take care of your wisdom teeth I highly HIGHLY suggest Marchmont in Berywn. Thank you all!!!

I was referred to this office and Ive regretted every encounter since receiving my treatment plan…read more I will start off with the positives. The front desk ladies were professional and very pleasant. The dental assistant was good too. I was presented with a treatment plan that cost about $4330 for 2 bottom wisdom teeth. These teeth were not impacted. I asked the office about codes and why the bill was so high. I asked about laughing gas instead of anesthesia. The anesthesia cost was about $1200 and the laughing gas would be about $950 because my insurance didnt cover it. I asked a family member about the PRF treatment that was costing me over $1300. That a blood treatment at the extraction site that is supposed to shorten your healing time. But is not guaranteed. Well i told the dental office, i was not comfortable with that and i would just like to have my wisdom teeth removed. I was told that I HAVE TO DO WHAT THE DENTIST SAYS DO OR I CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I HAVE A RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY FKN MEDICAL TREATMENT. The dentist can suggest treatment but can not force me to do anything. They are supposed to get informed consent or something like that. I am cancelling my appt and taking my mouth to a new dentist thats only charging $900 upfront and will return whatever the insurance doesnt cover.

I came in for 2 extractions and as anyone would be I was super nervous and tense but Dr. Ledger along with his assistant Luana made me feel completely at ease, comfortable and most importantly safe, I didn't feel a thing! They even let me pick the music playing in the background while they worked. Everything was explained super well to me as far as after care, etc. One thing that stood out for me was later in the evening I received a personal phone call from Dr. Ledger himself just to see how I was recovering and feeling, I've never had that before from any dentist/oral surgeon. It was pretty cool to see that for one he remembered me from the day and two he took his own personal time to make sure I was recovering ok. Needless to say this office and Dr. Ledger are great and if you're in search of a great oral surgeon look no further

I had to go back in for a secondary infection a month after my wisdom teeth removal. the procedure was much more painful than I was expecting it to be and the process felt rushed. the nurse wasn't kind to me while I was having a panic attack. I was scared when I felt like I couldn't breathe and I told the nurse this, she tells me "if you weren't breathing you wouldn't be alive". After the procedure I was still having trouble breathing and calming down, when I asked for my boyfriend she told me she wouldn't let my boyfriend come in unless I calmed down. Thank you Dr.Ledger for checking in on me and being nice. For others with dental anxiety, you might want to look into some other options for care.
