When I heard that In-Shape Fitness has childcare facilities, I decided to give it a try. I toured…read morethree different locations and settled on Roseville even though it was further away from my home, because the childcare space was bright, clean and the staff are so friendly. There are always plenty of staff in the childcare for both big kids and babies. I immediately took advantage of the free personal training session on my first visit. I worked with Liz. I clicked with her right away because she specifically cared about MY goals for my fitness. I wanted to turn my health around so that I could increase my healthy lifespan with my two kids. I just had a baby at 40 and was very overweight and incapable of many physical functions that I consider important. In my first month working out with Liz, I gained 6 pounds of muscle and lost 8 pounds of fat. I felt physically strong and capable, but also mentally strong because I was confronting something embarrassing for myself but pushing through. After some months I switched to other trainers because Liz is actually the training boss lol. I had been spoiled... but I was very happy with Eric and Alex who taught me new exercises and were just as knowledgeable and caring as Liz. I stuck with Alex for the rest of my time at In-Shape Roseville. He always estimated my ability just right. He would never give me more than I could do, but also not less. I pushed it every single session and got stronger and stronger. Every session was packed with activity and I felt like my time (and money) was being fully valued. From the moment I would walk into the gym until I left, I was making a huge impact on my health and future. Over six or seven months, I spent between two and six hours at the gym every week. I know for certain that putting in that time gained me years with my kids down the road. Unfortunately I moved out of county and have switched to a new local gym, but I now have a knowledge and skill set to continue on my own. It's no overstatement to say In Shape Roseville changed or even saved my life. Every staff member helped me. Also, every member is nice. There's no awkwardness or feeling fat there. Everyone is super nice and down to earth, all ages and all body types. Special thanks to Carmen, James, Nayel, Eric, the beautiful lady trainer that moved to Nevada and Raymund. Especially for Liz and Alex, I know that I will achieve my fitness goals and live a long healthy life with my family from what you taught me and what you enabled me to prove to myself.

VERY Recent Member: Experience on August 19th at 10.30am I…read moremet a most ugly personality - a "Gabby" at the front desk at In-shape Fitness. That is what she said her name was, she did not have a name tag on. She informed me she was the General Manager quite haughtily. I have never seen her there before, while I have interacted with others at the gym and bought training sessions with two Training Instructors, who were very nice. Gabby spoke rudely and in an aggressive manner in responding to my requests/inquiries and when I told her so, she was even more rude and aggressive. She has no Customer Service skills whatsoever. I did not raise my voice, assault her, or damage any property. She was annoyed with me for pointing out that she was being rude, and threatened to call the police, and gloated that it would be on my record forever if she did so!! What a petty, ultra aggressive, uncouth way for a Service Person to behave. And especially in a community like Roseville. I believe that Inshape Fitness and Gabby need to make an apology to me. @Kerri J, Business Manager Did you check with Gabby if I had given her due cause to call the police? She did say it is company policy to tell me that I can use my phone to do what I was asking her to do. Is it company policy to call the police, because an employee is irritable, without due cause? I didn't even have a handbag and I am a small made woman. Calling the police means, guns, and innocent bystanders being at risk. There are minors who frequent the gym. I had a minor on my membership. Does she enjoy putting a blemish on their record. Are your employees so careless to cause such situations without due cause? This is why I left, without telling her to go ahead and call the police, because I had done nothing wrong for a police charge. Your General Manager showed lack of reasoning and absurdity. I don't wish to get drawn into more of the same. So if you and Gabby wish to apologize for such a brazenly absurd threat without due cause, you can do so here.

Jenny and Jolene Chanco provide top quality service and carefully assess each participant in their classes, helping you best achieve your goal. Not only that, the other instructors, such as Isaac and AJ, add even more of a sports oriented challenge if you are looking to improve yourself in the field of your interest. In the past year, the community has shown how much they value each other as well. Many members will also motivate each other to be our best, sometimes even helping us get to the next level. The community reflects a lot of the values that the gym has worked hard to cultivate, and I genuinely hope to participate with them this following year.

What an awesome spot in the Roseville area!…read more I was visiting a friend in Sacramento, and decided to get a workout together on a Sunday morning. She took me to her gym at Positive Impact! There were a few folks there in the morning. Someone was also cleaning the gym too. She was really doing a great job cleaning EVERYTHING. Kudos to her. First off, vibes are immaculate. Purple is one of my favorite colors, so when the lights turn on, it is an awesome setting to be in. High ceilings and a wide array of equipment. Treadmills, assault bikes, box jumps, free weights, barbells, mats, and more. The punchbag set up seem super interesting to me, so definitely interested in seeing them used in action. Classes are available too. I hope timing works out that next time I'm in the area, I can try a class out! A quick glance on their website, looks like they have a free "60-min Body Transformation Game Plan Session" (50 available) as of Mar'23. Definitely a great way to get your foot in the door to see if this spot is for you. Two bathrooms and water fountain available on site. Easy parking in the plaza, which is also a plus. Shoutout to Jenny and Joleen, an awesome mother + daughter combo, for creating this establishment and safe space for folks to improve their lifestyles!
