Life Time - Gyms Near Me - Mount Laurel, New Jersey

Have been a member for about 5 months but have decided to cancel. The only reason I joined was to have somewhere to play both pickleball and have a gym. But to start: 1. Mt. Laurel location does not have pickleball courts. Only a basketball court with lines everywhere and rolling nets. Luckily I was able to stop at the Princeton location after work, if not for that I probably would've cancelled right away. Why does this location not have real pickleball courts and hardly any open play times?? 2. The gym is mediocre at best. Half of the space is dedicated for their strength training classes, so at busy hours, good luck finding a rack, especially one with a mirror in front of it. 3. They also don't have a turf area, or any sort of soft surface. It is all hardwood. 4. Half of the machines are very old, especially the cable machines Also, their business tactics are shady in general. When going to sign up online, my only option for membership was "the signature" so I assumed that is all they had. Turns out after 5 months I realized they have a standard membership that is slightly cheaper, but is not marketed anyhwere because they want you to pay up for the signature. So I was paying around $414 a month for x2 people to get subpar basically everything. read more

As someone who's gone to this gym from time to time, there are a few pros & cons that I will list out in detail to help you better understand as to whether or not this gym is for you! Pros: The gym has a LARGE amount of amenities. There are two basketball courts (which are also used for pickleball), an indoor lap pool with hot tubs, an outdoor swimming area with slides (at an extra charge). There are classes, a ton of different machines for both cardio and lifting, and a really clean and upscale atmosphere. People tend to mind their own business and the staff have on average been helpful, at least in my experience. There is also a kids "daycare" if that's what you call it. A lot of parents will use this so they can have time to work out and actually work. There's a little area right next to the cafe that has tables and outlets. I see a lot of people with MacBooks doing work. They probably work remotely. Who knows. Cons: The price point for this gym is definitely the highest of them all coming in at $220.00 a month per person. IF you are married or you can prove cohabitation, you can add an additional person on your account for around $100 a month. This gym definitely has a crowd that is very gymcentric. This isn't a bad thing. But some people who are looking for a more chill or less intimidating atmosphere may think twice. I was one of these people until I decided to just not care. But that's easier said than done. The gym can be exceptionally crowded at peak hours. So if you plan on going daily I'd do my very best to avoid late afternoons on weekdays and nights on weekends. I was hoping the bathroom situation would be a little better but, there seems to be 2 bathrooms for ladies and men of course (from what I've seen). And with the amount of people there sometimes, it can be a little bit hectic. The locker room is fine and the showers are just average. At the price point of $220.00 I was expecting some futuristic pod shower than also does your taxes but, we all can't have what we want. The outside swimming area is an additional monthly charge, by the way. Conclusion: So take it or leave it. The price point is HIGH, but there are a lot more amenities and options for machines than any other gym out there. Is that justified? I don't really know. So three stars. This place needs a serious renovation in every aspect. This place should be no more than $50 a month. This location lacks so many amenities that other locations have. It feels so dirty, outdated, and lacks amenities that come with the cost of this place. The staff is insanely rude to add on to that. Here is a list of all the things i've been unhappy with since starting at this gym 6 months ago: - Classes are junk! I have yet to find a good strength class after trying every single one. Why are they all so focused on cardio? Why are half of the classes in the middle of the gym floor, where 7 different classes and music is playing at once? Why is there not a f45-like circuit style STRENGTH class at this gym? I completed an Alpha conditioning class that was so horrible I had to tell the instructor he set the class off incorrectly. He did not split the class into half cardio and half strength which led to everyone having to race for a cardio machine at the same time and not being enough after each circuit. I told him and he had to correct himself. Ridiculous! - CTR: Why does this location not have CTR? Are there any plans to add that? - Pickleball is a joke. Why are we advertising pickle ball when it's on a basketball court!! The ball doesn't even bounce!!! Ridiculous! -Aurora events mostly every single day but nothing for the young people! - Not even a turf on the gym floor? - No place to hang towels in the indoor pool area. Why am i getting yelled at for placing my towel on a sign because I don't want my towel to sit on the wet, moldy, and hairy floor? So maybe allow us to place our towels somewhere else? -Why am i being stopped and questioned rudely just to enter the pool? Obviously I am a member here or else I wouldn't have gotten inside? Why is there 2 levels of security to this place? -I have been a member for 6 months and have yet to make a friend or meet someone who is my age. Why are we not doing socials for young people in a regular basis just like aurora? It doesn't feel much like a "country club" when the only events are for those who are 60+. Overall for the price of this place, the quality and "country club" feel is not there. I am shocked this place has 3 stars. This location feels so behind in comparison to other locations. This place is just raking in the money and pocketing all of it due to having no updates to this place. And all of the poor reviews are completely correct. This place needs updates, changes, staff training, renovations, a cheaper price, and everything in between. Do better. I plan on taking myself over to Club Studio when they open up and so hope everyone else comes along with me. Though I've only visited Lifetime Fitness as a guest, I was really impressed. It has all the top-notch amenities you could want from a gym, combined with the polished, high-end atmosphere of a luxury establishment. If I lived nearby and had the means, I would join in a heartbeat--it's that impressive. read more

For the amount of money paid every month, the staff was really unhelpful. The yoga instructors do not correct posture or help you during class, very difficult to get someone on the phone if you need help with anything, double-bookings, etc. It's a beautiful place, just isn't worth the cost. After a kid's event gone wrong... Long story, short: I picked up my 5 year old to find her makeup done (which was not advertised at all) like a street walker and she'd been told that she needed makeup to be pretty so she had a meltdown as I removed the toxic crap (after I'd been lied to before registering and told all products used would be safe, non-toxic and dye-free) and then picked up my 10 year old to find that not only had he NOT been fed (I picked him up around 8pm!) but, that they'd only purchased 6 Nerf guns for the 20 kids registered so he didn't even get to play the entire time during "NERF NIGHT"... I decided to remove my family from this "gym". On May 19th, I inquired in person about refunding the credit which would remain on my account after my membership was over. I was told that Hilary was handling the refund, which would go back to my card and was given her business card in case I had any further questions. On May 30th, I called to inquire about my refund and had to leave a message for Alex. On May 31st, Alex left me a message, stating that they'd gotten in touch with corporate and that it may take "a week or so to come in". On June 7th, still without my refund, I called and spoke with Alex, who now tells me it's coming via check instead and that I may need to wait until the END OF JUNE! The lack of communication at this place has always been horrendous but, this is absolutely mind-boggling! They had no problem charging my card and even Walmart can process a refund back onto a card. So why in the hell is it taking nearly a month for me to still NOT have MY money back?! In the last couple months, the Café quality has plummeted, Kids Academy was no longer a safe space for young kids (unless Jessica is working, she rocks!) and management seems to be laughing at people while they play games! Hell, my husband never even got his onboarding appointment with the trainer who repeatedly said she'd call him to reschedule and never did! I absolutely cannot recommend this place to anyone after the few months we've endured and the obvious nature of the place- you're clearly nothing more than a bank account to this company! What happens when I catch an employee lie straight to me in my face & canceled all my personal stretch sessions, claiming that person is "completely booked" & that I have to wait until Feb 2025? I just went in & rebooked with that stretch person who had plenty of openings. Watch this person who lied to me cancel them again. I'm very upset & disappointed. I need a true explanation for this action. Am I being discriminated against? I even presented the letter he requested from my doctor giving me clearance for his stretch program. I ONLY TRUST HIM. I received a call from a different manager (Krystal) claiming that the stretch therapist had an issue with me, that he was uncomfortable with me. So they canceled all my sessions prior to me meeting with Mgr (Debbie) WITHOUT prior notification by email, text or phone call. They have caused me emotional & psychological stress. They made me feel that I wasn't welcome there. I feel discriminated. Debbie lied to me about David's schedule (stretch) & then scheduled me with 2 other classes, water walk (which was canceled by them also) & Dynamic Equipment Trainer (Marissa), not Debbie who also lied about her own schedule. David didn't have the nerve to tell me to my face he didn't want me signing up with him. As a matter of fact, he walked into my original signing up meeting uninvited, eating his meal. Unprofessional again. If he wasn't available, according to her lie, then I wouldn't have been able to sign up, not once but twice. Then she lied & said he would be available after my scheduled surgery in late Jan. I specifically came to Lifetime to have his services ONLY to prepare for my surgery & maybe after, but no guarantees I would return after surgery. Nowhere in their policies do they say they can remove paid clients just because their therapist doesn't want you. This is unprofessional. I have been a member of Life Time Fitness for 25 years when I joined in Troy, Michigan in 1999. I have paid $10's of thousands of dollars in membership fees, all to be treated extremely poorly by the manager at the Mt Laurel location, Alex Faillace. I can no longer afford the dues that have become unattainable except for the wealthy or those who have expendable income. It is not feasible for a working class family to be able to afford this facility. And having it as part of my family all these years, that makes me sad. I put my membership on HOLD. It doesn't reinstate until 3/19...17 days from now. However I was charged $155 on March 1st for the 12 days use in the future. I failed to cancel my membership in time to avoid the "future charges". I was literally less than 48 hours "too late" I spoke to the manager, Alex and she outright refuses to refund me the $155 for the "future 12 days of access". I basically begged and pleaded, explained that I cannot afford this charge, apologized for missing the deadline to cancel, stated I cannot use the club. Alex the manager insisted that she REFUSES to refund my money and could not have cared any less about the situation. She said she was choosing to NOT make an exception. She refuses. When I said I would be calling corporate, she said it will come back to her and it was pointless. I am appalled and disappointed with the lack of empathy from a company that makes millions of dollars a year in each location and that I personally have been a member of for decades. Absolutely unacceptable customer service as a corporation. I will be contacting corporate and I have disputed the charge through my credit card company. I was on a hold with intention to fully cancel. The fact they also charge $15 a month to "HOLD" your membership is ludicrous. They scared me out of canceling immediately with the threat of "you will never get this great price again ($370/month" In response to Lifetime's response, the GM of Mt Laurel NJ had zero interest in rectifying this, despite my becoming a member in 1999. read more

I want to preface this review by saying that my assessment is largely influenced by the high membership cost. If the price were under $100 per month, my feedback would likely be more positive. First, let's address the issue of rush hour. It's understandable that gyms get busier around 6 PM, especially on weekdays. However, what's frustrating is that during these peak times, members are frequently kicked off the squat racks to make room for classes. These classes rarely use the racks or bars, but instead, take up the floor space next to them. Squat racks are essential equipment, and removing members from them during busy periods is highly inconsiderate and inconvenient--especially given the premium we're paying. To make matters worse, I've been asked to leave the higher-quality treadmills when over half of them were free. This kind of treatment feels disrespectful to members who are trying to fit workouts into tight schedules. Next, the sauna situation. This gym has been around for nearly a decade, and the sauna was just fine until recent changes. Lifetime Mt. Laurel now blames members for maintenance issues and has imposed overly strict sauna rules. For instance, you can no longer walk in with gym shoes to warm up before a workout as members continue to wear flipflops that are worn outside (what is the difference at that point?!?). Adjusting the temperature is prohibited, even when it's noticeably too low. The sauna's temperature has been reduced by 20 degrees since the last repair, which makes it less effective, and does nothing but waste everyone's time as it takes much longer to break a sweat. What's worse, staff come in every 10 minutes to babysit members, letting warm air out each time--while still allowing others to hang their smelly clothes by the heater to dry off. On top of all this, the membership fee keeps increasing by $10-$20 each year, and pool-guest passes are absurdly priced at $40 per visit. Why isn't that covered by my already high membership fee? Plus, you can only bring the same guest once every 60 days, despite having two guest passes per month. It feels overly controlling, as it should be my choice who I bring with my designated passes. In the end, there's nothing particularly unique about this gym that justifies the price, and much more affordable alternatives offer the same experience. Even the café prices are unreasonable. What used to be a great gym from 2018 to 2023 has now become an ongoing frustration in 2024. I'm actively seeking other options. read more

I'm very disappointed with customer service. I cancelled my membership correctly called back to verify and see what my last day of access was and was given the date. Their response was the membership wasn't terminated unless I got an email confirmation. So I was charged 3 months unknowingly and was under the impression I could not access the gym! Well, Wow. Let's say it's unfair to compare this to a typical gym. You're not going here just to work out but to be inspired, pampered, and down right spoiled by the amenities. It's anything but a straight forward gym. First off let's talking about the parking lot. Luxury cars. First clue. Came here with a friend on their guest pass and color me speechless. I don't even workout but this gym made me want to. They had many amenities, some off the top of my head are: cafe, personal trainers, lounging area, hair salon, bball court, pools, classes etc. I used the threadmill, sauna, and showers. Kept it simple, so I can't say much on what I haven't tried. Showers/locker rooms were stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryers etc. PRO TIP:: Take bath slippers for the showers cuz at least I got a little icked out by the wet floors. My fault, I didn't think it through. The gym and locker rooms were spotless. Staff and members were all very friendly. Shout-out to my girl, Gayatri from the locker room, who invited me back with her guest passes. A week later I received a phone call. Yesenia from customer service, asking me about my feedback on my experience at the gym. I was pleasantly surprised at the lengths this gym goes to for their guests. She then told me I could come back for a class or two bc I didn't have a chance to attend fitness classes last time. Overall I'm not sure what kinda pretty penny all this costs but definitely recommend getting a tour and then deciding if it's the right fit for you. read more

So this place has so much to offer from a Spa and Cafe that is open to the public. To a Pool and Athletic Club. Personal Trainers. ( Lisa is my trainer) and she's great. But I take classes with Leigh in Yoga. Anna in the Water WTCX classes. They all work with my bad wrist without making me feel awkward. The food is delicious and I'm so happy to be heading towards me healthy way of life. Also if you get a service at the LifeSpa, massage, skin, nails and hair. You are allowed to use the facility all day AND use the kids club for 2 hours complimentary. So I can bring a non member friend. We can go to the pool all day with our kids. I have been a member since this gym opened. Last Sunday I was happy to find a parking space directly across from the entrance door. When I returned to my car after my class I quickly noticed that someone had been in my car. They took everything that was not tied down. My purse containing my wallet, my driver's license and registration, credit cards etc. They even removed items from the trunk, my purse. Fortunately I didn't leave a car key somewhere in the car otherwise they would have taken the car. What concerns me is that I parked in the lot closest to the front of the gym. I thought that would be a good location since the entrance has lighting and any one up to no good would be noticed. I did not want to place any items in the lockers because I saw a comment on television showing photos of women at their Lifetime lockers, which had been opened and their belongings taken by thieves. That is why I chose not to use the lockers. Lifetime should have guards monitoring the parking lots and the locker rooms. Incidents like this really make Lifetime look bad. Roz read more

I am a founding member of this location and love going to this gym! It's always so clean and the people are so nice! The trainers here at the gym are so nice and so eager to help you in any way they can by helping you with training sessions, metabolic tests, or getting you set up with the in house nutritionists. Unfortunately there has been a mass exodus of a bunch of trainers that are incredibly missed. The amenities include the following and probably more that I'm forgetting at the moment!: - spa - hair and nail salon - indoor and outdoor pool - jacuzzis - kiddy pool - outdoor slide at the pool - outdoor and indoor cafe - basketball court - yoga and Pilates studios - dance studios - cycling studio - full gym with all the best machines - locker rooms- male, female and family - kid academy- you can leave your child in essentially daycare for up to 3 hours during your visit They could definitely use an indoor track like some other Lifetime facilities The locker rooms that include a sauna, showers, steam room and lockers are complete with fresh towels, razors, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, qtips , hair dryers, hair spray, deodorant, lotion, make up remover wipes, mouthwash, scales, and more! read more

I've been coming to Litetime since July 2016. I understand that prices go up but I started at $99 and today was told $139. I don't use most of the outdoor facilities but always liked the staff and indoor facilities. For that reason after taxes $150 is a lot to spend on free weights. When canceling my membership they didn't even ask why after 7 years you are leaving. They could care less and are almost happy to see you go. You want people that care this isn't the place. Logan on the other hand is a stand up guy that deserves something better. read more

Worth every penny I haven't seen a gym like this before. The gym floor is clean, broken machines are fixed quickly, and nothing squeaks. They have a wide variety of equipment to cater to all needs, from getting toned to powerlifting. The lookerroom is usually spotless. The sauna and steam shower have worked every time I have gone. There are always towels and you can easily find a locker in busy times. We are heavy users of the kids club, from the best, the baby area, to the general population. They offer a wide variety of classes for the kids, from art to a ninja warrior inspired offering. The staff has always been wonderful to my children. My kids like it so much, there are sometimes tears when we leave. The club itself isn't cheap. They also have add ons, like premium classes which add quickly. The cafe is good, but expensive. In life, you have to pay for top quality. This is as nice as I think a large scale gym can get. It is worth every penny. read more

I am a somewhat new member at lifetime and I love it. My sister, brother-in-law, and I all joined recently. They recently had a baby, so the child care center has been great. All you have to do is call ahead to reserve a spot in the kids academy area- they have a separate area in there for infants. The facilities are beautiful, everything is clean and maintained well. The outdoor pool has plenty of seating to lounge at during the day and at night. The locker rooms are great and they have everything you could need in there. There are towels in all of the classes and the locker room. The lockers also have locks in them so you don't have to worry about bringing your own lock with you. I love all of the classes here- but I mostly do spin and yoga. I really like that you can reserve your spot on the app, it definitely helps keeping yourself accountable and actually going to the gym. The app itself is so easy to use- you can filter the classes, see how many times you've gone to the gym and see your guest pass status. You get two free guests a month, but during the summer months you are not allowed to bring a guest on the weekends. It is $30/day per adult guest on the weekends I believe. I also love that there is a facebook group for the members so you can keep up to date with special events or ask fitness instructors general questions. The only downside is that it is expensive, but if you go enough I feel like you can get your moneys worth. read more

I'm still getting bills from them! I sent them, faxed them and handed them termination letters over a month ago. I love love love Life Time athletic. I drive 45 minutes from my usual Princeton NJ location to come take a class with Lisa Gonzales, who taught SOL. If you get a chance come take her class. I have been a member at Life Time since November of 2015. I usually go 4-5 times per week and I am still impressed after my two plus years of membership. Sorry for the long review but I wanted to provide as many details as I could. The Pros- -The place itself is beautiful. It is almost too nice to be a gym. All of the equipment is brand new and there is a lot of it. There are 2 types of treadmills and all or most of the machines have blue tooth head phone capability, HR monitor capability, built in workouts, and several viewing options. -The spinning bikes are the best I have been on. They are Stages and are super smooth, quiet and easy to adjust. The display light stays on and the instructors use cadence (RPM) and watts during the classes. The spinning room has 60 plus bikes and is open and well ventilated. It never smells funky. The air flow could be better as it does get hot during classes. I wish they would address this fans, etc. All of the indoor cycling instructors are very good. - LT offers a lot of classes for general fitness, strength conditioning, spinning, Zumba, yoga, etc. I have done many types of the classes now in the evening and most have been very good. There are also a lot of options for the after work time slots. My last gym, most of the better classes were at 5:30 AM and that just isn't happening for me. These classes are included in the LT membership. There are some other classes that have a fee. These are pricey. (see cons) -The locker rooms are resort like. LT supplies you with towels and there is also shampoo, conditioner, body wash, disposable razors, shaving cream, mouthwash, q-tips, etc. The shower and changing rooms are usually spotless. The lockers have their own locks so no need to bring a lock either. -There is a large dry sauna and a eucalyptus steam room. -The pool areas are incredible. There are 2 large indoor pools and a fountain area and two (2) huge hot tub areas. The outside pools truly look like a resort and there is also a hot tub behind the slides. - All of the staff is extremely friendly. - There is a lot of parking and the lot is well lighted and safe. The Cons- - All of the above comes at a cost; I am paying almost twice as at my old gym. - LT has a great program for children and their Kids Academy. They often close off 1/2 of the basketball court for these programs in the early evening. I don't use the basketball courts that much so this is not a problem for me. But I can see it being one for some. - Some free classes can be packed or full. especially on the weekends. Arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to get a spot. -The weight area is not as big as I expected compared to the other areas of the facility. There are muscle heads. -There is a one time initiation fee in addition to your monthly fee. This can be between $100-$150. Mine was $100 as I joined with my wife. -The café is nice, the food is good and great to have but a little on the expensive side and members pay for the convenience. -There is an extra cost for a handful of fee-based semi-private fitness classes and pilates that run $150 per month x 3 times per week. - As with any gym LT will try to push personal training with their free monthly one time offer. I just declined. They also soft push metabolic testing, detox, etc. -There are a lot of kids during the summer and the pool area gets crowded. If you don't like kids and are not family oriented this could be a problem. I enjoyed the pool and tried to come late when it was less crowded. However, there were at 3 least instances when I was at LT when a child "soiled" the pool and everything was shut down completely. -Some members are oblivious to common courtesy to other members and the staff in the locker rooms. They leave their towels in the steam room or on the changing area floors, etc. Liftetime does nothing about this in terms of e-mails or signs or warnings. Other Observations- After the initiation fee, my membership is month to month without a contract or cancellation fee. You can also use the initiation fee towards LT bucks. This is basically a credit towards the spa, hair styling, massage, personal training, LT clothing, group classes that have a fee and testing such as metabolic, etc. Unfortunately LT bucks can't be used at the café. I've been going here for almost a year now. It's an excellent facility and probably the only luxurious club in the South Jersey area. The workout area is great. Aside from the traditional workout equipment (dumbbells, benches, machines, squat racks etc.) there are also a variety of other equipment such as TRX, ropes, rowing machines, tires, punching bags etc. so you can do a variety of workouts. There's also a ton of squat racks, which is great cause most gyms only have about 2-3. So if you're squatting or deadlifting, it's easier to get a rack (unless there's a class going on). They offer a variety of classes all day, which is great if you're more of a class type. Within each class type, there are also different varieties. For example, there are about 4/5 different yoga classes offered (heated, surrender, root etc.) Different kinds of classes offered are yoga, spin, Pilates, cardio circuit classes (HIIT), kickboxing, kettleball, TRX, weight training etc. The majority of the classes are included with your membership but there are a couple that you'll have to pay extra for. You can also work with a personal trainer, which you'll have to pay extra for. The locker rooms are great and spacious. There is a sauna and steam room both in the locker room. They have complimentary towels, hair dryer, lotion, razors, shaving cream, mouthwash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the locker room so you don't need to worry about bringing any of that. There's both an indoor and outdoor pool with a hot tub as well. The outdoor pool can get pretty crowded during the summer time. The cafe is pretty nice too. They have a lot of healthy food options and good protein shakes. Highly recommend the almond butter shake!! There's also a spa, barber and different massage services offered. Overall, this is a great gym. There a lot of amenities, classes, and equipment offered that most gyms do not have. It is obviously on the pricier end ($100 a month), but you get what you pay for. The only criticism I have is spacing and the weight room area. The middle jungle gym area can get crowded at times with all the equipment. It would have been nice if it was a little bigger and spread out. Also, the dumbbell rack area can be crowded at times due to lack of dumbbells and benches. I came from LA Fitness before and they have dumbbells in 2.5lb intervals all the way up to 55lb, but Lifetime only has 2.5lb intervals up to 30lbs. read more

I WISH I COULD AFFORD TO GO HERE!!! It's beyond clean and the amenities are awesome. I went here on a Monday night and did Barbell Strength with 4 of my girlfriends. I was hurting for 4 days and it was worth it! I will definitely revisit this gym membership once I have more money. Pros: State of the art everything. 2 group exercise rooms. 1 room with 60 spin bikes. separate yoga/Pilates room. indoor/outdoor pool. sauna. a ton of space. locker rooms with fresh towels and toiletries. babysitting area. full basketball court. cafe/smoothie bar. Cons: It's $110 a month, a ridiculous annual fee, and it costs extra for yoga/Pilates and personal training. There aren't that many locations and currently i live 30 mins from here. read more

This place is PHENOMENAL! It is worth every penny if not more, especially if you have kids. I cannot say enough about the Kids Academy, they have: Arts and Crafts Studio, Gymnastics Studio (with a real padded gymnastics floor) complete with little rings, high bar, and full length trampoline with other stuff, Language Immersion/Music Studio, Dance (with ballet bars and real dance floor) for yoga, karate, zumba and fit classes for the little ones, a humungo play area for bigger kids, toddlers and an infant room. They have 9 Ipads for kids to use with educational games, no internet access or camera access. You get 3 HOURS of childcare a day! (Included in your little one's membership price). NO YOU CANNOT LEAVE THE GYM! They also have a parents night out twice a month for $20 per child for four hours ($5 per hour super cheap) you CAN leave the gym during this saturday night from 5-9 and they take your kiddos swimming, provide dinner and what not. Its a heaven for children and provides a stress free solitude environment for the parents. They come with whiteboards when your needed, and do not call your name over a loud speaker or call out for you. I have tried out Zumba, and Yoga, both fantastic... The yoga studio has a great atmosphere with great sound, and lighting the instructor can adjust. The temperature is also adjustable. I had a class with Alex today and he was fantastic for a beginner level yoga (he seems to be an advanced master in my eyes). The temp of the room was 80-85 Degrees and can go higher depending on the class. What I LOVE is that you take your shoes off outside the studio, that way if your late you are definitely not making tons of sounds with that sort of stuff. The treadmills are great, try the beasty ones they have lots of options. I tried the not so beafy ones and I could choose to look at running through the streets of San Francisco, a trail or watch a football game. They are also bluetooth enabled to sync with your phone and you can also log in to track all your fitness needs. The pool area is 90 degrees at all times, and the hot tubs are wonderful! The locker rooms for woman are beautiful and set up well, with a dry and wet sauna inside. The outdoor pool is beautiful! I myself with my kiddo spent 5.5 hours here on the opening Saturday and four hours on Sunday. It is a weekend retreat. My child is in a wheelchair, and they have gone above and beyond to care for her already. They are great with her, so don't think just because your kid is special needs that he/she is excluded. I have never been anywhere that is so adjustable. Lets talk price...YOU may think its expensive, but did you just read all the stuff I just listed? How can you think $100 on down is expensive for what you get? Sure you can go pay $30 a month at your local gym, but you get crappy equipment, a very unknowledgeable staff full of kids, unclean restrooms and your lucky if your gym has a shower at this price. I love this gym. I've been a member since the Spring and really enjoy the spa-like atmosphere here. My son came as a guest when he was home for the summer from college and loved it so much he joined and came and worked out after his internship almost every day! The hydro-training class is amazing! All of the instructors are upbeat and the music is great! The locker room has everything you need to relax, refresh, and restyle yourself before heading out to lunch at the cafe or going back to work. Highly recommend! read more

Woah, this isn't daddy's lap swim pool. Okay it's 35 dollars for a day pass if you're like me from out of town but there aren't a lot of places open at 4am to get your lap swim workout in. Beautiful place, indoor and outdoor pools, water slide, a great kids safe knee high pool, lots of outdoor seating and umbrellas, nice staff, hip feeling place. The outdoor pool opens at 6am and is 83 degrees and is not over chlorinated. The indoor pool is 87 and opens at 4 with the gym. I wish there was an option for something other than a 35 day pass for people that just need to get their lap swim on. Kids under 15 are 15 dollars for a day pass. read more

Staff are a bunch of jerks. Little kids run rampant and parents seem to not care. Life Cafe is overpriced and really doesn't offer healthy options. You can get the same equipment at LA Fitness for a whole lot cheaper. Their outside pool is overcrowded with families who think they are at some elite resort. STAY AWAY!! read more

I joined Lifetime almost 2 months ago when they were running a special. I was hesitant at first because of the high price tag but figured I could end my membership if I wasn't happy after a few months. Trust me, if you are a frequent gym-goer, you will find Lifetime Athletic Center to be well worth the money. Of course, the facility is beautiful and everything is provided to make each visit enjoyable; especially for those who are currently, or want to start, working out in the morning before work because of the towels and quality toiletries that are provided. Doug is the absolute best account manager and I'd highly recommend asking for him if you are considering a membership. He was the only gym sales rep I've met that wasn't pushy when I mentioned I was considering switching gyms. He extended my free trial to two weeks and informed me of the best specials each month until I was ready to join. Additionally, when I was road tripping in Utah, Arizona, and Nevada with two friends, he went out of his way to call the nearest club and get all three of us access to the Lifetime facility in Henderson, Nevada (a higher level club) with less than an hour notice. Being able to shower before heading to the airport made our day! And of course my friends were beyond impressed by the Lifetime team and Doug's extra effort as my account manager. My experience thus far (note: I am a new member) is I love what I see. I love the opportunity to start work on my new or renewing my lifestyle for a great body my only concern is it's just a lot of new equipment for me and if I want to be educated about the equipment and other awesome services I do have to pay for it which I suppose is to be expected. I am so looking forward to a greater experience and hoping my family will join me but well honestly the concern is the cost which I completely understand but hopefully I can persuade them. Note: this club does have an app w/tutorials to assist w/education of the many equipment's here in the club which I am very excited about.
