The nursing and tech staff are an entirely different matter. Every patient is supposed to receive a check from a nurse or tech at least once each hour. A family member was with my daughter almost all of the rime she was a patient. 4-5 hours passed before anyone checked on her in the daytime. Night time checks were even farther apart. I wonder how many patients have suffered a stroke that was missed, possibly resulting in death, certainly a delay of treatment. Pushing a call button is probably impossible when having a stroke. The response to a call button will take 20 minutes to an hour. Last, but not really least, the food is terrible. We took in most omeals for our daughter. Therapist were excellent, kind a caring. The nursing/tech staff spent more time in the nurses station goofing off than caring for patients. It was nearly impossible to sleep through their chatter and laughter.

A friend told me about them in 2018 prior to a shoulder surgery and I never went anywhere else after that. I always see Courtney and she's great. I've also seen others there when she's been on vacation, etc, and always received good care from them as well. I feel that the staff listens to their clients and works with them well. They're knowledgeable, personable, friendly, and caring. They want you to succeed! The place is clean and I really appreciate that. I've never had a problem making appointments at a time that works for me. I've recommended to friends a number of times and will continue to do so!

I'm sure he typically doesn't see first time patients over the phone, but fortunately we went to college together. With the shoulder pain that I was having, he was the first person that I trusted to give me advice on rehab and next steps. Over the phone at 11:30pm, he took the time to listen to my concerns, then have me do a few exercises to check pain, range of motion, etc. After that, he demonstrated exercises that I can use to strengthen my shoulder and suggested a maintenance plan until I can make an appointment to have it checked out. If this is the type of attention and care they give over at Athletico, I may just have to fly across the country for my physical therapy appointments. Thanks for the help - it meant a lot.

I was experiencing extreme pain in my upper back/shoulder area. I tried home remedies for a few…read moreweeks but when it got unbearable I was referred to IMove PT by my doctor. At first the therapy was difficult because I was in so much pain. I saw Dr. Joda and after 2 visits, he suggested that Dr. Gorman try dry needling. I was up for anything that would help. I must say that it isn't a pleasant experience especially being in so much pain. After 3 session of dry needling along with therapy, the pain became tolerable. I had another of 12 visits with Dr. Joda and by the time I was done I had no pain and was able to resume all normal activities. He was wonderful and I would highly recommend IMove PT for any physical therapy needs.

I've never heard anybody here complain about the care here one patient he's been at five different rehab centers and he said this one was the best. His mother was here and she loved it. that's the reason he tried it on As I said, don't mind first review hopefully I never have to go back to a rehab center but if I do, there's no question on which one I would pick everybody has been very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and I don't think you could ask for more than that. I talked to people From the CEO here to the cooks people that clean and everybody has been very pleasant to deal with, and I could not ask for more than That. The PT instructors were very knowledgeable patient and we're not afraid to tell you when you're doing something wrong. That's your job. I said I'll tell you when you do something wrong but they never yell at you. They tell you what you're doing wrong and try to explain to you what you did so you can collect your mistake

I ignored it for a while which was dumb & because of that it was really starting to affect my daily life. I had a lot of discomfort while sleeping, was limited on lifting things over my head & reaching certain ways. I also could tell my shoulder was getting weaker. My therapist at Cora Creve Coeur was Joey and we meshed so well from the start! During my first interaction with him, I could tell his expertise, professionalism and dedication were going to be second to none. You could also tell that he was incredibly caring and he listened to what I had to say about my symptoms. I felt heard with Joey and knew he was going to improve my range of motion and decrease the pain I was having. Through a very detailed & comprehensive assessment of my shoulder, he was quickly able to pinpoint what was going on & came up with a game plan of strengthening/range of motion exercises, stretches, massages, & muscle scraping techniques. PT is of course, not the most exciting thing to go through but Joey made things fun, effective and truly made a difference in my shoulder recovery. I left Cora with no pain, range of motion that was back to normal and gained so much strength back in my shoulder. It's been quite a few months since I've finished up there and my should still feels totally normal and healthy. Also wanted to say that Allison at the front desk is the sweetest person, works so hard, is professional and does everything in her power to help get patients set up with whatever they need.
