I tried for a month and I couldn't do with my busy schedule so I gave my 15 days notice. Then they told me that actually it's 30 days notice. And on top of that they keep pestering why you want to cancel. I told the coach that it's not feasible according to my schedule and I have to hear lectures on why it's important for my health to continue. I told them that at this time I tried and it's not working out for my schedule, they said ok. But I still have classes to take to finish off my month. In the next class in front of everyone the coach start humiliating me by saying if this person can come in, you should come in and comparing me to everyone. I finish my session and send an email that it was my last class and please cancel this membership. The coach send me email saying that they are pausing my membership for a couple of month so I can rejoin in June. I am so frustrated about this so I went on their Instagram page and ask in a comment about why it is so difficult to cancel membership. They deleted my comment. I send another email telling them please cancel my membership. I am waiting for reply. Beware before signing up that they humiliate you infront of everyone and put you in awkward conversations and will take no for an answer if you want to cancel your membership. If you are OK with that then go ahead sign up. The program is ok, but you just can't try to see if it works for you.

It's semi-private, so you never feel uncomfortable in front of large crowds like at most large gyms. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the clients develop personal relationships with other customers as well as trainers (it's like one big fitness home). They are determined to see you succeed and will do anything to help you meet your goals. Having a personal trainer keeps me motivated and is the reason I make it to the gym. If I didn't have a scheduled appointment, I don't know if I would have the drive to make it there. In addition to appointments, they also have a cardio room which you can use whenever and bootcamp classes that help you stay on track. Whether you're there because of health reasons or just to feel better, it's definitely worth the investment and worth checking out!

The gym is dirty, grips are sticky which implies that they are not wiped down ( I used machines right after another person and no wiping was done). My workouts were not structured with respect to goals and when I questioned James he said he would have to get to know me better and he needed a year? As I questioned many things, I was met with answers that were not direct and a barrage of statements that "I'm the best, I have degrees, you should trust me?" My confidence waned after several weeks of trying to stick with working out and quite frankly not knowing if it was appropriate for me or I was moving from machine to machine just to fill the half hour which cost $50. In addition to the facility smelling like mold, floors dirty, machine grips sticky, the bathroom was nasty too. Clean and spacious environments.. its a log cabin and the air quality is not the best. On the website it states Monday thru Saturday. Not so. He doesn't work on weekends. And train "like a movie star".. well, I don't even understand why that is on the website as a leader statement. Do u think it is appropriate to be training someone for $50. A HALF hour and be on the phone with a Company because your website is not working? Or leave to tell a person working in your yard where to dig holes? Professionalism...lacking. Think twice before you join this gym.. the photos on the website are misleading, it doesn't look like that and the trainer espouses how great he is but I witnessed nothing that gave me confidence with respect to a customized structured workout plan just for me. Does anyone ask for a year to "get to know you" if they are an expert in the field. I have worked out all my life and have been to many gyms. I do not claim to know all things but I am not a novice with respect to working out. I was expecting a personalized training program and goals with a personal trainer and so disappointed because of the great buildup of all the testimonials online and the complete absence of "personal" with respect to training. I had five more sessions that I paid for.. $600. for 12 1/2 hr sessions. He refused to give me a partial refund and he took money he didn't earn. By the way, are those photos on the website of actual people that have been there or stock photos? Clean and spacious place to work out? Customized workout plan? Sports nutritioni? Train like a movie star? Med Core. Beware.

They really need to do something about these wanna be body builder guys that will do bent over rows right in front of the rack, and when you politely say "excuse me" so you can get your weights, they say "ill move when I'm done." To make it worse, you can not cancel this contract. I have complained about the women in here that also take 4 different sets of weights to work out with, but when another member did that one time, I saw this lady go up to him and say "there are no weights to use, put them back," when he was only using 2 sets of weights. I get that it is unstaffed at this time in the AM, but they need to review their security footage especially about guys who drop 100LB dumbbells from shoulder height on the floor and could hurt someone. I am trying to find a woman's only gym in the area to not have to deal with these guys and this lady that acts like it her own personal gym in the morning.

Pros: The gym has a LARGE amount of amenities. There are two basketball courts (which are also used for pickleball), an indoor lap pool with hot tubs, an outdoor swimming area with slides (at an extra charge). There are classes, a ton of different machines for both cardio and lifting, and a really clean and upscale atmosphere. People tend to mind their own business and the staff have on average been helpful, at least in my experience. There is also a kids "daycare" if that's what you call it. A lot of parents will use this so they can have time to work out and actually work. There's a little area right next to the cafe that has tables and outlets. I see a lot of people with MacBooks doing work. They probably work remotely. Who knows. Cons: The price point for this gym is definitely the highest of them all coming in at $220.00 a month per person. IF you are married or you can prove cohabitation, you can add an additional person on your account for around $100 a month. This gym definitely has a crowd that is very gymcentric. This isn't a bad thing. But some people who are looking for a more chill or less intimidating atmosphere may think twice. I was one of these people until I decided to just not care. But that's easier said than done. The gym can be exceptionally crowded at peak hours. So if you plan on going daily I'd do my very best to avoid late afternoons on weekdays and nights on weekends. I was hoping the bathroom situation would be a little better but, there seems to be 2 bathrooms for ladies and men of course (from what I've seen). And with the amount of people there sometimes, it can be a little bit hectic. The locker room is fine and the showers are just average. At the price point of $220.00 I was expecting some futuristic pod shower than also does your taxes but, we all can't have what we want. The outside swimming area is an additional monthly charge, by the way. Conclusion: So take it or leave it. The price point is HIGH, but there are a lot more amenities and options for machines than any other gym out there. Is that justified? I don't really know. So three stars. Until they have a robot that does my taxes, then it might go to 4.

Laurel location does not have pickleball courts. Only a basketball court with lines everywhere and rolling nets. Luckily I was able to stop at the Princeton location after work, if not for that I probably would've cancelled right away. Why does this location not have real pickleball courts and hardly any open play times?? 2. The gym is mediocre at best. Half of the space is dedicated for their strength training classes, so at busy hours, good luck finding a rack, especially one with a mirror in front of it. 3. They also don't have a turf area, or any sort of soft surface. It is all hardwood. 4. Half of the machines are very old, especially the cable machines Also, their business tactics are shady in general. When going to sign up online, my only option for membership was "the signature" so I assumed that is all they had. Turns out after 5 months I realized they have a standard membership that is slightly cheaper, but is not marketed anyhwere because they want you to pay up for the signature. So I was paying around $414 a month for x2 people to get subpar basically everything.

There are five pools, two concession stands, a playground, restrooms and shower facilities. We didn't try the food because we always brought our own. It appeared to be your average concessions such as hamburgers, fries, drinks, packaged ice cream pops, and chicken fingers. They also suggest ordering delivery service from local fast food restaurants, and some will give you a discount if you order from there. Check the bulletin board at the entrance for menus. Despite the club getting extrememly crowded, there were always enough lawn chairs and recliners around the pools. The pools we frequented were the baby and splash pool because I have a two year old. They're both fenced in so it makes it easy to contain your small children. The Splash pool has some bells and whistles. There are some fountains, a mushroom shaped water fall, and sprinkler's. The deepest part is 2 feet. There's a padded floor covering in the Splash Pool that got a little chewed up by the end of the season, and they didn't fix it. The Baby Pool is a sedentary 2 feet deep pool that's circular. Members bring toys and while most of us share them, there are a few kids (and moms) that suggested not sharing their toys. We went into the family pool a few times, but mostly I avoided it since my son can't swim. It gets to 5 feet deep. Besides that are two other olympic of larger sized pools for play, diving, and a lap pool. The life guards are very attentive, and it's pretty clean. My son also loves the playground. It was open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 11am - 8pm everyday. There are various events on the calendar including parties with DJ's and "Bring a Guest for free Day". You can also book an event here for $5 per person. I suggest buying into membership early in the year when you receive a small discount. Also make sure you plan on going often because it is so expensive. If you don't plan on going often, then just get a season pass for one person and pay a $10 guest visit every time you bring one or buy a book of 10 for a discounted rate. Even though it's closed for the season, when I ask him what he wants to do today, he replies "Pool". We'll certainly become a member next year unless we acquire our own pool.

I am new to New Jersey and was looking for a spin studio and am very impressed with Vicious Cycle. The staff was very welcoming and caring as soon as I stepped through the door. Although I am not new to spinning, one of the owners was sure to go over proper bike set up and positioning, which showed me they are serious about achieving fitness without risking injury. Once class began, the lights were lowered and the instructor led a challenging, fun workout. Most impressive was the owner calling me the next day to check up on me and how I liked the class--so nice!!! The studio is clean, bikes are well-maintained, clean restroom, free towels, and a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Best spin experience ever!!!! Highly recommend. read more

I've been coming to Vicious Cycle for about 2 1/2 years and I can't speak highly enough about both the facility and the instructors. The facility is so clean and the equipment is great. Love, love, love Vicious Cycle! I use to belong to a "big chain" gym. Had to arrive early to sign up for their spin classes and hope they had a spot for you. Never once had the instructor greet me. Just got lost in the crowd. At VC, I'm greeted every time I walk in the door. They really take the time to adjust your bike for you for the most comfortable, safe ride. I love the sign up online too. No showing up wondering if you'll spin or not. Great instructors and great atmosphere. They have a lifetime member with me! read more

New to Spinning, I'm really enjoying Vicious Cycle. The teachers are all really encouraging and energetic, the facility is clean and very well laid out. I asked the barista if she could also make a matcha version and she hadn't done it before, but happily said she'd make it work. Both drinks were festive and fun, and pretty good. The space doubles as a fitness studio and we happened to arrive just as a class was wrapping up. Good timing on our part, because the line got long fast once it did. Staff was friendly throughout even as it got busy. Oh, and it's dog friendly too... the barista happily greeted my daughter's dog, milk bone included. Cute spot with a real community feel to it.

And I decided to try one of the drinks featured on the sign ( the violet lemonade refresher). I had to stand in short line before I could place my order. My drink was ready in about 5 minutes. The drink lived up to its description because it was absolutely refreshing!

Your form will be corrected, you will get direction & feedback to ensure that you don't hurt yourself and that you are getting the most out of your workout. My first class was free, I wanted to sign up for more immediately after the workout. I don't care how in shape you are - you'll be huffing & puffing here. Booking a space online is easy breezy & there is a MindBody app that makes it even easier from your phone - reserve your class early, they fill up fast!

I found Angela's studio through yelp and contacted her immediately. For me it was great to hear Angela was Polestar qualified, as my teacher in the UK is also Polestar trained! I am currently pregnant so wanted to make sure she was comfortable working with me. She replied shortly after and told me she's been working with someone who is due in the coming weeks. I immediately signed up for a class for the 1st day I was in town. Angela warmly welcomed me to her lovely and clean studio. She grabbed all my details and we got started. I signed up for an equipment class so expected more folks to turn up. However, she said she didn't have a minimum class size so I'd be getting a 1:1! It was a fantastic surprise. I had an amazing session with Angela. She kept me working hard the entire time. It was just what I needed after a long haul flight. I can't wait to get to my next class!

Sweat, fear, apprehension, worry, stress, daily drama and all the b.s. that comes with being an adult. I want to get my heart rate up, twist, turn, pull, stretch, bend, move and leave having nothing left to give. To be honest, I get mad when the class I take has the group sitting around rolling our writs around for an hour. I can do that on my own thank you very much. Enter Justin & Yoga Rebellion. I ended up here because a friend is constantly talking about this place and all the great things that happen in this tiny studio in Haddon Heights. First, I was welcomed in and made to feel at ease - critical for a new person. Second, the studio is clean, intimate and heated. Critical - I hate yoga in the cold. Third, the class was so challenging! Holy CROW Pose! You want a workout, you'll get one here. For me the magic comes from what happens on the mat. When I'm trying to pay attention to the queues, trying to keep the flow, trying to land the pose, trying not to fall, etc ...I am not thinking about anything else. I get out of my head, I quiet my thoughts and leave feeling refreshed. That's the whole point, a reprieve a break from life - even if it is just for an hour. My friend is an amazing yogi. I'm not, I can't do any of those crazy inversions, arm balance sequences, I'm not flexible and I still can't turn myself inside and out. I won't lie, I was intimidated from all that I've heard.
