Gf fried zucchini with house ranch.

All in all a trip worth repeating. First the negative: The curbside does not currently alert staff and they are very heavy handed with pepper in the gravy, on the fries as well as zucchini coating, but not to the point of inedible. Positive notes: the staff member I spoke to inside was very nice, my fiancée loved the pulled pork on a gluten free bun, the chicken strips were big and delicious and we loved their ranch. We're excited to go back and try more on the menu

This has been on my list to try for a while now and I was in the area the other day so decided to stop in. It wasn't busy so parking wasn't an issue. The interior is clean and well maintained. Service was friendly. They have beer, cocktails, and soft drinks. The beers on tap are brewed in collaboration with local breweries and a few in manhattan. I tried the Gunslinger Gold West Coast IPA that was brewed with Red Crow. It was a really good, nicely done IPA. We ordered food to go and our order was accurate. We started with the Crispy Portobello Strips: Fresh Portabello Mushroom caps cut into strips & fried with pretzel breading. These were probably my favorite thing that we ordered. They weren't soggy and you could actually taste the mushrooms because the breading was light. I also ordered the Crispy Chicken Strips:Zesty Batter & Pretzel Breading. They came with a side so I opted for the fries. I was honestly underwhelmed. They weren't bad but they weren't amazing either. The chicken was well cooked. The breading was good. But it kept reminding me of frozen Tyson chicken nuggets. The taste that is. The fries were also average. I really liked the honey mustard sauce and it saved the meal overall. Since they had mac and cheese, I decided to try it. It wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst I've ever had. Again, just average. I really wanted to love this place due to the people and beer but I wasn't blown away. They do have burgers and other offerings so I may need to return to try some other items. I'd definitely stop in for a beer and some mushrooms.

I found Strip's by accident after driving through the area after leaving a restaurant destination nearby that had a line out the door and I didn't have the desire to attempt a wait. Strip's only had a couple of other diners on a Saturday afternoon so I had quick and efficient service. I wasn't feeling in a chicken mood at the time so i passed on the signature items and ordered a tenderloin with fries. The tenderloin was very large and had a nice breading and the fries were hot and crispy and a spicy in-house ketchup was provided. Zero complaints and I would gladly return again to try the chicken next time. Lot's of menu options and a full bar is available.

Pecan Smoked Baby Back Ribs Full Rack $22.99.

FPO and I came here at the recommendation of friends. We got here about 6 pm on a Saturday and only one table was taken. We were greeted as we walked in and told we could sit wherever. Others came soon after and by the time we got our food the restaurant was about half full. We ordered the Portobello Mushroom Strips (minimally breaded but a little salty). FPO got the full rack of baby back ribs. I tried them and they were okay. Needed the BBQ sauce; the ribs weren't flavorful alone. I ordered the Avocado Chicken Sandwich. It was okay. Not bad, not especially good, not particularly memorable. The service was okay. Our waiter answered the questions we asked. There was someone else who spent most of his time leaning on a pillar near the bar. We also saw another of the employees eating something a customer was returning to the kitchen because it was incorrect. Next time we'll explore someplace else.

Ultimate nachos with pecan-smoked pulled pork & jalapeño rum Cranberry Lemonade

After reading their Facebook post about the "ultimate nachos" had to drive from Olathe to the Merriam location to try them out. Amazing ...worth the drive!! A very generous serving ...fresh tortilla chips, choice of meat (ordered pecan-smoked pulled pork)... piled high with layers of cheesy nacho goodness. Paired the meal with a cold glass of jalapeño-infused rum cranberry lemonade. This would be a good spot to watch a Chiefs game!

Chicken Strips

DoorDashed this meal so we didn't get the full experience. I was craving chicken strips and searched Yelp!, obviously this place was the first to come up. It is very affordable, they have good menu options, and their chicken strips were very flavorful. You do have to notate if you want to add a side, but the 5 chicken strips ended up being enough for me.

The food is excellent! The service was sub-par. I am really rooting for this business to thrive but they need to do a little better. The restaurant was not busy but our order was "lost" and we had to seek out the server for additional service multiple times.

I liked everything about this new "dive bar" including the delicious, generously sized chicken sandwich, the good variety of sides, the reasonable prices and the first-rate service during my dine-in lunch visit. My grilled chicken sandwich with choice of side ($9.99) was served with a smile just a few minutes after I ordered at the bar, where the service was helpful, attentive, cheerful and friendly. The sandwich stood 3" tall with a toasted bun, fresh veggies, several moist, tasty chicken strips and a delicious sauce - nice! I also liked the very good selection of side items including the yummy, healthy superfood slaw. I noticed a clean and new seating area, a full bar with several signature drinks, 14 TVs, an electronic jukebox, two dart boards, a pool table and country background music inside with a large patio outside. The menu included chicken and pork entrées with strips, sandwiches and wings. They offered wrap, gluten-free and keto options without an upcharge, along with meals for the kiddos. Excellent!

It's open!!! The chicken is premium quality meat. Both sides we tried were crispy and well seasoned. They have a good list of local beers to drink as well. There is a game room in the back with TVs, pool table, and darts. There's a cute porch out back for outdoor dining.

Nice neighborhood bar. Just happens to stop here for lunch. Been hearing how good there chicken strip is and I wanted to try. They were okay. I want to try their tenderloin next time. Service was good while we were there. Big screen TVs available for sport watching. Pool table and music jukebox always available. This could be a good neighborhood hangout.

This is a clean "dive bar" with great food! I have celiac and they have GF/GS items which I appreciate. Their GF chicken nuggets are excellent and their fries that I choose are also good and I don't care for fries that much. They have a well stocked bar and friendly servers. They have a small patio area and also a game room for some fun.

Fun! First off the…read moredrinks were fantastic. I got the secret garden and my wife got the bittersweet symphony. The bartender the night we went was on point. Both drinks were a great mix sweet, sour and alcohol. Perfect for dinner. It was interesting when we pulled up because the restaurant is in a strip mall and it was pouring rain and we thought it was closed because the place was super dark from the outside. Turns out they have heavy curtains in front of the huge windows facing outside. It was nice because it gave us privacy on the inside. So if you're like us and you pull up and the place is dark don't worry it's open and great inside. The place serves small plates, kind of like tapas. You order a bunch for the table and then share. My wife loves this concept. She likes to try things. Our server recommended 3-5 plates per 2 people we ordered 4, but three was enough. Our last plate we each took a bite to try it and brought the rest home. The food was consistently good, but we really enjoyed the caramelized cabbage. It was fantastic. The cabbage was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of firmness and snap not mushy. The sauce its in was so good. This dish was the standout for us. The low-point was the duck. The coconut sauce was a bit too sweet for our liking. I think a little bit of heat or sour would have really balanced it out. It was fine, the others we liked more. Overall a fun place to eat and try things. Definitely recommended.

Egg Curry Toast - not sure where the egg was but some good depth of flavor with the curry - think maybe a thicker shashuska Lamb Focaccia - good comfort food with a dipping sauce - light on the lamb and butternut squash. I mainly tasted pastry Coconut Curry - the only solid dish that I would go back for. The noodles are basically a packaged noodle common in India. Little bits of fish. A nice mild kick (hot for a white midwesterner) Korean Fried Chicken - much smaller than I thought - while I liked the paneer, the chicken has the same crispiness as a Panda express sesame chicken Overall, the place has a nice ambiance, but for fusion it's basically American taste with a few Indian ingredients. It's not a place an Indian person would go to. This is where a white person who is trying to impress an Indian person would go with a high end look. I would think of it like a steakhouse that adds a McRib and calls it BBQ. Courteous and attentive staff - mainly the food that's missing the mark on making true statements.

This might become my new go-to for watching games. Food was excellent. I had the nachos, which weren't quite what I pictured, but turned out even better than expected once I dug in -- messy, but that's half the fun. The place is a nice big restaurant in mission farms. It's an upscale casual vibe that is a bit different from the places we usually like to go for morning food. Nice comfortable seats and well appointed. We had never been before so we asked our server several questions and she was awesome. We spend a lot of time in New Orleans and they had beignets on the menu. She said no on the beignets in the friendliest way. She knew we wouldn't like them. Probably nothing against them they are probably fine enough but she understood where we were coming and politely gave us the scoop. Not only that but i was starving and she recommended we have the breakfast nachos that she described like tostadas and she was right! Perfect! All restaurants should have someone who cares about the business and customer enough to steer them the right way. We were both impressed with her. After the "nachos" we shared a breakfast burrito. Everything we got was good. The burrito was pork and eggs and it was tasty. Only thing is I wished they would have grilled the tortilla on the outside to firm it up. The potatoes were fine, but a bit bland. They could have used some seasoning and more onions. The nachos were good but I think could've used a bit more cheese. Overall, we were pretty happy and will be back. I am curious to try an omelette next time. I wonder if we can get the same server.
