Elias is fabulous! He worked in a PT office and he's in nursing school. Highly knowledgeable excellent mannerisms for helping me stretch despite being pretty tight and older. I was experiencing a twitch that we could not determine causation despite medical interventions and testing and he determined it was probably a tight IT band and associated issues. This would have cost me thousands of dollars and this is a fabulous price. $189 subscription for 5 x 25 min a month (includes one free on Medicare). I combine four 25s into 2 x 50 minute sessions. Although the young technicians are pleasant enough, I don't feel their short training sessions makes them qualified to provide the type of "therapy" they advertise. The office staff are not knowledgeable and not able to provide customer service. I had numerous problem with communication and my account, which were never addressed. Superior operation for certain. I've been "stretched" at both Ventura and Camarillo locations and all I can say is GREAT SUPERIOR OUTSTANDING and EXCELLENT. At 75, I needed to get back into "fighting shape" -- knowing that you either use it or lose it. While I played every sport when young, I've spent way too many hours at a desk...and, yep, that flexibility and strength ebb away one day at a time. The staff and Flexologists at both locations are superb...very helpful...totally professional and anxious to serve your unique needs. Highly trained, they figure out how to make maximum use of your time on the bench. I'm seeing great progress after only 6-sessions. I'm certain I'll continue on the 8-sessions/month plan for a looooong time to come. (Aside: I too signed up in December...and when the opening at Ventura got delayed, I took some sessions at Camarillo and now will continue mostly at Ventura. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and they listen to you and your concerns. At the end of a stretch, the flexologist will give you a stretch or 2 that you can do at home to help as well! I recommend scheduling your stretches out in advance so you get the time/day you want, however they accommodate all last minute requests the best they can :) read more

Being in the fitness industry I know every other corner has some kind of fitness concept or new cutting edge technology. I came in to this studio for an assisted stretch and couldn't have been more impressed with Chris, I think was his name? He customized the session to my needs and feel so much better after time with him. He was able to assess my areas of focus and give me homework to continue improving my range of motion. Jackson as well I think was the sales reps name couldn't have been nicer. I went in for a demo and signed up for a three month membership with stretch lab. The sales guy told me that they would be open in February or March and that I would be charged at that time.I checked my statement from my bank and they billed me in December when they are not opened yet! I called them and they agreed to credit my account back which they failed to do! I may need to take appropriate legal action against this company on Monday ! I would not recommend this business to anyone! read more

My husband needs a hip replacement this year. I encouraged him to go back weekly to help with pain. They have the rudest receptionist I have ever encountered. He missed his appointment this am and called within the hr of the appt to reschedule another time which they can't offer. They only called him within no response on the phone for a reminder today. Their policies need more flexibility and they need to provide customer service not rude rebuttals based on a policy. That's how you lose repeat business. I went in for my complimentary stretch and met with Winnie who helped me get settled. She was calm and professional. The studio is currently being built out right now, and I can't wait to see the final studio when it is open in February! We paid my first months membership payment the day of my stretch to get my founding member price which is good for the entire time I am a member! great stretches really helped me a lot but their billing system is scamish, they won't let you cancel. they completely ignored and denied my cancellation and insist to continued automatic charges, calling my phone now daily. customers always wrong, they want to charge for sessions not used. I cancelled the monthly to be able to come in whenever I can and pay per session but they did not like that. some of their employees know I canceled and say that my cancellation is on file but I still get calls daily saying I never canceled and I need to pay another month. read more

Just went for a complimentary 15 minute demonstration. The actual stretch lab experience was really nice, I think it could be very beneficial. They are hoping to open up the Ventura location in March or April. For 4, 50 minutes sessions a month I was quoted $269 per month. The salesperson tried to get me o sign without showing me the contract, or explaining that I wouldn't be able to start until they opened in April, but I would be charged once per in December. That sounded sketchy to me. I asked to see the hole contract, which he did show me on his computer. They have no paper copies available, and he would not email me the contract for review. When I said I liked the concept but was going to wait, he said that he couldn't guarantee the price after today. I absolutely hate that sales tactic. If you miss a scheduled session you are charged $20. In order to cancel your contract you have to give 30 days written notice and there is probably more to it, but I couldn't get a copy of the contract. I'm bummed because I wanted to do this but I don't like the business model. read more

I have no complaints with the actual stretches, however, I have a huge problem with their business practices. I signed up for three months, and several days before my three months was up I notified the business that I was not extending. I was informed for the very first time that I needed to have canceled 31 days in advance to avoid further billing! I was never told this upon signing up and the business will tell you it's in their contract and it probably is. But they don't hand you a copy of the contract, nor tell you about the 31 days when they are selling you on the sessions. One of the reasons why I didn't wish to continue in the first place was because a couple of my sessions were canceled (by them) and when I tried to reschedule, there were often days with only one or two options left that didn't work for me. I have gone back-and-forth with the company trying to resolve this and they have opted to squeeze me for the additional month instead of doing what I consider to be the right thing. read more

I have been a couple of StretchLabs, this one in Ventura by far is one of my favorites. My job requires me to stand and walk a lot, so my lower back is constantly sore and ache, the flexologist was very patience and explained to me during the demo. She also taught me a couple of stretches I could do at home. At the end of the demo, I have signed up a 50 min twice a week sessions and become one of their founding members!
