I love this studio so much, I can't even put it into words. Spin is a workout, rave/dance party, therapy, and affirmations, packed into the most fun 45 mins of your life! I was nervous for my first class but Ali, the energetic bad ass owner, guided me through setting up my bike and made sure I was set up properly. Pam kicked class off with a safety talk and demonstration of the moves we'd be doing. That first class was wild but you leave feeling so good, like if you can make it through a class, you can do anything! I appreciate that you're encouraged to do whatever your body needs like taking breaks, skipping choreo, staying seated the whole time, any modifications. Fitness places can be intimidating but the entire movement crew PLUS every person who cycles here is fun, warm and welcoming. I leave classes drenched in sweat, full of endorphins, and always looking forward to booking my next class. The studio is very cute, with a seating area, tea/coffee, and a huge bonus room for stretching/yoga/weights/selfies! There is street parking on Main, laurel, or poli. Ali, you've built an amazing community. Ali, Pam, manny, Norman, Amanda, kayli, you're all great instructors with amazing taste in music! I haven't attended any of Christina's classes yet but I'm sure she's a rockstar too.

I underwent a bilateral mastectomy, and went through another 10 (yes 10) reconstructive surgeries over the course of two years and topped that off with spinal fusion 4 years ago. I had just turned sixty and honestly felt I was forever doomed to a weak, shapeless body. I was shy and embarrassed. But from the moment I walked into Fit Buddha, everything shifted. The space was welcoming, the instructors were warm and encouraging, and the energy was pure empowerment. They met me exactly where I was--physically and emotionally--and helped me build strength I thought I'd lost forever. Slowly, class by class, I began to feel muscles I hadn't felt in years waking up again. I started standing taller, moving with more confidence, and, dare I say it, feeling powerful. This isn't just a workout--it's a healing journey wrapped in sweat and trembling muscles. The Lagree method is no joke (your glutes will write you angry letters), but it's also deeply transformative. I am stronger, leaner, and more connected to my body than I ever was in my 30s or 40s. And the best part? I now look forward to movement. I'm no longer working out to punish my body--I'm showing up to honor it. To anyone who feels like their best days are behind them, or that they're too far gone to make a change--please hear me: you are not. Fit Buddha helped me reclaim my strength, my confidence, and my joy. And for that, I will be forever grateful. So thank you Marcus, Ava and all of your amazing instructors!

At first glance the studio seems to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Once class began, she demonstrated and explained each move clearly. We had a small group so she regularly checked on each person to make sure our form was correct. This course turned out to be more challenging than I expected. It was recommended by the instructor to take a few beginners courses until you're more familiar and comfortable with using the megareformer. Overall it was a good workout, would definitely consider attending another class.

Amazing, family-owned local gym!…read more I'm not usually into working out, but I wanted to get in shape for my upcoming wedding. My fiancé and I decided to try personal training at Boss Fitness, and now we're completely hooked. The owner, Mario, is fantastic--he creates workouts that are both effective and genuinely fun. Shortly after we started, I injured my Achilles (not at the gym), and I was worried I'd have to stop training altogether. Mario was incredibly accommodating and modified everything so I could keep working out safely without making the injury worse. We've absolutely loved our experience with personal training here and are even considering continuing with group classes after the wedding. So grateful we found Boss Fitness!

I started personal training with Ella Hall in the spring of 2025, and it was one of the best decisions I've made for my health. After years of burnout, I needed a program that would help rehabilitate my body, rebuild strength, and support hormone balance. Ella customized every training session to my needs and goals, and she was incredibly encouraging. She checked in after workouts, helped me understand my form, and supported me as my body adjusted and began the recomposition process. Her guidance made a huge difference in helping me stay consistent and prevent injury. After several months of personal training, I had the strength and confidence to join BossFit's group fitness classes, which are excellent! All the trainers are knowledgeable, motivating, and attentive. The owners, Mario and Stephanie, have clearly put a lot of care and intention into what they've co-created. It truly shows in the positive environment and healthy, welcoming community they've cultivated.

The…read moreproblem is that I've NEVER liked any of the traditional types of Cardio you find on the gym floor. It wasn't until my Sister suggested to me that I should try Zumba as a form of Fitness/Cardio, thinking I would actually enjoy making "dance" the solution for getting my Cardio in. She was RIGHT! That 1 hour of nonstop dancing is the most effective cardio exercise I've ever done. My first experience with Zumba was at the gym in which I was doing my weight training. The atmosphere was fine but, definitely a more subdued "gym atmosphere." One day a woman I'd met there told me that I should try Danzar stating it was "more fun." I thought, "More fun?!...than this!?" This I had to see for myself! The following week I went to Danzar and found out she was RIGHT. The atmosphere was much more communal and that of a 1 hour Dance Party. The energy was off the hook and it was clear the folks there had forged a wonderful connection with Danzar and each other. I've been a regular there ever since! When you are gathered together with a large group of people, moving in harmony with one another to an insanely infectious rhythm, you feel you are all part of a tribe. A tribe forged by joy! This is Danzar! If you've ever thought of trying out Zumba, come to where you'll have the richest experience. Come with me to Danzar and dance for JOY!

F45 is a cardio/resistance training blend. For an intro offer of $25 for 5 classes, I decided to see if this place would kick my butt, too. I met one of the instructors, Cara, who was very helpful and showed me around the place. There's a Pilates class in the back room and a sauna that you can use if you join for the F45 membership, plus an extra fee. Cara explained that the screens would show the movements we were to mirror, but she also told me to go at my own pace and helped me with my form during several of the stations. I went around the room 3 times (15 minutes total, 45 seconds at each station plus 15 seconds to transition to the next station) to get in a very sweaty 45-minute workout. I used to think I was in decent shape. F45 training laughed in my face as I prayed for the 45-second exercise to end, so I could transition to another 45-second exercise that I also wished were over. Somehow, I made it through the workout, humbled. This place is high energy and definitely challenges you mentally and physically. I look forward to continuing my F45 training journey!

There are two main reasons why I give F45 Training a Five Star rating…read more The first reason: these workouts aren't boring. That's super important because most exercise bores me. And if it's boring, I'm not going to want to do it. But that's never an issue at F45. I've found every session to be different enough that I never get bored. The classes are really well-designed. You know when you sign up what the focus of your class will be. There are usually 10 stations that you complete in 45 minutes, but the exercises at each station are different every class. Each station has two different exercises, typically one for the upper body, one for the lower body. You can choose to do either or both. The second, and most important, reason I give this gym a Five Star Rating is the trainers that work here. Especially the early morning staff, Josie, Lauren and Sarah. There are usually at least two trainers working every class. They continuously circulate around the room, so you never have to wait long for one to come by and check to see if your form is correct or if you need a modification. If you have difficulty doing an exercise, a trainer will instantly modify it or give you an alternative exercise. And that's another reason F45 gets 5 stars from me. See, I can actually do very few of the exercises as demonstrated. I need modifications at almost every station. But I know that in less than a minute a trainer will pass by and quickly modify the activity into something I can actually do. So, I always get a great workout here. F45 Training really is a great place to workout. The trainers that work here are incredibly supportive. There is a really positive, high energy, vibe here. Sessions often end with people high-fiving each other. I love that! Mikey C says: I highly recommend F45 Training!
