Since we were in Cuero at the Walmart down the street, we stopped in for a couple of items that Walmart didn't have. The store was beautiful, clean, and very well laid out. Maybe we should have stopped in here first. Anyway, we both found what we were looking for at prices comparable to other big box retailers. The service at the check out was quick and painless as well. The cherry on the cake was grabbing corn dog samples on the way to the check out area. It hit the spot as I hadn't eaten lunch yet. Ha ha! This pharmacy does not give you any discounts whatsoever or use coupons. They also don't pay attention on my case they did not. They were negligent in the fact that they have filled prescriptions for me. The same prescriptions for a while and I have always been on muscle relaxers because I have several physical conditions that require me to take them. Due to a urinary tract infection my doctor also prescribed a prescription of Bactrim DS. Bactrim DS amplifiers muscle relaxers like tizanadine and can cause you to overdose. My dr didn't catch it, now did the pharmacy. There is no warning label onto tizanadine nor Bactrim to tell you. When I called the complain to the pharmacy, I was met with coldness and constant justification from both the corporation and the local office. I'm happy to say that transferring my prescriptions over to my insurance company is now not taking any money from my pocket and because of this I won't trust Heb anymore and I'm looking for a new doctor. If you're not your own guardian and advocate, no one will be. The mistakes like this can be deadly.

The shelves are always stocked, the aisles are always clear, & the associates are always happy & quick to help. I pretty much know where everything is, but the few times I've wandered aimlessly looking for something, fellow shoppers -- mostly older & wiser -- have helped me find whatever it is I'm hunting down. I've always preferred small grocery stores to large ones, & I really have a soft spot for this one. Maybe because I grew up in the area, or maybe I just like how leisurely a shopping trip here is; I enjoy my time spent here, & I think it's a nice change of pace from the Walmarts & Targets of the world. A pro-tip: the H-E-B app is a great help for a store as condensed as this one (& any H-E-B in general). It tells you aisle by aisle if they have something you want in stock, so you can save time, gas, & energy if you need something in a pinch.

The bakers are always so nice and patient on the phone with all my wants. They can have it ready as early as the next day. The sweets always come out better than expected. She told me the other one had a different number, but it was the only sign anywhere near the item and was the same exact description. They just had an old sign apparently. The cashier wasn't very nice, but Destiny, who was the manager, was so kind and didn't make me feel bad even though it wasn't that much money. She actually gave me the item and told me thank you for bringing it to her attention. I just thought it was over the top kind and the best customer service I've had in a long time. Manager destiny at this location in Pleasanton deserves a raise! She knows how to treat a customer!
