I've always preferred small grocery stores to large ones, & I really have a soft spot for this one. Maybe because I grew up in the area, or maybe I just like how leisurely a shopping trip here is; I enjoy my time spent here, & I think it's a nice change of pace from the Walmarts & Targets of the world. A pro-tip: the H-E-B app is a great help for a store as condensed as this one (& any H-E-B in general). Like many other Texans, I made my COVID-19 vaccine appointment through HEB's main website (vaccine.heb.com). After finding a spot available at this pharmacy, I filed out all the information and received a confirmation email. When I got to the pharmacy, the staff was super friendly and already had my name on file. They asked me to fill out an additional form and answered all of our questions related to the Pfizer vaccine. The staff was very nice and even gave my husband additional information on how he could get his vaccine (he is not part of group 1A, 1B or 1C). In just a few minutes I was called to separate room to get my pfizer vaccine and received some additional paperwork with information on side effects. Thank you to the staff for their hard work and for getting Texans vaccinated!
