While my exercise coach location offers some stretching, I started researching and found a StretchLab near me with great reviews. I found some promotions, and I jumped on an introductory offer to try the place out while I determined whether or not I should join the StretchLab and if so, how often. I found a promotion online for a $59 introductory offer that gets you a 50 minute one-on-one assisted stretching session with a certified Flexologist and includes a mobility assessment designed to improve flexibility and release tension. As this is only available for first-time clients, I jumped at this offer, which was typically $100-120 without any promotion. There were also special Black Friday deals which offered great savings. The problem for me is that I didn't know what I needed yet. They even offered a 25 minute first-time session for only $10 (though I wanted the 50 minute session). If you look online now though, there is a new 50 minute session, assessment, and grip socks for a low price of only $50. Mine didn't even come with grip socks, which are required, so I had to find some. Great deal for someone just trying them out (like me last month)! Right when I made my first inquiry and then appointment, I had someone reaching out to me directly from this location through text and phone, and they made sure all of my questions were answered. They also prepared me with having grip socks and knowing what to expect on my first visit. When I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment, I had two staff members giving me a tour and walking me through the experience. They even had my name on a welcome sign! Now that I know I like that, I'll be ready to jump at the StretchLab in the future; however, the price is quite high at a regular price, and I also can get heavily discounted stretches at my exercise coach, where the coaches have been trained, too. I will probably end up doing both over time and balancing them with my own stretching at home and my massage therapy appointment. Regardless, the StretchLab is a fine-tuned process with talented individuals and a great location with fabulous amenities. Though I have only been to the one appointment so far (and that was only a few weeks ago), I highly recommend the StretchLab for anyone looking for such an experience.

I decided to go to the nearby StretchLab Scottsdale Ranch to see if I can get back on track. I saw Flexologist Giselle for a 50 min one-on-one stretch session. After the initial greet and meet, the session started with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) squat test evaluation to assess my flexibility/mobility. The squat test gave Giselle an understanding of my issues and what muscle groups required more focused attention. I was impressed with how effective the assisted full body stretching session touched all the major muscle groups and how Giselle was able to apply more attention to my issue areas. StretchLab was easy to find, there was ample free parking, friendly and welcoming staff, and the studio had a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I was a monthly member here for about five months. When I decided to cancel, I went in person and…read moreclearly asked to do so. Instead of processing the cancellation, the front desk employee repeatedly pushed me to put the membership on hold and continued selling me on that option. After spending far too much time going back and forth and needing to leave, I reluctantly agreed to a short hold just to end the conversation. Nothing was signed, and I was told I would be notified before the membership became active again. That did not happen. Two months later, my membership was reactivated without notice and my bank account was charged. I had not used the service and only discovered the charge while reviewing my statement. I returned in person to cancel (again) and was once again met with sales pressure before they finally processed the cancellation. They refused to refund the charge for the unused month, despite the lack of notification. After being a good, paying customer for five months, this experience was extremely disappointing. Billing and cancellation practices are unclear and poorly communicated. Proceed with caution if you sign up.

They make you believe you are signing up for a certain number of sessions and it ends up being like trying to break free of a gym membership. I ended up with a spine injury, not caused by them, but my doctor told me I was done with them. I gave my notice in May that I would not be back and in August I started getting hit with a 'membership' fee. I was told that my membership was not cancelled when I requested it but paused and they were taking another month because I didn't give 30 days notice. I now have officially given my 30 days and if they decide to do this again they will be dealing with the media. They did not consider my medical condition a termination of my membership. They need to clean up their business practices.

I worked with Austin years ago when he had another employer and stayed in touch... So when I had a super painful pickleball injury, he was one of the first people I reached out to. I was pleased that he was able to fit me into his busy schedule with short notice and 24 hours after my injury, I felt a major improvement! I hobbled into PT3 unsure of what to expect, and admittedly wasn't pleased when I learned that they don't accept insurance, but the facility, the one-on-one attention, and that vibration modality that others have mentioned, were super worth it! Austin is amazing with not only identifying the pain, but explaining the injury in layman's terms and also what the patient can do to improve. He connects with each patient and has a ton of experience as an athlete and a PT. He is patient and kind. We were members here for years. I am an early riser and used it to train very early a.m.'s. a few…read moretimes a week. It served its purpose for that for a few years but over the past 2 years has become too creepy for us. Now, this isn't really this locations fault, but I experienced this here and mentioned to management. Seems the new trend for people in vans and living in cars to use these anytime gyms as their grooming stops. Either traveling and see a few locals who live in their cars do this. I'd see them coming in very early, say 3:30am to like 5a.m. simply to use the showers and bathrooms. They come in with their huge beach bags and toiletries, use the bathrooms for like 20-30 minutes at a shot. Then leave. Also see travelers with out of town plates stopping in to do the same things. Some sleeping in the parking lots when I arrive. They even sit in their cars and stare at you as you pull up and walk in. I had a phone call and was in my truck for like 15 minutes and this guy with a towel over his head, simply his eyes looking out staring at me for the entire, with out of state plates. Simply got too creepy for us.
