If you see a MILF in the Cherry Hill area, ask her if she goes to La Belle Fit. Chances are the…read moreanswer is yes. This place attracts the cream of the crop from the area. I had a Groupon and was very, very excited to try the Barre Ampped classes. I enjoyed the classes tremendously. Great workout although not as intense as I would have liked. (Of course, I had just finished months of straight Pilates and running so I was in pretty good shape.) I've only done the TRX and Barre classes here but they also have Zumba, pilates, yoga, etc. A few comments-yes, some of the instructors vary in quality and teaching style which stinks because these classes are expensive and for what you're paying, you should be able to get consistency. This is normal for gyms though bc you will like some teaching styles better. It is also pricey which deters me from going more often. They run specials frequently on their website which helps with the cost i.e. a barre class will be $13 instead of $20.

Which was not a bad deal 10 classes for $55. I tried registering online for the beach body glutes class and was unable to. I sent an email and after not hearing back at the end of the following business day I gave them a call. The beach body glutes class is a part of the barre series. So it would use up 2 of my classes versus one ok! So they were able to add me to the class. Upon entering I checked in with the front desk and being my first time I did not know where to go. I stood there is silence thinking they were not finished checking me in. I then noticed they were and explained I was new so I did not know where I was suppose to go. The women at the front desk then directed me to the studio. Can't they see in their system that I am new? Customers should be treated with more respect. On the upside, Donna was amazing and friendly. She noticed I was new and introduced herself. Throughout the class she remained engaged and so energetic. I could barely keep up and I wasn't the one working out and instructing a class! It was really a great workout with the use of a rebounder, skateboard, free weights and many other items. Unfortunately, this class interferes with yoga so i have not been back. Next, I tried spin & core with Brandi. She is also so pleasant and makes you work so hard. This class consists of 45 minutes of spin and then 15 minutes of core workouts on the mat, with weights, and the use of other equipment. She changes it up from week to week which is very nice. However, recently I noticed that this class is not available and had not been replaced on Sundays which is when I like to spin. This was what made it miss the 4 star mark in my eyes.

Today, I decided to try out the Voorhees location mainly due to the indoor track. I am training for a race and I don't like to run on treadmills or in poor weather. The "indoor track" has 2 narrow lanes for jogging and walking, yet most of the members seemed oblivious to this and I was dodging people who were not aware of their surroundings for most of the run. The track circles their cardio equipment, therefore you're just passing people staring at you run. I quickly realized the indoor track was not what I was looking for. But, I already knew I wouldn't sign up for the gym even before seeing the indoor track due to a comment the member specialist said while giving me a tour. As he is pointing out the equipment, he says "here is the incline chest press, but women don't need to use this unless they are body building." I'm sorry, sir, but as a 60 something year old man who opted to take the elevator instead of the stairs due to physical issues... how the hell do YOU know what women need? Are you a woman? Are you a trainer? Are you ME? No... that comment was unnecessary and I won't be back. Two stars because they do have top of the line equipment, as well as good amenities (sauna, pool). It was crowded, but it was also a Sunday.

As someone who's gone to this gym from time to time, there are a few pros & cons that I will list…read moreout in detail to help you better understand as to whether or not this gym is for you! Pros: The gym has a LARGE amount of amenities. There are two basketball courts (which are also used for pickleball), an indoor lap pool with hot tubs, an outdoor swimming area with slides (at an extra charge). There are classes, a ton of different machines for both cardio and lifting, and a really clean and upscale atmosphere. People tend to mind their own business and the staff have on average been helpful, at least in my experience. There is also a kids "daycare" if that's what you call it. A lot of parents will use this so they can have time to work out and actually work. There's a little area right next to the cafe that has tables and outlets. I see a lot of people with MacBooks doing work. They probably work remotely. Who knows. Cons: The price point for this gym is definitely the highest of them all coming in at $220.00 a month per person. IF you are married or you can prove cohabitation, you can add an additional person on your account for around $100 a month. This gym definitely has a crowd that is very gymcentric. This isn't a bad thing. But some people who are looking for a more chill or less intimidating atmosphere may think twice. I was one of these people until I decided to just not care. But that's easier said than done. The gym can be exceptionally crowded at peak hours. So if you plan on going daily I'd do my very best to avoid late afternoons on weekdays and nights on weekends. I was hoping the bathroom situation would be a little better but, there seems to be 2 bathrooms for ladies and men of course (from what I've seen). And with the amount of people there sometimes, it can be a little bit hectic. The locker room is fine and the showers are just average. At the price point of $220.00 I was expecting some futuristic pod shower than also does your taxes but, we all can't have what we want. The outside swimming area is an additional monthly charge, by the way. Conclusion: So take it or leave it. The price point is HIGH, but there are a lot more amenities and options for machines than any other gym out there. Is that justified? I don't really know. So three stars. Until they have a robot that does my taxes, then it might go to 4.

Honestly, it seemed insanely crowded with the usual suspect machine hogs and the perma-tanned preening that you can enjoy for free on South Beach. Pro-tip... you can probably outfit a fairly decent home gym for six months of dues. But what do I know. Three stars for the grins.

My first class was free, I wanted to sign up for more immediately after the workout. I don't care how in shape you are - you'll be huffing & puffing here. I found Angela's studio through yelp and contacted her immediately. For me it was great to hear Angela was Polestar qualified, as my teacher in the UK is also Polestar trained! I am currently pregnant so wanted to make sure she was comfortable working with me. She replied shortly after and told me she's been working with someone who is due in the coming weeks. I immediately signed up for a class for the 1st day I was in town. Angela warmly welcomed me to her lovely and clean studio. She grabbed all my details and we got started. I signed up for an equipment class so expected more folks to turn up. However, she said she didn't have a minimum class size so I'd be getting a 1:1! It was a fantastic surprise. I had an amazing session with Angela. She kept me working hard the entire time. It was just what I needed after a long haul flight. I can't wait to get to my next class!
