Laurel location does not have pickleball courts. Only a basketball court with lines everywhere and rolling nets. Luckily I was able to stop at the Princeton location after work, if not for that I probably would've cancelled right away. Why does this location not have real pickleball courts and hardly any open play times?? 2. The gym is mediocre at best. Half of the space is dedicated for their strength training classes, so at busy hours, good luck finding a rack, especially one with a mirror in front of it. 3. They also don't have a turf area, or any sort of soft surface. It is all hardwood. 4. Half of the machines are very old, especially the cable machines Also, their business tactics are shady in general. When going to sign up online, my only option for membership was "the signature" so I assumed that is all they had. Turns out after 5 months I realized they have a standard membership that is slightly cheaper, but is not marketed anyhwere because they want you to pay up for the signature. So I was paying around $414 a month for x2 people to get subpar basically everything.

I previously gave this gym a harsh but fair rating of three stars. I am now rating it four stars…read morebecause it has what I need and good availability. It's not a fancy place but that doesn't really matter; you're hopefully there to work out and it's perfectly fine for most people who want to work out. One thing that should be pointed out is that they recently swapped some seemingly underused equipment out for half racks. Those look to be very popular (so kudos for meeting customer's needs) but also freed up the smith machines. This makes the gym more open and leaves more racks open at a time. [Further to the gym's credit, it was not too long ago that that bought two extra smith machines to meet demand] My only real issue, as in the past, is that there is not great etiquette among some gym users. Too many people occupy benches and equipment for long periods of time while just sitting on their phones. This happens most often with the cable machines or leg sled. If I can finish three sets of two or three different exercises before you so much as reach for the bar, that's not bad behavior. There are also way too many times that someone takes dumbbells from the rack only to stand only just inches away from it, keeping anyone from getting near that part of the rack. There's no excuse for that when there are several hundred square feet of floor behind them.

This is a great location. Very clean and lots of nice and new equipment. There's no locks on the…read morelockers and seems like you have to provide your own. The other main location in Sicklerville I go to has combo locks on the lockers.

https://www.facebook.com/Echelongetfit/videos/848365295346572/…read more I am enjoying - and benefitting from - a great experience at Echelon Health and Fitness and find this facility presents a broader range of programs and services, set in a top-tier facility (with pool), than others in the Delaware Valley in general and South Jersey in particular! The availability of the Thrivefit program in addition to an on-site Chiropractic practice that provides benefits extending well beyond the parameters of conventional/traditional Chiropracty, coupled with state-of-the-art equipment and a staff that is sincere, welcoming and non-judgemental makes this the best gym experience I have ever encountered!

Today, I decided to try out the Voorhees location mainly due to the indoor track. I am training for a race and I don't like to run on treadmills or in poor weather. The "indoor track" has 2 narrow lanes for jogging and walking, yet most of the members seemed oblivious to this and I was dodging people who were not aware of their surroundings for most of the run. The track circles their cardio equipment, therefore you're just passing people staring at you run. I quickly realized the indoor track was not what I was looking for. But, I already knew I wouldn't sign up for the gym even before seeing the indoor track due to a comment the member specialist said while giving me a tour. As he is pointing out the equipment, he says "here is the incline chest press, but women don't need to use this unless they are body building." I'm sorry, sir, but as a 60 something year old man who opted to take the elevator instead of the stairs due to physical issues... how the hell do YOU know what women need? Are you a woman? Are you a trainer? Are you ME? No... that comment was unnecessary and I won't be back. Two stars because they do have top of the line equipment, as well as good amenities (sauna, pool). It was crowded, but it was also a Sunday.

I am a Physical Therapist and I am a huge advocate for healthy living by default. I used to go to…read morethe gym faithfully and crush my personal bests at set intervals. I loved it. I was in the best shape of my life. Unfortunately, as often happens with many people, life changed. And with my financial and scheduling burdens I was no longer able or even motivated to work out the way I loved. I gained weight. I became weaker. My healthy food intake turned into an episode of diners drive ins and dives on a loop. I gained more weight. When I tried to return to the gym I injured myself....multiple times..aaaaand gained more weight aaaand got weaker. I decided to work out with a trainer to try to motivate me and keep me on track. But I became bored and unimpressed with my workouts with minimal gains. I tried quite a few trainers but it was still more of the same. Until one day I came upon Kinetics 360 at The Firm when driving by the complex and decided to call. After discussing my concerns and goals with Jared, I immediately felt at ease. From my first session I was impressed. He is very knowledgeable, motivating, and creative with his workouts. Each workout is different and challenging. The sessions are affordable and you even have access to the full gym to workout on other days on your own if you so choose. I recommend him to my patients that are finishing up their Physical Therapy and are looking to continue to gain strength and mobility. I highly recommend him for all fitness levels whether you are needing to get back into shape, trying to fine tune your performance, or you are completely new to the exercise world!
