It's SoulCycle. I love it. The studio and instructors are consistent with the high quality I expect of the brand!

Now by no means am I the spin fanatic or enthusiast but man I always feel great after a session!…read more The lady encourages me on the cycle and she's definitely the spear head of the spontaneous spin classes! Rev'd staff was very inviting, they help you get the bike set up, rent the clip on shoes for $3? I believe. (The lady booked on their website) and the session was $15 a bike reservation. I personally enjoyed the music selection, when city of angels came on, it was transcending me back to the memories of all the good times and that song played! I think I did pretty well for a noob, need to understand form and holding the core tight better but that'll come with practice. Made it to the end, there was plenty of build up spots where our instructor gave us a breather. I definitely think it's a great place to start at and they offer bunch of classes day and night. I'm sure there are tougher versions of the class but this one fit me just right!

Great HIIT workout ;) We spontaneously signed up last night for a 7am 45 min spin class for this morning. They offer mostly 45 min rides & it looks like from the schedule, 60 min ride classes occasionally. Check-in was super easy. One of the staff members checked us in upon arrival & helped us with shoes. They're $3 to rent here, which is on par with other competitors. Shoes can be added to cart online, as well, when you purchase rides + reserve bike. Now, onto the class itself! We rode to the beat of the music & like most other cycling classes, right foot dominant to chase the rhythm. Decent amount of choreo & LOTS of crunches. I've realized I really enjoy classes with choreo, so I personally appreciated it! Not the most choreo heavy class I've attended but it was still good. If you've never been to a spin class, music tends to be pretty loud. I found the music to be too loud here though; I like loud music (trust!) but it made it super difficult to hear cues from the instructor for switch in resistance, positions, etc). The class was very crunch-heavy, which I'm not used to. Typically only do crunches to one song but I believe it was ~3 songs throughout class? It was nice, something different! Overall, I did have lots of fun & am super glad I was able to make it to an early morning spin class here. I would for sure come back again... loved the energy & vibes. Plus, classes here are noticeably more reasonable than SoulCycle and others.

I took my first class about a month ago and my body was aching... but I LOVED IT! It was a bit difficult to keep up as a first time rider, with both trying to keep up with pedaling to the beat and getting the hang of choreography. My second time around, I felt way more comfortable and had more fun since I understood how the bike works. Now, I have just taken my third class at SoulCycle Chestnut Hill and I've even mustered up the courage to sit in the front row! This location is the best in Massachusetts. It is located in a plaza with plenty of parking available and the staff has always been friendly, as well as helpful. They have cycling shoes available for $4, if you do not have cycling shoes. My favorite instructor, by far, is Kara! Her classes are high energy and I have always felt super motivated when taking her classes . Keep in mind, SoulCycle is definitely more choreography heavy, compared to other spin studios but personally, I found myself enjoying Soul much more than other spin studios that incorporate less choreo. Highly recommend SoulCycle CNH!

The previous instructor was about to lock the door as I was 5 minutes late. She was kind enough to still let me in (5 minute grace period - so be forewarned). Since I am NOT a spinner she also helped me get clipped into my bike - which was so nice because the class already started and it was dark. The class itself???? AMAZING!!! I really do not like spin and will try to find any other workout if I can. But this place was close to my hotel and had the right time for my schedule. I am from Los Angeles (have tried SoulCycle and Cyclebar) but had to come to Foxboro to find the best class I have ever been to! EMILY is the BOMB!!!! She is that instructor everyone wish they had for EVERY class bc everyone would be in amazing shape!! Emily's positivity, energy and teaching to great music and using the music and her instruction to pump you up and keep you going was inspiring. I even thought that my 16-year old daughter would love the class (and to have such a thought for for someone who does not enjoy spin is saying something!). Though it was so so so hard to get up this morning, I'm so glad I did! ADDITION: Went again to Friday 6:00 am and Kaylin was just as good! So kind so motivating. I am used to classes having some good and some bad instructors. Kudos to Rev'd Foxboro for having consistently amazing instructors!

RipRides incorporates all of my favorite elements- stadium format, low lighting, diverse instructors with good music, and especially the individual computers on each bike that feed performance info to the big screens at the front. I love getting specific numbers on RPM or power ranges to shoot for during each song, and the color-coded effort levels (based on my own threshold levels, no one else's!) are a fun way to stay challenged. The RipRides Plus sessions are a great way to incorporate 20 minutes of manageable boot camp elements. Most of all, I appreciate the sense of community that has built up since the studio opened- most classes have everyone from people who seem to do a triathlon weekly to people who have never done a spin class before, and everyone is very welcoming of whomever shows up that day. I love some of the big studios in NYC and Back Bay too, but this is a much more economical and practical option and a great resource for the South Shore. P.S.- appreciate the towel service :-)

PRE-CLASS: I booked via ClassPass and they automatically slot you into one of the four front-most bikes closest to the instructor. Thinking that the spots would be way too close to the speakers, I opted for something a little further away in the first row. Shout-out to the wonderful girl working the front desk on Saturday morning, who helped me set up my bike to the right seat and handlebar height and also got me a pair of shoes when the pair I brought (SPD-SL) turned out to not be compatible with the pedals. CLASS: Pretty standard cycling class, heavy on the choreography. It took me a good chunk of the class to be able to follow along and try to match the moves with the beat, but it's also totally fine to just pedal without the moves. (That said, if you're more accustomed to outdoor cycling with greater resistance, the super high cadences where you're essentially bouncing up and down in your seat is going to feel extremely silly.) A much bigger issue: the music is SO loud. Like painfully, blasting loud. Next time, I'm going to bring ear plugs. INSTRUCTOR: I liked the playlist and I thought Allie did a good job of mixing up the various cadences. Also seriously impressed by how much time she spent on the bike with us while shouting encouragement and cues - I was out of breath just following along. Lots of regulars. I was a newbie and not expecting her to go out of her way to say hi, especially when the class was crowded, but at one point she asked, a few minutes into class, if anyone was new and one person raised their hand and ... that was it. COMPETITIVE: Nope. The bikes don't even have the monitors showing RPM, time, or distance, so you can truly zone out. On the other hand, if you're into stats or tracking progress other than by feel, this was an obvious absence. FACILITIES: Lockers, with cubbies to put your shoes. I counted four showers with toiletries. However, the place on a weekend morning was an absolute zoo with multiple classes starting/ending at the same time. I imagine there would've been a line for a shower and opted for a stinky, sweaty car ride back home. PARKING: Lots of street options and, right behind the studio, the Waban Street parking lot, with dirt-cheap parking. Download the Passport app so you can pay w/o quarters. OVERALL: 9/10. Good for beginners and regulars alike. If you're at all self-conscious of the dance moves, the bikes in the back row are a good idea (but more importantly, no one is paying attention to anything except themselves so you might as well have fun).
