There's plenty of equipment to go around, and even during peak hours you rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes to use a machine, bench, or squat rack. The gym is also exceptionally clean; it's clear the owners take pride in the space, because you'll barely find a speck of dirt or even a smudge on the mirrors. The owners, Norm and Joanna, are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They're also very knowledgeable trainers who offer personalized training sessions tailored to your individual goals. What Titan Gym may lack in size, it more than makes up for with its sense of community. The members are incredibly welcoming and diverse--ranging from college students and young professionals to parents and older adults staying active in their later years. It's a place that supports both casual gym-goers and serious lifters alike (including a member who recently placed first in a state powerlifting competition). You also won't find the stereotypical "gym bro" atmosphere here--people are respectful of each other's space, time, and noise levels. The people here also organize activities outside the gym as well, ranging from Spartan races and marathons to casual hikes, beer festivals, concerts, and even weekend gaming. At the time of writing this review, Titan Gym is located in Alamo Ranch, though they plan to move to a much larger facility later this year (close to the Santikos Theatre). That will be a great step forward, as the current space can feel a little cramped in certain areas. Still, even in its current form, Titan Gym manages to create an environment that feels welcoming, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. I'm personally a Texas transplant, and finding this gym went a long way to making this place a new home.

The studio is warm and inviting and the classes aren't too big, it's such a comfortable environment. The instructors here are exceptional! They really listen and take the time to understand your individual needs, offering modifications to ensure that each class meets you where you are, both mentally and physically. Visiting from the Reston, VA location -- which is my new home studio…read more Came here twice, both on the week of Christmas. Last visited: Dec' 23. My first coach was Andre, who was chill and laid back. He was friendly and down to earth, and had a really cool and relatable way of explaining the template and especially the floor exercises. Probably one of the easiest to understand and friendliest coaches I've had at Orangetheory Fitness. My second coach was Tiffany. This was on the next day, and a little later in the morning. Actually, it was the same day as the Everest signature challenge. I was not prepared for that or even know about it going in, but I did my best. Got a spot on the leaderboard after all. The first work out was a hardcore endurance run, which helped build up my endurance and helped especially the next day with Everest challenge (even though I didn't know about it, lol). It was a little more manageable thanks to the endurance training the day before, I believe. Also, forgot to mention but they have the newer treadmills at this location in Alamo Ranch. You know, the shiny new ones that go up to 15 MPH. They have those. I certainly remember, because I went all-out at an intensity somewhere between 12 MPH and 15 MPH, on at least one occasion. Anyway, I thought coach and front desk were both amicable and friendly in general. Had good experience overall. Also, they were handing out free Builders Plant Protein bars, so I snagged a couple of them for post-workout muscle recovery. Even if those things are overall not good for weight loss, especially as they have a ton of fat and added sugar. I wish they would give out healthier protein bars, like RXBar or similar, which has all-natural ingredients. Anyways, I enjoyed it here at the studio in Alamo Ranch at the San Antonio, TX location. Convenient times and location, in my case. I would recommend this studio, as overall my experience was positive. Hopefully will be back sometime in the future.

UPDATE: On Wednesday, 3/4/26, I received a phone call from Lori Ann Garcia-Alvarado, Manager for…read morethe Bandera Rd location. We went over everything that had transpired, since the previous Friday, and she apologized for her massively misinformed staff, regarding the membership agreement, and their lack of compassion. She confirmed that clients have 3 business days to cancel an agreement, and Sunday is not considered as a business day. She cancelled the membership that I erroneously signed up for. What I can say now, is 1) Lori Ann Garcia-Alvarado does in fact care about protecting people and the franchise, 2) She is well informed and compassionate, 3) Don't back down when you know you are being wronged, there are good informed people who will help you, like Lori Ann. I very much appreciate the time she took to call and email me almost immediately after she received my email, rectify the situation, and discuss the wrong doings with her staff. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! On Friday, 02/28/2026, I received a text from HOTWORX with the option to sign up for $1 to activate "your SPRING BODY" and replied $1, to activate my membership. On Saturday, 03/01/2026, I received another text telling me to login and sign the agreement, which I did. As soon as I went into the app, I realized that I erroneously signed up for the wrong location, which is 7010 W Loop 1604 Ste 105, San Antonio, TX 78254 Ph 210-866-9600, and is in a different city than where I live (41 miles away and a 1 hour drive). I had also cancelled a membership with that same location 3 years ago because of the move. As soon as I realized my error, on Saturday 03/01/2026, I immediately called the San Antonio Alamo Ranch location, 210-866-9600, to get help with cancelling the contract that I signed in error just moments earlier. The staff was unavailable when I called, at 3:43 p.m. CST, so I left a voice message explaining the issue, gave my phone # and name, and asked for help in cancelling that location - which I still have not received a return call from. My intention was to join the HOTWORX location near me, which is 2188 TX-46 Suite 108, New Braunfels, TX 78132 Phone 830-310-4424. The Alamo Ranch location in San Antonio has me set up on a plan to use any location, "Sweat Elite" I believe, however, that plan is currently not in by budget which is why I attempted to cancel immediately. I am the caregiver for my elderly father, a Military Veteran who lives with my husband and I, as he has prostate and liver cancer. This is not a sob-story, it is the truth. I thought I had joined my local location, to relieve stress when I am not having to take him to chemo treatments or tend to his medical needs. Now, today, I am more financially and emotionally stressed than I was before Friday. I called the Alamo Ranch location in San Antonio again today, Tuesday 03/03/2026, and while speaking with "Betsy" and the General Manager "Z", I was spoken down to and received a belittling response and absolutely no grace, care, assistance, or understanding with my error and financial concern. The response was cold and belittling "You get no grace and can pay $99 today if you want to cancel."...when I only made the error 3 days ago. I sent this same message to the Alamo Ranch franchise owner via their website and have attempted to contact corporate via email...BEGGING for grace and the assistance that I was seeking since Saturday, when I realized the error that I had made.
