First, let me say I'm not sure I've ever left a bad review for anyone before. Just don't go here. I fell for the sales pitch and paid the expensive package cost only to discover it didn't actually cover everything like we were led to beliy. They charged my card a large total for additional supplements. We trusted the functional medicine only to find out the Dr we signed up with was overbooked and we were given Dr Anthony who seems to be a Dr in training as he didn't always know what to tell us and kept insisting that my son stop drinking soda when he hasn't had more than maybe two sodas ever in his life. After spending all that money and being charged extra without a warning that our supplement credits were almost up, my sons health has not improved. read more

I was in a car accident in 2009. It was bad! I am disabled because of the car accident. I have 3 bulging discs and the beginning of degenerate bone disease. I have tried everything minus surgery to help my back. The spinal decompression was literally my last hope at more than a half life. Half way threw treatment and I feel like a whole new person. I know I will never be 100% pain free again but I have gotten past to where I feel like I am at least at a solid 50% which for me is fabulous! read more

The only reason why I went here is because when I called they said they took my insurance. After my second appointment they told me my insurance won't cover anything and my bill would be $3,000 if I wanted to continue. I said I couldn't pay it and they kept pushing me to open up a line of credit. I said no I didn't want to, but after some pushing (on their part) I agreed to see if I would qualify. They told me I did but I told them NO I don't want to open anything. A few days later I get a credit card in the mail and it turns out they submitted me and opened up a care credit account. I called care credit right away and closed the account. I by no means gave any permission to open anything and now my credit score dropped. They are pushy people and do not explain things thoroughly or listen when you tell them NO. Not coming back here again. read more

I much prefer preventative care to being treated for illness or injury, so I was happy to visit Wellness Connection at the recommendation of my doula. Dr. Whitney Hamed, one of their fabulous chiropractors, specializes in the Webster Technique, which is specific to pregnant women. The technique aims to get the baby in the optimal position for an easier labor and birth by making sure everything is properly aligned and pelvic muscles and ligaments are balanced. It's also particularly helpful to women whose babies are in breech position, oftentimes allowing the babies to turn on their own, thereby avoiding C-sections and all that accompany that type of surgery. My baby wasn't breech-positioned, but after hearing that women treated with the Webster technique typically have shorter, less painful labors, I thought I'd give it a try. I was also hoping to stave off the sciatic pain many women experience during pregnancy by maintaining a healthy alignment with an ever-growing belly. I am so, so grateful to Dr. Whitney (and Dr. Jason, who adjusted me on the couple occasions she was unavailable) for helping keep me comfortable and healthy during my pregnancy! The adjustments made a notable difference in reducing (and removing) the lower back pain I experienced. My labor wasn't especially short, but it was absolutely normal for a first-time mom (13 hours) and I'm certain that the work Dr. Whitney did helped me have an easy, unmedicated labor & delivery. I'd recommend her services to any pregnant woman interested in maintaining her health, getting more comfortable in her rapidly changing body, naturally turning a breech baby and/or having a VBAC. Every staff member I encountered at the Chiropractic Wellness Connection was incredibly nice and genuinely interested in the health & well-being of their clients. Also, Nicole is quite possibly THE friendliest front-desk staffer ever. She was so helpful and just a pleasure to interact with. My only complaint is with the office location, but I don't feel it's fair to dock a star for that... Still... Why oh WHY must you be all the way out in O'FALLON?? read more

Literally some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Dr. J is professional and great at what he does and cares for every patient on a personal level and gets to know you well. I went in there for chronic neck pain that I had been dealing with for over 5 years after a work injury. I saw many doctors for it over the years and they all would prescribe temporary fixes for the pain, Dr. J and his staff helped correct my back and neck and now my neck is 110% better. Not only that, but they helped me developed a healthier lifestyle with a meal routine from their nutritionist and I've lost almost 50lbs since I started seeing them. I suffered a disc injury at L3-4, L4-5 six months prior to treating with Dr. Jay. I had radiating pain into both legs, numbness in my right outer thigh and the constant pain was interfering with every part of my life.
