When you come to Vicious Cycle expect to get a killer spin workout! The energy in the room will motivate you to work beyond your comfort zone. Devon's classes are GREAT! She will inspire, motivate and challenge you to be your best self - on the bike and off the bike! Her classes will make your stronger each time you go! Class starts with a warm up, then expect to be challenged throughout the workout with hills and to push yourself through a sprint. Unlike other studios, you could tell Devon put time into her playlists and found remixes and beats that matched her moves rather than using a standard Spotify playlist. Always a great workout and anticipate to be a sweaty mess by the end! read more

After the fall biking season halted with a foot of snow and sub-freezing temps, I was looking for a place to keep my wheels turning. Upon a recommendation of a friend, I stopped into The Vicious Cycle. I was immediately impressed with the hometown feel of the facility and the staff. I was also impressed that the clients were arriving and leaving with a smile on their face. After only my second class, the owner was already greeting me by name (I must be that much of a trouble maker). All of the instructors are top notch, encouraging, willing to go out of their way to help, and their attitudes are always above the clouds!! With both spinning and strength training available, I'd recommend The Vicious Cycle for anybody who is starting out, getting back into it, or maintaining their fitness. You'll be sweating with a smile on your face, and leave a happier person!! And wanting to go back for more!! read more

You know a person enjoyed themselves when they are writing a review literally 30 minutes after going to a business for the first time. Well that is me right now when it comes to The Vicious Cycle. I have never taken a spin class in my life, in fact, I don't even own a bike. I was looking to add some cardio to my work out & figured why not give spinning a try. I am so glad I came to this place to have my first experience because it was fantastic. I walked into the studio I was welcomed by Jennifer Ackerman. She couldn't have been more gracious & kind. She allowed me to pick any bike & really took the time to not only fit me for a comfortable ride but to explain the 'why' behind everything. For those of you who are like me & have never taken a spin class before - it can be a little intimidating - I kept thinking of limping out of the studio with screaming thighs. Jennifer got me set up & reminded me that everyone is new at one point in time or another. PattiAnn Finch is the instructor who was leading the class today. She came over & introduced herself as well as gave me tips to ensure I didn't kill myself during the next 45 minutes. Again, super friendly, incredibly welcoming & just plain nice!!! The class itself was fantastic, great music & a great vibe in the room. PattiAnn will keep you up & moving. She also walked around the room at one point to correct form & prevent injury. This is YOUR workout, YOU control the bike & how intense you want to make it. The only person you need to impress is YOU! The 45 minutes seemed like 20 - I'm not joking the class rocked. When I got home, I had a very nice email from Jennifer thanking me for attending the class & giving me the bike settings just incase I forgot. I will be buying a class card & coming back this week, I loved the workout & feel awesome. read more

Vicious - Yelp is coming! - Cycling Classes Near Me - Medford, New Jersey

Vicious cycle is like eating a porterhouse after eating flank steak your whole life. It provides a sense of awakening. The studio is beautiful, the equipment is much nicer than I have seen at my usual spin studio, and the staff are beyond friendly and enthusiastic about what they do. It is a nice touch that they provide towels (which for me, made me feel right at home. One less thing to worry about.) Also, there is a cooler to refill your water bottles. To the left of the instructor's bike are the pre-moistened wipes to sanitized your bike after use. Jennifer was so welcoming and took the time to help measure me for the bike and followed up with me after class to see how I felt and how I liked it. She also emailed me the settings for future reference. And when I returned I couldn't find the email on my phone but the instructor that day was able to help me find it on the tablet in the front. You check in by clicking on the tablet next to your name (of course). The equipment is much sturdier and better than average, the seat cushion is also larger than your standard spin bike which helps a little with comfort. Overall, Vicious Cycle is not your average spin studio and though it is a little out of the way for me I will continue to visit to add variation to my routine workout. read more

I have attended a few classes at The Vicious Cycle, and its one of my favorite places to break a sweat. My visit to Vicious was my introduction to spinning, and I am hooked. The environment is friendly, encouraging, inspiring and successful at making you work as hard as you can while having fun at the same time. No one is comparing each other to the next person, and the instructors, although very different at times from one another, bring their own unique instruction mixing up your experience every time. You are able to get a free Intro ride to test it out. You are also able to purchase an unlimited package for the first 7 days, intro riders only. I purchase packages through my account that are good for up to 3 months so I never need to worry about my rides expiring. Vicious also offers strength training which I would like to attend sometime soon that is also offered at the same location. Come early for your first time to get 'fitted' on the bike. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Hope to see you there! read more

Great facility, instruction and friendly enviroment. This is a studio group workout but everyone works to their desired level.

Definitely try this place out. You will get a great workout. The trainers here are really good and everyone is super friendly

I was at this studio for a short time before moving out of the area, but while I was at The Vicious Cycle, I loved it! The classes were challenging and motivating, and all the instructors were great. Pricing is very fair as well, and you definitely get your money's worth. I highly recommend this studio, and I will miss taking classes here! read more

Vicious Cycle is the best. They have state of the art equipment and experienced trainer/instructors. They offer classes at a variety of different times during the day to make it convenient for everyone's schedule. They even have classes that start as early as 5:15 AM which makes it great to get a work out in before work. Even 6 AM classes on Saturday for the parents who have kids in sports. read more

I've been spinning here for a year. My mom lives in the area, so when I am visiting I take a class or two. I would choose The Vicious Cycle over any other facility. The prices are very reasonable for single rides and packages. They not only offer spin classes but also strength training which I had the chance to take a class on 9/1/16 and it was great! Jen is an amazing instructor, kept us moving and was very motivating. I would highly recommend trying a class out. They provide towels as well and everyone is very helpful especially if it is your first time. I would consider myself a spin junkie now! Please if you haven't tried it yet, definitely do! read more

The Vicious Cycle was so great I felt the need to write a review after taking my first spin class at this studio. I live in SF, but my parents still live in the area. I spin fairly frequently in SF, and have been to a lot of the big name studios there, so I have a good variety of spin experience. First and foremost, the studio itself is really nice and clean. The spin room is big, clean, and spacious with nice, modern bikes. They also provide towels which is great and in line with what a lot of studios in the city do. I also loved that they had black lights in the spin room - it really gets you in the mood to lose yourself in the music. What really sets the Vicious Cycle apart from the big name studios though is the people and personal attention. My instructor was Jen, and everything about her was awesome. I got there a few minutes early, and since I was new, she took the time to properly fit me to the bike. I appreciated that she explained how to know if your bike fit you properly or not. This is a level of care I have not gotten at other studios. Jen also had great energy in the class, picked fun music, and kept us on our toes. I never felt bored or felt like I was clock watching. I was exhausted, yet invigorated by the end, which is exactly what you want from a great spin class. The cherry on top was she took the time to email me my bike measurements after class so I would know for the future at the studio what my bike measurements are! It's a level of personal care that you don't see at many studios. Overall, the vicious cycle is an excellent studio with great people. Any time I'm home in Medford, I plan to come regularly. read more

I have been a member here for just over a month. I have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff here is very knowledgeable and encouraging and most importantly, they are very positive in all things. I highly recommend this studio for classes. It's great! Where do I start? I absolutely love this place for several reasons. First of all let me say that the staff here is the friendliest, caring and funnest that you will ever meet, from the owners to the instructors!!! Every instructor motivates me to do perform my best each and every time so that I can feel satisfied at the end of my workout. It's fun, it's high energy, and it's a great workout, in the perfect setting. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to improve their fitness level. You will work hard, have fun and feel great afterwards. They also offer Spin Fusion, which is a mixture of spin and strength training, if you are looking for a full body workout. Try it. You won't be disappointed! read more

I discovered Vicious Cycle this summer~ I took spin classes in the past and always enjoyed. First off my sister dragged me to this! Lol and as nervous and hesitant as I was this class was awesome. Not only did each of the instructors introduce themselves to us, they were very genuine and kind. They understood it was our first time there and helped us every step of the way, even with the set up of the bike. I will definitely be coming back!!! Almost didn't feel like a workout, the lights in there and music were amazing loved itttt!!!! read more

Great Classes! Super Energy and awesome instructors! Love spinning at Vicious Cycle!

Years ago I tried spin at a few different places. It never felt like my thing. Thanks to a friend, l tried again this summer at Vicious Cycle, and I am completely hooked. The atmosphere is welcoming, no matter your fitness level. You are encouraged to make each ride your own, but at the same time, the instructors challenge you to be a little stronger each time you ride and to go outside your comfort zone. Each ride leaves me feeling physically challenged, stronger, and way less stressed! If you are new to spin, the first few times are the toughest, but if you give it a chance, you will grow to love it! Don't be afraid to ask for help with your bike or to ask questions in general. If you are a spinner already, get ready for great rides! read more

I have been a client for over a year and have only good things to say about this studio.the instructors are skilled at spinning, make the time go by quickly and care about the clients.
