Apparently, the owner does not know about running a business, which makes sense because there's a high turnover here. There is always a new receptionist whenever I go, and they are ALWAYS late. I originally signed up with General Manager Samual Reeder and loved the flexologist Tabitha. I had a few sessions with Tabitha before she quit. She was full of knowledge and helped me with stretching. After Tabitha quit, I was disappointed because I had a new flexologist who could have been more knowledgeable. He used one of those massage guns you can buy on Amazon to kill some time, which I thought was a waste of my subscription, so I informed the General Manager, Samual, about it. I had booked with Alyssa, who's also fantastic, but she's typically always booked. I booked with Lori on Friday 9/1/23. I showed up early as usual and waited 15 minutes. The receptionist told me Lori wouldn't be coming in, so it was a complete waste of my time and not being notified beforehand that Lori wouldn't be there. I emailed Samuel about this (The GM) and he didn't apologize! I called him out for NOT apologizing. I'll attach a screenshot. I heard SO many great things about Stretchlab, but avoid this location at all costs.

I only have one pass left out of the five, but I've enjoyed coming here so much. The vibe is so fun & welcoming! I've also gone here alone, and have totally felt comfortable because the instructors foster a nice bond with the class. The level of difficulty can vary depending on the instructor. However, any and everyone is encouraged to participate, take a break when they need to, drink water at any time, etc! I never feel pressured to follow the moves exactly as they are. Instead, I just have fun with it and laugh at myself when I'd mess up - the instructors are just that fun and friendly! This is located kind of in an isolated corner off the 51 exit. There is plenty of parking and while the area might seem deserted, there's a sign outside so you'll find it right away.

Concrete floors combined with my bad feet, can't be a good outcome. No instructions just loud music and you follow along. If all you want is an hour of movement and kind of dancing, it is that. All age ranges and ability levels and plenty of potential for injuries with no cautions about them. Definitely a lot of movement.

Kathy listened to my needs and catered to my comfort to an amazing degree! I mentioned that my severe TMJ had been flaring up & bothering me and she displayed her expert training on that and my pain completely dissipated after no more than a couple minutes her pressure point therapy! I was amazed as it was way more effective and the results were more quickly achieved than any Physical Therapist I've seen for my TMJ issues! Kathy was respectful and professional yet warm and friendly. She may look tiny but she is mighty and has a ton of strength in those hands! I highly recommend visiting this spa and requesting this gal! The spa itself was a bit difficult to pinpoint within the resort so definitely call ahead to get the directions on where to park or you'll waste time driving around trying to find it and you don't want to miss any precious minutes of massage time lol. The spa itself was very nice with a clean and calm atmosphere. The massage table was the most comfortable one (or equivalent to) that I have laid on and did come with the option to be heated. However, the room was comfortable enough without it. They provide you a white robe and flip flops to change into with a locker and (for the particular couples massage we got with the Groupon my sister in law gifted me) we were also given our choice of sparkling water or champagne following the massage. The champagne was a fantastic way to end the experience! Just make sure you hydrate first so the bubbly doesn't give you a headache after.

Earlier this year, I tried to use a guest pass on my grandparents membership. I was unaware of how the process works, you know how instructions from grandparents can be. After a few phone calls I admit the mixup was on our end and they no longer have their membership so I continue to purchase a day pass, staff wasn't necessarily the most kind, but they were still professional. A few months later, I'm considering getting a membership since I'm on that side of town more often, the person that reached out to me stated that there's a note on my profile that I gave a fake name, and continued to tell me twice that after the enrollment fee fees and monthly fee fees, it probably would not be worth it for me to become a member. The vibe seemed to push that she did not want me to be a member. She was still professional, but it left a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel unwelcome to join. A shame because my best friend was looking to join the same week as me and now will not.

I like that the group class size is small so you get extra attention with form corrections if needed, especially since I'm hypermobile. I was able to continue pilates during my pregnancy and Alexis always gave me modifications and made sure I was doing the exercises safely. Pilates definitely helped during the birthing process and for my recovery. I also really like that we use different equipment and change up the exercises so no two classes are exactly the same.
