The gentleman there treated me like I was the only customer in the store --took care of me right away and even called a local tailor to set up alterations for me same day once I explained my situation. Well after August 3rd robotics colon resection and fixing the pulled to tight with scar tissue from 1 years old at ingalls hospital now university of Chicago the team at 95th street put hupty dumpty back together and it corrected itself and I put myself on a diet that I call carnivore diet low carb as of February 1st 2023 and I with my serum that I came up with 18 years ago and the grace of God lost all that weight and my diabetes ,anklitos spondylitis, gout, and Multiple Sculirouis are all gone with high PSA and enlarged prostate and high blood pressure is all gone and I'm in the best shape of my life at age 52 year old born 14th of February and that's all God and I spent 1100 on new clothes with Threads and got a new belt as the American made belt I have from Threads almost wraps around my skinny butt now twice. That being said I kept all my suits from men's wearhouse and I went to them and asked the tailors if they fix my clothes as the label men's wearhouse George Zimmerman stated if you buy from us we have your back as long as you lose the weight will tailor your suits and clothes for free. Well guess what Zimmerman sold the business to another company and the nice tailor there said we do not honor George's marketing concept anymore and said to me that it would cost me 100 dollars a pants of suit jacket to retail all my clothes so I walked out that orland park store and it'll will be a large law suit because that's called false marketing and that company that George Zimmerman owned called men's wearhouse has to honor his business contract as that's been in effect since he started business and anyone with a law degree can understand it false representation and advertising to not honor that as the new owner purchased the past owners company and same policy's. That being said I buy local as Fred the owner of Threads has been a friend since 1997 and he and his team of people have been awesome for all the years I struggled as a portly fat guy now to a skinny 52 year old muscle bound warrior that loves the Lord and my body is now a well oiled machine and I feel like 21 again. Fred the owner at Threads big and tall has awesome clothes for all your needs for every occasion and I still shop there and he's a great friend and his employees are awesome too. They helped me back in February of this year 2025 get me dressed to look good and feel good as I'm still gonna be back at there business to buy more jeans and what not. If you do take a store credit, no proof of return and no voucher is given. You better just hope it went to your email. Customer service not so great in store. There are too many clothing stores in the world to go through the hassle here. The story: I purchased a jean dress online earlier this week. I usually wear a size small but the dress that I ordered was really tight so I ended up physically going to the store to exchange the dress. Well, they only had one medium size left (the one on the mannequin) so I walked up to the guy at the cash register to ask for help and he had a hard time deciding whether or not he should pause his conversation on the telephone to help me out. He ended up putting the phone down for two seconds to help me out and helped me to the dressing room. I tried the dress on, it fit perfect, but then I noticed that there was a hole on the side of the dress (looked like a moth got a hold of it). The guy says (while holding the phone to his ear, "I can fix the hole." Ummm, no thank you! I thought it was the weirdest thing. Why would I want to purchase a dress with a patched up hole on the side? So I then tell him that I just want to return the dress. Him: Do you want a credit or would you like to exchange the dress? Me: No thank you, I just want my money back. Well they dont accept returns, even though I bought that dress that same week and even though the last medium had a moth hole in it. Anyways, I tried on a different dress and guess what??? Another freaking moth hole. I didn't see anything else I liked so I just had to take the store credit. So I was waiting for him to give me a voucher and NO VOUCHER! He say's it's in your email. Well guess what, I don't have that email connected to my phone so I basically had to leave the store and take his word for it because I didn't need them having my personal email. No receipt, no voucher, absolutely no proof that I returned the dress. TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE HERE and 50 bucks gone if I don't see anything else I like. And 50 bucks gone if there is no email.

All of my…read moreformer colleagues have moved on so I was fairly worried last night when I had a formal event to attend and had to use a recommended but untried place called Boss Formalwear. They were amazing for both my stylish son, and my hard to fit body! They had a great selection of styles, they carry their own inventory in-stock, and the prices were very fair. It is a business where attention to detail is everything and they were so attentive- checking the sleeve length, making sure the pant length is correct, triple checking that all the accessories are there and operable. I cannot recommend them enough and am super happy that I have a great place to go to get my next tuxedo!
