Through a couple months of therapy I was able to address underlying weaknesses and get back to running pain-free! Jessica not only got me back to running but the work I did at Cora set me up for a successful build up to the Chicago Marathon where I qualified for the US Olympic Trials. None of this would have been possible without the work I did at Cora! Fast-forward a little over a year and my hip pain was finally diagnosed. With COVID, it seemed like the perfect time to correct my 2 labral tears and FAI through surgical intervention. The clinic is VERY clean. Everything is carefully wiped down with@(day appropriate cleaner and all linens where changed and properly cleaned. Nothing is laying out or not in an organized manner, it's great! They have an amazing device called alt-g, an anti gravity treadmill. You can walk with 0-100% weight bearing on a treadmill, that has been SO helpful. They have parallel bars, Thera bands, mats, bikes, ellipticals, and personal treatment rooms for evaluations to maintain privacy. The entire staff, the therapists and the PSSs are amazing! If you're looking for PT, I highly recommend! I have Katie as my PT post hip surgery and she has been absolutely phenomenal!

Advanced Training & Rehab - St, Peter's, MO - 4055 North St. Peter's Parkway…read more After breaking my dominant left arm in multiple places and crushing my elbow, I wasn't sure I'd ever get back to normal. Thankfully, Dr. Lindsay Lawrence, my primary therapist, along with Zac and Brenae, have helped me make more progress than I ever thought possible. They are knowledgeable, encouraging, and somehow manage to make painful exercises seem like a good idea. They celebrate every victory, no matter how small, push me when I need it, and always treat me with kindness, patience, and respect. The staff here is amazing, but I still have one lingering suspicion. After months of therapy, I am almost convinced that if you peeled off their skin, they would turn out to be lizard people sent from another planet with advanced healing technology disguised as resistance bands and exercise equipment. Despite my best investigative efforts, they continue to appear as genuinely caring professionals who are exceptionally good at what they do. If you're recovering from an injury and need a team that knows how to help you heal while keeping your spirits up, I highly recommend them. Just don't mention the lizard people theory--they get strangely quiet whenever it's brought up. In all seriousness, I cannot say enough about their concern, compassion, and professionalism. I am still working through my recovery, but for the first time since my injury, I can truly see a path to a full recovery. That hope is due in large part to the dedication, expertise, and unwavering support of Lindsay, Zac, Brenae, and the entire team. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done for me.

He really listens and changes up his approach to do what's best for me and my recovery. I would like to deduct half a star for the state of the location. The foot straps on the ONE exercise bike they have are broken so it is hard to keep your feet on the pedals which isn't great when you're trying hard to cycle & get a full revolution and your feet keep slipping off and they have very little exercise equipment. There is a hole in the wall and peeling paint...Just a general look of neglect by the corporate office. I can't fault the people that work there for that. It's all about the people and they make the place great. The ladies at the front desk are also very welcoming and helpful.

The best decision I made was to go to Ozzie Smith for my knee issues. The cortisone injections…read morewere no longer working and I could no longer walk safely without the aid of canes or a walker. After getting PRP and stem cells, I was able to ride at least 2 miles on a recumbent bike in 10 minutes and 87% of my knee function was restored. I no longer walk with the aid of a cane or walker and can stand upright without knee pain or fear of falling. All of this progress is completely due to the staff at the Ozzie Smith IMAC Center. If it weren't for them, I would most likely be in a wheelchair by now.

I ignored it for a while which was dumb & because of that it was really starting to affect my daily life. I had a lot of discomfort while sleeping, was limited on lifting things over my head & reaching certain ways. I also could tell my shoulder was getting weaker. My therapist at Cora Creve Coeur was Joey and we meshed so well from the start! During my first interaction with him, I could tell his expertise, professionalism and dedication were going to be second to none. You could also tell that he was incredibly caring and he listened to what I had to say about my symptoms. I felt heard with Joey and knew he was going to improve my range of motion and decrease the pain I was having. Through a very detailed & comprehensive assessment of my shoulder, he was quickly able to pinpoint what was going on & came up with a game plan of strengthening/range of motion exercises, stretches, massages, & muscle scraping techniques. PT is of course, not the most exciting thing to go through but Joey made things fun, effective and truly made a difference in my shoulder recovery. I left Cora with no pain, range of motion that was back to normal and gained so much strength back in my shoulder. It's been quite a few months since I've finished up there and my should still feels totally normal and healthy.
