I'm in complete disbelief with this gym. Honestly really disappointed. I really wanted to check out…read moretheir gym memberships as they are open 24/7. Patrick the owner ? Reaches out. Wait 15 min see if he comes. 9:30am. Reached out to the owner and he never even bothered almost 1 week after to even apologize for the inconvenience. What a joke !!!!!

The small group trainings were extra and not a contracted service- I paused the group trainings due to illness in the family. Although I discussed with the manager the pause on group training sessions and charges as I was taking a LOA to care for sick family, they continued to charge me monthly. I brought it to the manages attention, month after month, with the response of "oh- so sorry, we will reimburse you." Well, needless to say I was never reimbursed, over $500 in charges. I went back and forth with them for several more months with the informed plan to refund me, and it never happened. Eventually they stopped returning my calls/texts. I ended up cancelling my membership. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and no response from them. I sent them letter in the mail requesting refund, and they opened it, put it in a new envelope and sent it back to me.

I was visiting Massachusetts over Christmas and was looking for a weightlifting gym where I could…read moretrain. Mary answered the phone when I called and invited me to come by. Im super glad I was able to find this place! When I got there, she warmly greeted me and made sure I had everything I needed, even asking me if the music was to my liking (it was!). This is an extremely well-equipped weightlifting gym with 8 full size platforms, Olympic bars, bumper plates, power racks, blocks, and chalk stands. Thinhs were super well organized, even down to the order to the plates. Throw in a few Hookgrip / ATG / USA Weightlifting banners and I was good to go! The first thing Mary had me do were some overhead squats on a vibrating plate to loosen up my muscles. Afterwards, I got on the platform and did a few snatches with just the bar. She mentioned there would be a class soon and, not wanting to miss out on coaching, I gladly agreed to take the class. Mary was super attentive and gave her full attention to watching each lifter perform the complexes she programmed. Each lift was videotaped on an iPad, and between lifts, Mary reviewed the footage with me 1 on 1 to identify issues with my form. I could see exactly what she was talking about, and fixing these problems really helped me extend and catch more confidently. Needless to say, I absolutely love this visual approach to coaching, and her advice was very easy to understand. I only wish that I had more time to spend at this gym. Their drop-in rate is $20, or $30 to drop-in and take a class, which I think is very reasonable given the quality of the coaching and how nice the facility is. I'll definitely be back to visit when I am in the area again!

So, first things first, This studio has moved to 580 Kelly Blvd. N. Attleboro. The new location is…read moredirectly across the street from the Volkswagen dealership and in the back lot directly behind T & Nails Spa. They also have plenty of parking in close proximity to the studio entrance. The studio itself has plenty of cubby storage space in the lobby/check in area as well as the studio itself. They also have a gender neutral bathroom in the studio space. The studio itself is very modern, clean and spacious. They do you have some basic props available in the studio, however , they do recommend That students bring their own props when able. They offer a range of classes, the class packages, and a drop in class options are comparable in price with other nearby competitors. It should also be noted that classes are booked entirely online. The instructors I've met, thus far have been very welcoming, as are the other students. I hope this studio continues to gain popularity and has the option to expand into larger studio space in the future.

This is a great place to come if you are looking for a good, solid yoga class. Let's be honest,…read moreit's hard to find the class for just YOU, it is a very personal decision. Here's what I look for. I am an on again, off again yoga practitioner who has been to a variety of classes at yoga studios, health clubs and retreats. Me, personally, I love a technique driven class. The point of yoga, for me, is to connect with mind, body, spirit, and breath. When I look for a class I am seeking out a teacher who is going to respect that. I do not look at yoga as a work out. I look at it as a practice, something you do somewhat daily to connect to your body. In that respect, I think Open Doors in North Attleboro is right on target. They are small, personal, and very focused. I have been to only two classes so far and am looking forward to more. What to expect: a very warm, well kept, clean, small studio. It is one single room with cubbies for your personal items/ shoes. They have blocks, straps, mats (though most people, including myself have mats), sprays in house. This is a HOT yoga class. Be prepared. I have been to a few hot yoga classes before, this one is pretty moderate, but bring water and a towel. Altogether it is a REALLY good work out (as much as I hate to admit it, it's a nice bonus considering I was looking for yoga as a health benefit). So far I have only been to the moderate/beginner class with Susan. She is very descriptive and I need that. She is incredibly sensitive to new clients. It is all about learning to know yourself, your abilities, and your limits. One last technical note, look for small shopping center on route 1, in same shopping center as "Quan's Kitchen" and "Kumon Learning Center." They have good, economical deals, very nice facilities, and a really good staff. I'm hooked!
