A friend told me about them in 2018 prior to a shoulder surgery and I never went anywhere else after that. I always see Courtney and she's great. I've also seen others there when she's been on vacation, etc, and always received good care from them as well. I feel that the staff listens to their clients and works with them well. They're knowledgeable, personable, friendly, and caring. They want you to succeed! The place is clean and I really appreciate that. I've never had a problem making appointments at a time that works for me. I've recommended to friends a number of times and will continue to do so!

I'm sure he typically doesn't see first time patients over the phone, but fortunately we went to college together. With the shoulder pain that I was having, he was the first person that I trusted to give me advice on rehab and next steps. Over the phone at 11:30pm, he took the time to listen to my concerns, then have me do a few exercises to check pain, range of motion, etc. After that, he demonstrated exercises that I can use to strengthen my shoulder and suggested a maintenance plan until I can make an appointment to have it checked out. If this is the type of attention and care they give over at Athletico, I may just have to fly across the country for my physical therapy appointments. Thanks for the help - it meant a lot.

I have been impressed with the variety of exercises that Mike assigns me and how effectively they reach the areas that have been causing me pain. This is my first experience with a manual physical therapist. I have been so impressed at the skill and precision Mike uses when adjusting and evaluating my muscles as Spine. He knows exactly what is going on, where I am hurting, and the areas he needs to work on to help me move better and heal. His care has helped me to improve my strength, range of motion, and balance. My 30ish daughter was just released from the stroke unit after suffering several stokes. The…read moretherapists are excellent and she made great progress! The nursing and tech staff are an entirely different matter. Every patient is supposed to receive a check from a nurse or tech at least once each hour. A family member was with my daughter almost all of the rime she was a patient. 4-5 hours passed before anyone checked on her in the daytime. Night time checks were even farther apart. I wonder how many patients have suffered a stroke that was missed, possibly resulting in death, certainly a delay of treatment. Pushing a call button is probably impossible when having a stroke. The response to a call button will take 20 minutes to an hour. Last, but not really least, the food is terrible. We took in most omeals for our daughter. Therapist were excellent, kind a caring. The nursing/tech staff spent more time in the nurses station goofing off than caring for patients. It was nearly impossible to sleep through their chatter and laughter.

The best decision I made was to go to Ozzie Smith for my knee issues. The cortisone injections…read morewere no longer working and I could no longer walk safely without the aid of canes or a walker. After getting PRP and stem cells, I was able to ride at least 2 miles on a recumbent bike in 10 minutes and 87% of my knee function was restored. I no longer walk with the aid of a cane or walker and can stand upright without knee pain or fear of falling. All of this progress is completely due to the staff at the Ozzie Smith IMAC Center. If it weren't for them, I would most likely be in a wheelchair by now.
