I found Angela's studio through yelp and contacted her immediately. For me it was great to hear Angela was Polestar qualified, as my teacher in the UK is also Polestar trained! I am currently pregnant so wanted to make sure she was comfortable working with me. She replied shortly after and told me she's been working with someone who is due in the coming weeks. I immediately signed up for a class for the 1st day I was in town. Angela warmly welcomed me to her lovely and clean studio. She grabbed all my details and we got started. I signed up for an equipment class so expected more folks to turn up. However, she said she didn't have a minimum class size so I'd be getting a 1:1! It was a fantastic surprise. I had an amazing session with Angela. She kept me working hard the entire time. It was just what I needed after a long haul flight. I can't wait to get to my next class!

The studio was clean & the hot yoga was HOT which is all I look for! Keep in mind, every studio practices differently. I was treated with open arms and kindness. The studio is very clean and they have strict but reasonable rules that patrons follow (see their website). I highly recommend a heavy towel, water and a mat. There is 1 bathroom and it includes a shower, which is spotless. When the class begins it seems innocent, a little sweaty and the instructor starts off easy. By the end of class I was dripping like I walked through the splash zone of an amusement park. The word 'hot' in hot yoga is an understatement. I'm pretty sure hell is only a few degrees higher. I knew I could leave at any time but momma didn't raise a quitter. I made it through! My body felt rejuvenated compared to its normal self, but I can't put myself through that heat again. Wow, that was HOT.

I visit Riverton about once a year from the west coast where I regularly practice yoga and am so happy there's a yoga studio here that I can walk to! I've taken Lynn's All Levels class twice over the past year and her energy level is great and she is welcoming, open, & friendly. There's a great sense of community at the studio and a range of abilities and body types - I was very impressed yesterday that there were two men in the class! The all-levels class is fairly challenging at times and, like many flow classes, moves pretty fast (I'm used to holding poses longer and resting more often), but both classes have been small enough that she can give newbies personal attention. The best part is that at the end, during shivasana, she goes around and gently rubs each person's neck and presses down on your shoulders for a great little release. Go to YogaTree! I want it to be here for a long time, because I keep coming back to Riverton!
