My freshman year of high school was very rough for me. I had stabbing chest pains and would get so dizzy sitting in class that I would almost pass out; and that was when I wasn't doing anything. When I was actually doing something, it was much worse. It would happen while I was cheering, playing the trumpet, marching in 90° heat in a wool marching uniform, while singing in the choir, playing soccer.. It was very difficult to deal with! I felt weak and hopeless. It was very embarrassing. My mother took me to many different doctors and hospitals; I had many tests done from EKG's, to MRI's, to blood work, and the doctors couldn't figure anything out. In a last attempt to help, they just told me to cut caffeine out of my life, increase my salt intake, snack more during the day, and consume more water. This didn't help at all. I still dealt with these problems from my freshman year, to the summer before my senior year of high school. After a torn labrum in my shoulder, that summer before my senior year, I started going to Mehringer Chiropractic. After just a few questions, watching my movements, and a few minutes, they had figured out the reasons behind everything! My ribs tend to rotate, which gave me that stabbing feeling I had, and my body, especially my neck and shoulders, were out of alignment from all of those years I had spent being an athlete, so they fixed that, and I wasn't getting dizzy anymore. No more pain! I wasn't scared to do all of the things I love anymore, and I was having so much more fun. I wish I had known about chiropractic care sooner, because now, I can live a normal life.

Amazing docs and services. They have kept me going for the last three years now. If your looking…read morefor top notch chiropractic or regenerative medicine this is the place to go.

I grew up as a ballerina and needless to say it wasn't that easy on my body - I trained on concrete floors, pushed my muscles to the limit, and it ended up taking a huge toll on me once I hit my mid-twenties. For the past year and a half, I have only slept 3-5 hours a night, was often limping on my right leg, and was basically learning to just live with the pain. I went to so many doctors and spent thousands of dollars only to be told to try antidepressants. I was met with blank stares because my scans were all clean, and that it was a muscular issue. After the orthopedic route, I tried massage, sensory deprivation floating, and everything in between. I was basically taking Advil every few hours and still not sleeping. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? Hello, walking zombie Aimee. I had always had a negative opinion of chiropractors and I'm not sure why... but I was always against the idea, even when I was really being pushed to go by someone who saw the pain firsthand. I guess I finally got to a point where I would try anything, and I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Nancy. I'm actually really bummed I didn't do it much earlier. Nancy made my first visit so comfortable - I told her I didn't want my neck adjusted because it just freaked me out too much, and she gladly obliged (even though I bet she was secretly rolling her eyes at me.) Over the past 5-6 weeks I've been doing a combination of electro stem, acupuncture, and adjustments. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a quick fix - I had some painful days for sure, but each week I've gotten better and I'm now officially at zero pain. I can't even believe it. My visits are becoming less and less frequent and I'm even back to the treadmill and light workouts. I am seriously so grateful for Nancy and also her awesome receptionist Lisa who is so friendly and makes appointment scheduling easy! Can't recommend this practice enough. Stop thinking about it and just go! PS. Wish I could give a sixth star just because I got to meet her cute rescue doggie the last time I was in.

Dr Joe has been nothing short of amazing when it comes to his practice. Not only is he personable,…read morelistens, & one on one with his patients who come to see him, but he knows his stuff and has corrected my problems to where I don't feel like I need to see him within three days or the next week, like I've had to with other places (nothing wrong with other chiropractors, they are also great, but Dr Joe has really helped my back & neck issues.) his chair is a drop chair, he doesn't twist you like a pretzel. He double books himself and uses a warm towel on patients to relax the muscles while adjusting another patient in the other room, which is pretty smart. His clinic is walk in only, no appointment needed. This has been beneficial for me, as when I'm in pain I can just stop by on my day off instead of scheduling an appointment one week in advance when I'm hurting now. The issue to that for other people however, may be the waiting time. It won't be no 10 minute wait like other offices. One rare occurrence I waited 15-30 minutes, but usually I have waited 2 hours to get in. Now you don't actually have to wait there for 2 hours; since Covid began there is a ticket stand to grab a number. Patients can grab a ticket and can either sit in their car, sit in the waiting room, or go grab food & run errands depending on the time and how many people are ahead of them. It's quite convenient sometimes for those who have things to do in the meantime until it's time to get adjusted. For those who are curious, they do take some insurances here, not sure which insurances they don't take. Great place all around, & the receptionist is awesome as well.
