I grew up as a ballerina and needless to say it wasn't that easy on my body - I trained on concrete floors, pushed my muscles to the limit, and it ended up taking a huge toll on me once I hit my mid-twenties. For the past year and a half, I have only slept 3-5 hours a night, was often limping on my right leg, and was basically learning to just live with the pain. I went to so many doctors and spent thousands of dollars only to be told to try antidepressants. I was met with blank stares because my scans were all clean, and that it was a muscular issue. After the orthopedic route, I tried massage, sensory deprivation floating, and everything in between. I was basically taking Advil every few hours and still not sleeping. Nancy made my first visit so comfortable - I told her I didn't want my neck adjusted because it just freaked me out too much, and she gladly obliged (even though I bet she was secretly rolling her eyes at me.) Over the past 5-6 weeks I've been doing a combination of electro stem, acupuncture, and adjustments. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a quick fix - I had some painful days for sure, but each week I've gotten better and I'm now officially at zero pain. I can't even believe it. My visits are becoming less and less frequent and I'm even back to the treadmill and light workouts. I am seriously so grateful for Nancy and also her awesome receptionist Lisa who is so friendly and makes appointment scheduling easy! Can't recommend this practice enough. The office is off of Lindbergh (closer to I-55) it's fairly easy to find. Parking lot is a tight squeeze. Nice clean office, albeit smallish with about 4-6 chairs. After being greeted by Jenny, I didn't wait long for consult maybe 5-8 mins whilst Dr. LeBlanc finished with another patient. Here is my Chiropractic visit in three easy steps.. First, a brief history, the doc made suggestions. Then, into a massage room where a lovely woman (sorry, can't remember her name) placed pads on my back connected an EStim machine... Wow! She was extremely kind and knowledgeable, thank you! Lastly, a chiropractic adjustment, whew!! some temporary relief from clicking. Hurrah!! The dr. determined I only need a couple more visits.

A little background to help you understand my perspective. I am in the healthcare profession and super picky about who I chose for any healthcare provider for my family or I and I do a ton of research on them, read all reviews, etc before deciding one. My 10 year old son was diagnosed with generalized anxiety and panic attacks when he was just 5 years old after a major life event. His pediatrician recommended a high protein diet, sleep schedule, among other things all of which I did and my son did not show any Improvement. His doctor then recommended CBD. While it was effective, I didn't want my young son to think that every-time he had an issue/panic attack that turning to "drugs" was the answer. I felt it was setting him up for possible future issues thinking substances were the answer. During all of this, he was seeing a counselor, who my son loved. When I didn't feel like the counselor was making any progress as there wasn't any change in my son, we switched counselors who gave us several helpful strategies, such as "telling the bad or the "bully" thoughts to shut up and to replace those thought with positive ones. This was occasionally helpful. You see, when your own child is having these thoughts, on the verge of a panic attack and you, as a parent, tell him to do as the counselor suggests, it appeared to be too late as he "wouldn't listen" or take my advise to stop the thoughts, etc and would still have a panic attack. Bringing us to two months ago. Dr. Lynn at Core Chiropractic and Acupuncture was recommended to me by a friend. I did not hesitate to take my son there. I have been through 5 years of anxiety, panic attacks, and all of the above mentioned changes all which felt like all resulted in wasted time. Dr. Lynn listened carefully, asked me and my son questions. She really took her time to understand the full situation. (Not many doctors or healthcare professionals do this anymore). It is really hard to find one who does. Anyway, Dr. Lynn gave my son an adjustment and performed acupuncture on him. As of today, my sons has had 3 or 4 adjustments and acupuncture at the same time. In that small amount of time, she practically erased 5 years of anxiety and panic attacks. I am not kidding! My son went to an overnight camp where previously he would have never spent the night anywhere out of fear. He started a new school this year since he is now in 5th grade. While he was nervous on his first day, he did not show any signs of anxiety or have a panic attack like he would have in the past. Furthermore, he has been in school for 2 weeks and absolutely LOVES it. He used to hate school because of the anxiety it brought him. As a mom who has spent 5 years trying at what felt like absolutely everything and not seeing anything work, I felt helpless. Lynn is a miracle worker! I cannot believe the changes in my son. He is like a new kid!!! I literally cry tears of joy and relief at the changes in him. The other day, I asked him what he thought helped his anxiety and what changed.
