I highly recommend David with transformation fitness…read more I am very quiet and anxious and doing new things is really hard. I really wanted to gain confidence in a gym setting so I reached out to David. I called and we set up a meeting to discuss goals and expectations at his facility. When I arrived I was so nervous! He was so nice and patient with my axiety and everything went well. I started the sessions and I quickly gained confidence being in a gym environment. Every person that walks through the doors are so nice, supportive and respectful of each other. It is a group setting, but everyone has their own goals. He writes personalized exercises on a whiteboard and works with each person individually. No one is doing the same exercises as anyone else nor do you do the same exercise each visit. David demonstrates the exercise and ensures proper form. He explains what the target areas are and what you should be feeling. He also rotates from person to person to give you time to do your thing but keeps checking on you to make sure everything is going okay. He does include tension releasing techniques/exercise's which is a huge plus if you have tension or pain in any areas. Bonus: He provided two meal plans. All in all, great experience!

I've paid way more for way less at other gyms, so Chuze is definitely worth the monthly cost. My ONE desire: extended hours! I hope and pray member demand keeps growing so they can stay open later, because closing at 8 PM on weekends is NO BUENO . Otherwise, I love this gym and their super awesome, very friendly staff!

This review is not for the gym itself- which is lovely in every way. It is an about one class…read moreexperience specifically. This morning I decided to take a Pilates class from Melika. I have gone to every other instructor and I have loved every class- So Naturally I really wanted to enjoy this class because the workout itself was genuinely good and challenging, and I definitely felt like I got a great Pilates workout in. Unfortunately, I found some of the instructor's commentary throughout class pretty uncomfortable and distracting. There were several comments made about not liking when men attend her classes because they grunt and sweat too much, along with jokes about being unhappy when men are in certain classes. It wasn't just one passing joke--it came up multiple times, which started to make the overall atmosphere feel unnecessarily negative. I also think it's worth remembering that exercise isn't always quiet or pretty--people sweat, breathe heavily, and sometimes make noises when they're physically exerting themselves, regardless of gender. I completely understand joking around and bringing personality into a class, and I actually think that can make a workout more fun. But I also think a gym should be a space where everyone feels comfortable walking into a class, whether they're a man, a woman, or anyone in between. I would hate for someone to try Pilates for the first time and hear comments that make them feel like they aren't wanted there. At one point, the instructor even joked about being able to imagine someone leaving a negative review about her and said that she just has to speak from her heart. I respect being yourself, but I think there's also a difference between how we joke with friends and how we speak when we're leading a class in a professional setting. The workout itself was good, which is why this was disappointing. I left feeling like I had gotten a great workout physically, but the overall vibe of the class made me feel more uncomfortable than uplifted. I think the class would have been significantly more enjoyable with less commentary about who should or shouldn't be in the room and more of that energy directed toward encouraging everyone who showed up to work out.

Happy 1 year Birthday GTI! My gift to you is this yelp review...I have been putting it off way too…read morelong now. I LOVE this place and it's location. I have been taking spinning classes under the instruction of Davidjon for a couple months now, and would probably look a little different if I attended regularly. But, hey it's my summer right now and I have vacations to go on and mornings to sleep away. Davidjon is an awesome, motivating instructor that came from a bigger gym chain before he opened this business. There are spinning classes 2 times a day all week and one on Saturday. He also does private personal training sessions as well. See his website for more details! He also gives quite an incentive if you are signing up for classes for the first time. Also, if you want to check out a spin class the first class is FREE! So, what have you got to lose? As for spinning itself, it's an amazing workout! If you haven't tried it you are seriously missing out! The music selection is awesome and gets me going and motivated to work out hard during the 6am hour, which is normally when I attend. The 6pm classes are pretty crowded, which is why I avoid them. Plus, the traffic on Sunrise is a disaster at that time. What's also cool is that on my way there in the morning, I get to drive through the cute town of Fair Oaks and I can hear the roosters crowing to greet me and wake me up! I am totally an advocate of local businesses and I am so glad I found this place. I was just exploring the neighborhood and saw the big sign outside that read SPINNING. I have always found the gym intimidating and working out a chore, but Angela has taken away the intimidation and created workouts that I enjoy doing. As someone who used to go to public gyms often, Angela provides tips and tricks to working out comfortably in a public setting. The workouts she creates for you have a variety of exercises, so you aren't doing the same ones every time. She also understands that you aren't always going to be motivated to go to the gym and has created workouts that can be done at home. Angela encourages you to listen to your body, so you do not injure yourself by lifting too much weight or using improper form. Angela demonstrates the correct form before having you perform the exercise, but also provides immediate feedback if she sees incorrect form. I really appreciated this as I have injured my back before and was scared to reinjure it.
