My alias is Bob Smith. My name is Alan F…read more I had a very frustrating experience with Bright Dental Smiles. I needed dental work and, as required, they had to get preauthorization from my health care provider. Unfortunately, the process was a nightmare. The dental office kept submitting requests, but apparently they weren't providing all the information my insurance needed. My health provider kept asking for more details, and Bright Dental Smiles just didn't seem able to get it right. This back-and-forth went on for over two months! Every time I called, I got vague answers and no real progress. Eventually, I just gave up out of frustration. If you're looking for an office that can efficiently handle insurance and preauthorization, I'd recommend going elsewhere. I wasted a lot of time and still didn't get the care I needed.

At my first visit, I had a dental cleaning and Dr. Jaspreet does her assessment of your teeth and makes a plan for you. Based on my assessment, she found that I had 3 wisdom teeth (on the x-rays performed that same day) and a tiny cavity that she was able to fill on a separate visit. My previous dentist never took x-rays of my teeth when I complained about a toothache and said I didn't have any wisdom teeth. I loved that Dr. Jaspreet was honest and provided her recommendations. Her staff also have great bedside manners. I was concerned about my tooth gap that was made by my orthodontist so I could get a tooth implant where my missing tooth was supposed to be. My previous dentist suggested that I get a tooth implant or a Maryland bridge. I went to two endodontists who said that they were unable to do a tooth implant or bridge due the size being too small for an implant. Her dental hygienist suggested Invisalign to close the tooth gap, instead of an implant (too expensive) and a Maryland bridge, which destroys your natural teeth and brought it up to Dr. Jaspreet. I really appreciate that they listen to their patients and consider their preferences versus other dentists who are greedy and don't take patients' considerations/preferences when performing treatments. I actually look forward to going to the dentist because of Dr. Jaspreet and her friendly staff. I have gotten dental cleanings, a cavity filling (no pain!), teeth whitening, and will be soon starting my Invisalign treatment. Thanks Bright Dental Smiles for caring about my teeth!

Unfortunately I will be leaving the practice after all these years because of the women at the front desk. I had 4 visits within one month. At 2 of the visits I was told they would be billed to insurance and I would receive an invoice for anything not covered. At the other 2 visits I was told I needed to pay upfront and would get a refund for whatever insurance covered. I was getting whiplash from all this back and forth, unable to predict if I would need to pay upfront or if it would be billed to insurance. After receiving an explanation of benefits from insurance I called the office to discuss my overpayment. I was told they had not received the insurance checks yet and would put a note in my chart to call me once they were received. I never got a phone call. I ultimately followed up and was told the checks were received and I had a $900+ "credit" on my account and they could write me a refund check if I wanted. When questioned on the practice of making ONLY delta dental patients pay upfront and only at some visits the women became quite defensive and rude. All she kept saying is "this is the way the doctor wants it done". Well if that's the case why isn't it followed at every visit? Had I not followed up would a refund check have been written or would I have just had this credit sitting in my account there? This seems like double dipping, keeping the money I paid out of pocket, while also keeping the check from insurance and just having a credit sit in my account. Something just doesn't seem right about this. In today's economy when every penny counts I can't be going to an office when I don't know if I'm going to have to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars upfront and if they will actually refund me once insurance pays or if they will just keep a credit in my account. I'll be finding a practice that has followed their previous practice of billing insurance and sending an invoice for what wasn't covered. The longest it took insurance to write a check to the dentist in all of these visits was 8 business days. So the woman's explanation of "it's taking insurance too long to pay, that's why delta dental patients have to pay up front" doesn't make sense.

I searched and called other offices until I came across Colletti Dental. They were able to see me one hour from when I called and everyone from office staff, assistants, and of course Dr Vince, were so professional, competent, and very caring. Dr Vince explained every step, was gentle, super attentive, and continued to check on me throughout my procedure. He's the best!! Recommend 100%. Thank you Dr Vince and staff!

My former dentist would not see me in a timely fashion despite my serious plight. Although a new patient, Scharfenberg Dental worked me in the day after I called. I have been an extremely satisfied, loyal patient ever since. Regular check-ups and cleanings have been so easy, fast, and convenient. I've only had a few more involved procedures but the care I have received has been well above average. The entire staff at Scharfenberg Dental is friendly, welcoming, professional, and fun. As hard as this may be to believe, I always know that I'm going to have a good time and a lot of laughs when interacting with this awesome group of people. I highly recommend the services of Scharfenberg Dental.

SUPER tl;dr: Awesome people, awesome work, 5 stars aren't enough…read more I don't believe there are enough synonyms for 'best' when it comes to this dental office. I had put off going for years...I had problem teeth that I'd tried saving with a previous dentist but I got frustrated and stopped going. That was in the mid-, late-90s. Yeah...I waited a looooooong time. So long, in fact, it was time to throw in the towel and have them removed. Enough about my lazy history...on with the awesomeness that is Scharfenberg Dental!!! They were able to get see me quickly. Dr. Jerry listened to my story in which I took full responsibility for my predicament -this wonderful man basically said I was there now and let's take care of the problem. No judgment, just a patient man with a plan. Took care of an immediate problem right away, then scheduled the extractions shortly thereafter. The day of the surgery, I was, of course, freaking out. He had given me a pill to take a couple of hours prior to coming in. Then, it was nitrous & Novocaine. They offered headphones with Pandora, there are bird feeders strung in the trees outside...seriously, the people in this office are concerned with your comfort and well-being on every level. Everything went well...I think I remember about 30 seconds total of the hours-long procedure and honestly? I have ZERO memories of pain or even discomfort. Nothing. Dr. Jerry and the dental tech spoke in calm, soothing voices -I never freaked once. Their caring follow-up calls later that day and after truly made me feel well cared-for. During my treatment, I was handed off to Dr. Carly, who then worked with me to get full dentures. She has been an absolute delight, always cheerful, also 100% non-judgmental about my reason for being there...believe me, that's meant a lot. For the first time in over 20 years, I can now smile. Really smile. When she first put in the plates, I cried. These wonderful people gave me back my smile. Dr. Carly said something funny and as I laughed, my hand immediately covered my mouth, as I've done since the 90s. She held my hand and said, "You don't have to do that anymore." Monumental. It's said that the receptionist is the face of an office. Sharon is the sweetest, most down-home lady you'll ever meet. From her greetings to her conversations to her scheduling you to the best convenience of all, you won't find a nicer, more competent lady anywhere. This already fantastic business is fortunate to have her. Erica & Carol, the dental techs, are not only awesome at their jobs, they are super-awesome girls. They always spoke to me like a friend, not just a patient. They helped keep me calm and feel welcome, all while performing their duties well. To sum it up, run...don't walk...to this office. You won't be sorry.

Thank you Dr. Ivan,…read more It was an honor to be a part in the documentary, as well as being your patient. I saw the documentary as a means to "pay it forward" to all of the Radante team the for the unique and personalized care. I remember my first visit which was for critical tooth extraction, my habits were not healthy. With shame and fear of what the result of my neglect may be... now I can look at my smile each morning with pride (while flossing) for the rest of my life. If it was not for the humble honesty, persistence and transparency of the Radante team in restoring my oral health, I'd be looking in the mirror today ashamed. I still have bad habits to break, as well as good habits to make but the foundation set through the work will stand as a reminder for all my years to come. To me that is the confidence a good smile brings I would not have had the confidence to participate in a documentary on oral health! It is my pleasure and honor to have been a part in commemorating this great effort. I do believe the eyes are the window to the soul: an evil glare or a tearful eye can be negated with a smile: the reflection of the soul.
