That's the past 7 years. NOW, while the club is not able to be open, the staff has created new content nearly EVERY DAY in the form of live classes and videos. They are also encouraging and extremely responsive through multiple media (facebook, text, email, owl) in the middle of a pandemic. Hats off to the the staff who is able to keep up the level of emotional energy to encourage a huge crowd and talk us off the comfort-eating, comfort-lethargy ledge daily. You are appreciated!

CrossFit looks intimidating on the outside, but once you get started, you realize it's more than just a fantastic workout- It's a community! And a fun one at that! I had thought about joining a crossfit gym for some time, but was always way too nervous, as I thought it would be too tough. But after a hell of a year I decided I have nothing to lose! I read reviews of Furion and knew this was the place to be. It took a lot for me to build up the courage to go to that first class 2 months ago, but I am so happy that I did! As soon as I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a huge smile from the coaches, and the members! Somehow seeing people be that happy during a workout eased my anxieties pretty quickly! I immediately felt welcomed! The coaches are so patient, and will teach you everything you need to know as you go, with words of encouragement every step of the way. One thing that has really stood out to me is how the coaches help you get past mental blocks you might have by simply just believing in you! My first time doing deadlifts I didn't think I'd be able to lift even 50 pounds. But the coach was very confident I could do more, so I kept putting more and more weight on, until I was deadlifting my body weight. I never would've had the confidence in myself to ever attempt that, so it was a very eye opening experience for me. Although they push you to be better at every workout, they will never put pressure on you for anything! It's all about positivity and building on your last workout. This place is for anyone at any skill level, and it is truly a judgment free zone. The people here treat you like family, which I think is very unique in a gym. Last year we decided to train in AC due to the cleanliness of the gym, but the commute was an issue so when we discovered this location was under new ownership this year and we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, they did a great job cleaning up the place and rearranging the equipment. Not only was it cleaner, it was so much easier to navigate the weight room. They still need to update the locker rooms, fix the turf on the roof top and patch the drywall, but they are moving in the right direction. I could tell the new owners actually cared about the condition of the facility and took pride in the what they were doing. The equipment is more than satisfactory, but there are simple upgrades like new stretching mats that would make a huge difference. I look forward to returning next year to see what additional changes they make over the off-season.
