    Dr. Korompilas was great! My general dentist advised me to have my three wisdom teeth removed (my…read morefirst wisdom tooth was extracted years ago) and was referred to Dr. Korompilas. I put it off for so long only because I was sooooo nervous about the whole sedation process. I FINALLY met with Dr. Korompilas at the Orland Park location for consultation and explained to him the fear issues I was having. He explained the whole process, and really assured me about the safety of conscious sedation. Dr. Korompilas was genuinely nice, really funny, has a great personality and really made me feel comfortable. I was convinced...... it was time! The next visit was the extraction of my three wisdom teeth. I was put on an IV which consists of the sedation. Sedation? I was told to shut my eyes if I wanted just for "relaxing". I was numbed up, which that is the ONLY part of the process I actually felt anything. Let me tell you how good Dr. K. is.........three wisdom teeth extracted, then walked to the recovery room for a few minutes and the entire process took less than twenty minutes including the sedating part. Went shopping immediately after and had absolutely no swelling or pain afterwards. Sedation process, piece of cake!

    I wished I had checked the reviews. I was recommended to go for an excision. Dr. never explained…read morethat I may lose my tooth, he made me sign the consent when I was under anesthesia. Also during the surgery, he was teaching students, which I did not know ahead of time, and asked me for my consent while he was applying anesthesia. Office did not explain insurance did not covered the surgery, and ended up with a big bill.
