My practice has developed under his instruction and attention. He is a gifted teacher and I feel lucky to have found him. Marie's classes are also amazing! Her thoughtful sequencing, fun playlist, attention to alignment and cues and her sense of humor make for a fantastic and fun hot yoga class! The last few classes I've taken with Regan have been wonderful. Her attention to alignment is demonstrated in a way that is unique to any other teacher's I've experienced. She brings the asana to life from thoughtful instruction to a lovely flow that all gets tied together in a way that, by the end of savasana, I feel I've taken a beautiful journey. It's not often that I feel such a release of emotion as I did in today's class. I've also taken a few classes with Taylor, Brittany and Jeannie and WOW!. This studio is loaded with talented, caring teachers who bring 100% to each practice and I look forward to every single one. Marianne and Emily, at the front desk, are welcoming and helpful and set the tone for a very relaxed practice and each class ends with a cold towel to help me cool down. Thank you, Yoga Six Marlton, for bringing me back to my practice and getting me excited about yoga again!

Laurel location does not have pickleball courts. Only a basketball court with lines everywhere and rolling nets. Luckily I was able to stop at the Princeton location after work, if not for that I probably would've cancelled right away. Why does this location not have real pickleball courts and hardly any open play times?? 2. The gym is mediocre at best. Half of the space is dedicated for their strength training classes, so at busy hours, good luck finding a rack, especially one with a mirror in front of it. 3. They also don't have a turf area, or any sort of soft surface. It is all hardwood. 4. Half of the machines are very old, especially the cable machines Also, their business tactics are shady in general. When going to sign up online, my only option for membership was "the signature" so I assumed that is all they had. Turns out after 5 months I realized they have a standard membership that is slightly cheaper, but is not marketed anyhwere because they want you to pay up for the signature. Sunday morning I witnessed something truly beautiful. I witnessed James, the head trainer and…read morecoach, take an introverted young man and pull him out of his shell. Parents let me off you a little more detail. I have been going to this location for just a few months and I have truly been enjoying the workout and the amazing trainers. These classes are fun, accessible to all people regardless of fitness level. The music is great, you will be sweaty, you will smile and feel amazing when you walk out. I went to a fundamentals class on Sunday morning, it was all I could squeeze in because of my schedule. James, my favorite, was leading the class. There was a young man there and if I had to guess, I would put him at around maybe 16 or 17. He was shy, introverted, awkward, and I could tell he would rather disappear than have anyone look at him. I watched James patiently explain each of the moves, use his high energy and welcoming personality to pull this young man out of his shell. I don't know this kid's story, I don't know if there is a male figure in his life or not and I'm not here to assume. I watched James teach, coach, inspire, motivate, and include with patience, grace, charm, dignity, and respect. One thinks of boxers as hard edge and rough, but there was something magical about watching James teach this young man how to stand, how to throw a punch, how to move. I can only imagine what this gym, James, and the other trainers will do for the confidence of young people who need a little more encouragement. Parents the world can be tough. This is a positive environment with good people, it is a safe, inclusive place for men, women, teens looking to get in shape, get healthy, improve their confidence and maybe even make a few friends. A few of the other reviews mentioned that they were unable to cancel their membership. I also had an issue with my membership, I had to go in and speak to someone in person. I was told there was a change in leadership and that the new manager would connect with me. We will see what happens and I will update this if necessary as necessary - but for now, this review is strictly about the workout and the trainers who create the environment. They need to be acknowledged because they are the very best.

First - barre was new to me and so I certainly wasn't use to this type of activity. For me, this was one intense workout that made me drip sweat like a land beast. I was sore after every class and really felt it in every muscle not just thighs or arms. Second - they have a lot of classes. You need early? They have early. You want late? They have that too. There is a class that will fit into your schedule and that's handy for someone like me whose work schedule isn't the same every day. Third - It's convenient and it's an attractive space in which to work out. Why does this matter? I don't know that it does, but so many people who write reviews always comment on the space if it's old, outdated, crusty, raggedy, etc. This place is new, modern, clean & cute. It's easy to get to, I never once had an issue with parking & there is a coffee shop literally 3 doors down for your post workout caffeine fix. Ok, so all that & only four stars? Well, it's small and the five classes I attended were all packed. I always felt like I was on top of someone or that I might kick someone if I didn't pay close attention. They don't have a changing room, I didn't know that for my first class & showed up in my work clothes & a gym bag. Their only restroom is inside the studio so you'll need to wait until class is over to go in there & change. That first time there was a queue of people who just finished working out waiting to use it and then me waiting like a dope to go change. I changed at work after that initial class. As a workout it is probably five stars, but as a whole, I never really felt fully comfortable there. I always felt like I was doing it wrong but seldom if ever got corrected. I always felt too clumsy, too sweaty, too frumpy, too fat, too much - but that's my own hang up not theirs. It's a great work out and fit in nicely between kickboxing & the gym. If you're going to give it a try, do yourself two favors - first, spend the $16 and buy the barre socks right away. Second, try to take at least one class with Marla - she was so encouraging and motivating, I wish she taught there more often but no matter who leads, you're going to get a great workout.
