Store itself is bit bleak, but the breakfast was sooo good! Ordered 4 different tacos, had to wait a bit since they made to order, and so glad we did! Large tacos filled with fresh ingredients - sausage, bacon, potatoes and beans, yum. They also have menudo on weekends, and saw several patrons with large steaming bowls - looked and smelled wonderful (next time will get for sure!). They also have burgers, salads, carne guisada, and enchiladas...all looked great. Way better than McDonald's across street! Will be back!

After grabbing what she needed, the cashiers were great in scanning, bagging, and taking our payment. On our second visit, we used the self-checkout, with the young lady, who was overseeing the area, helping us out. She was great! This particular H-E-B has everything abundantly in stock and seemingly fresh. Don't think of this store as your only option...think of it as the best place in town. Shop here! Also, their gas is also the cheapest in town. With quick, self-pay pumps, why shop anywhere else?
