Both times for injuries affecting my training and daily activities (e.g., ability to walk, work, etc. - let alone race). To me it is important to share: This practice crossed very serious ethical and professional boundaries during the course of my care. When I raised concerns in an attempt to resolve the issues, my concerns were not addressed. The issues persisted and in fact escalated. Rather than addressing any of this, OPC instead terminated my care. Following termination, I dealt with repeated contact and inappropriate behavior from individuals associated with the practice, actions which were intrusive and extremely distressing. All of this significantly affected my sense of safety and well-being and continues to do so. Patients enter clinical care expecting professionalism, boundaries, ethical conduct, and accountability. Those standards were certainly not upheld. I have had great experiences at many other practices across the St. Louis region. I cannot more strongly recommend that patients look elsewhere.

The only reason I'm writing this review is I'm at my 7:20am appointment and it's 7:42 and he still has a patient ahead of me. Targeting About a 30 -40 minute wait time. Again, my time was 720am. I'm supposed to be home feeding my.little girl who has down syndrome. My wife has waited as long as 2 hrs past her time. Again, we are still patients. The wait is worth it as our issues are getting resolved health wise, but you'll want to plan ahead like bring a book like war and peace or build a house while waiting or I don't know solve time travel. You'll have time for all of those.

Over the years, I have been lucky enough to work with Dr. Fishel directly and while I still receive adjustments from her every now and then, most of my adjustments are provided by Dr. Christine Carson. Every now and then, they have students in the room to observe and I have even been adjusted by a student, Dr. Isabelle. Of course, it's scary to offer my body as practice for a student, but I have full trust in her and know that she would not be adjusting if she was not fully ready and prepared. The front desk gal, Julie, is a delight and I just love how friendly she is when I arrive. The energy in this office is just what I need and I am really happy to continue working with this team. My body feels so much better than it ever has. While sometimes it takes a few tries to get my body cracked or adjusted, we work together to get things moving the right way and as the team knows, I laugh when a good 'pop' happens. It's really the best part of my week. Maybe last year (or the year prior) they began offering packages for adjustments which can help save some money so I signed up for a package which means I am going to continue for at least another year! My migraines are now much more manageable and while I was first apprehensive about acupuncture, I am excited to tell everyone I meet how helpful it has been. I'd much rather have regular acupuncture appointments than be on a heavy duty SNRI medication. Dr. Young has also treated me for muscle spasms I get from my chronic pain issues and given me spinal adjustments when I've needed them. She is always understanding of my not wanting to have my neck adjusted, as that is something that I just don't care to have done. She has evening and Saturday hours which make it easy to make an appointment that works for my schedule. And I am so happy with her new location off of Hampton - lots of parking and no loud traffic noise like there was at the previous location. I cannot recommend Dr. Young enough!

I grew up as a ballerina and needless to say it wasn't that easy on my body - I trained on concrete floors, pushed my muscles to the limit, and it ended up taking a huge toll on me once I hit my mid-twenties. For the past year and a half, I have only slept 3-5 hours a night, was often limping on my right leg, and was basically learning to just live with the pain. I went to so many doctors and spent thousands of dollars only to be told to try antidepressants. I was met with blank stares because my scans were all clean, and that it was a muscular issue. After the orthopedic route, I tried massage, sensory deprivation floating, and everything in between. I was basically taking Advil every few hours and still not sleeping. I had always had a negative opinion of chiropractors and I'm not sure why... but I was always against the idea, even when I was really being pushed to go by someone who saw the pain firsthand. I guess I finally got to a point where I would try anything, and I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Nancy. I'm actually really bummed I didn't do it much earlier. Nancy made my first visit so comfortable - I told her I didn't want my neck adjusted because it just freaked me out too much, and she gladly obliged (even though I bet she was secretly rolling her eyes at me.) Over the past 5-6 weeks I've been doing a combination of electro stem, acupuncture, and adjustments. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a quick fix - I had some painful days for sure, but each week I've gotten better and I'm now officially at zero pain. I can't even believe it. My visits are becoming less and less frequent and I'm even back to the treadmill and light workouts. The approach he uses is gentle and very effective for whatever I am needing. Other chiropractors I have gone to in the past have patients going to see them weekly or more, but here I usually only have to go see Dr. Pat every few months and my husband even less. If I had a bad fall or have injured myself in sports I may need to see him more frequently, but only for a short time. This is because the techniques used at atrium are really effective.
