He was great, it's a shame he retired almost 2 years ago. HARD to find a Dentist that actually worked on your teeth instead of hygentist.

One small incident happened with some of the front desk staff that could have been easily handled and I felt as a long time customer there was no compassion or just concern regarding my concern as a long time customer. I feel the front desk staff needs to be trained from management all the way down the line. Some of the front desk staff are really awesome and great, however its just sad that a couple bad apples can ruin a bunch. Overall service is awesome when it comes to the doctors doing what you expect and they do deliver A+ service. Beware! of how you may be treated by front desk when there's and issue.

I am downgrading my 5-star review from 6 years ago. I had oral surgery recently and was in severe…read morepain and swelling. I thought I felt a piece of tooth left but when I went back in I was informed that a piece of bone with left. The doctor clipped it off and did not use any numbing agent. In addition, I feel like I was overcharged. Instead of charging me my portion of my insurance I was informed that they charge more than what my insurance allows/allocates so I have to pay the difference which was not told to me when I questioned why my estimate was so high. Update- As of 5/20/26 I'm still waiting on my refund of $671.40 due to fraudulent billing practices (in-network balance billing) and I keep getting the run around. After this post Anna from the office called me again to refund me $621. Which is $50 less than they owe me, but she refused to listen to me as she had done in the past, stating that they still haven't received my insurance payment, but are doing me a favor by issuing me a refund. My insurance company sent an electronic payment a month ago but the dentist office did not accept it and instead opted to wait on a check. So, no they are not doing me a favor by refunding me some of the money I'm owed. This incident has been so stressful and mentally draining when you deal with people who are not consumer focused, but instead reply with narcissism. I also emailed the patient advocate and have not received a response yet. In addition, I called to confirm my appointment scheduled for Monday 6/15/26 and was informed that I was blocked from making any more appointments at any location. It sounds like it should be illegal to me retaliating because I spoke up against improper billing practices.

Since I'm an inquisitive patient, I appreciated Dr. Cheng's patience to clearly explain each step of the process. Sure enough, the procedure was quick and painless just as he described. Dr. Cheng was able to engineer/craft a portion of my tooth back using filling, and my tooth is now as good as new. He has even called back to follow-up on how my tooth has felt a few weeks after the procedure. For a highly skilled dentist who is patient, experienced, and caring, call Dr. Cheng! Your teeth will be in good hands here.

I got an appointment pretty quickly so it was really convenient. The wait time in the waiting room was short. What I was surprised about and actually really liked was when I was in the chair, I was literally with the dentist the WHOLE time, unlike my old dentist where I saw him for like five minutes and he had his assistants working on me. I had to come in a few times to get my teeth fixed so I actually saw both dentists, which are father and son. I really felt like the dentists here really pay attention to their patients and really try to help them out. I did not felt rushed at all which is always my concern when I go to the doctor. I was so happy with my teeth afterwards. They felt so clean! I will definitely be coming back.

I'm sure everyone knows that going to see a dentist is very dreadful. But I'm telling you, I flew across the country to see Dr. Ayangade for a reason. The procedure is painless and quick. He did it swiftly and seamlessly before you know it, it was all over. He's very good at what he does with great sense of humor. Definitely will be back with any dental work in the future. Thank you Dr. A !!!!!

Long story short...I had an appointment for a teeth cleaning. I was told that my insurance policy…read morewasn't active and had ended June 2018. I was confused by this but figured maybe I brought an old card by mistake so I left. I ended up calling the number on the back of my card while in the car and was told that my policy is indeed current. I went back to speak to the woman that told me my insurance wasn't active and informed her that I called my insurance company and they informed me that I am current. She shows me a printout of what the insurance website indicated and under benefit information it has two policies. One states that I'm current, another states that it ended in 6/2018. Confusing...yes. But nevertheless, the same information she interpreted as inactive, is the same information that indicates my insurance is active. She attempted to tell me the policy that is active is for medical, which I informed her I have a completely different insurance company for medical. To make matters worse the bottom section of the page labeled "member eligibility" clearly states end date is "current" and my active benefits are "dental". I can understand an individual making a mistake. It happens we all are human. I can understand that a dentist office gets busy and you may not have the time to call an insurance company to verify eligibility so you check the website. But when someone else lets you know that you made a mistake and confronts you about it an unprompted apology can go a long way. Instead, once I mentioned that this ordeal was an inconvenience and waste of time, I was then given the typical response of "I'm sorry for the inconvenience". I promptly asked for the paperwork I completed with my personal information and left. Proceed with caution if you're a new patient. Their lack of customer service put a bad taste in my mouth.
