I had no problem with these guys when they moved my stuff. They were quick and friendly. The day of my move they did have a problem with the mover before me who wasn't able to get into their apartment. It was a little annoying BUT it's a local company and I really appreciated how well they kept in contact with me. They called me throughout the day to give me updates and they offered options on how to deal with the situation. Overall it wasn't a perfect move, but it seemed like it wasn't their fault and they handled it as well as could be expected. read more

I want to start off by stating that I used this company in 2013 with no issue- HOWEVER- on 7/22/17 I was scheduled to move and had spotty communication from this company, and I also had a text from the owner (I believe) that stated they would be to my residence at 9am - by 9:15 I started calling and I text that number that I had with no luck- I finally left a voicemail with NO CALL back and then I called 2 more times and it went right to voicemail. I believe at that point the phone was just shut off- I believe that one of the most stressful days is MOVING and Ironically enough this company caused ME A GREAT deal of unwatned and unnecessary stress, which resulted in me calling another company which I will review as well- I do not know if this company is even still in business, however I would NOT recommend them AT ALL- I also heard via facebook that they were "ill' on her moving day as well. read more

Being that I am a new single parent and a full time student, and after spending hours upon hours and days trying to find the most affordable movers in town, these guys were the best priced. I was moving in 4 weeks and I needed a good stress free move. However, I had received many of professional phone calls from other companies giving me quotes for my move in regards to the information that I provided for them. After I explained to Bill (one of the owners) that I would be only moving down the street a mile and a half, he assured me that the base of his business was to "NOT STRESS." Catchy!! * (SO I THOUGHT) So I stopped my search thinking that the hardest part was over. I had continued to contact the movers because as the date was getting closer, my move date had to be changed to the following weekend. No biggie if it was an extra week out. I had left several messages on the "Bill" voicemail and he never returned my phone call in all of 3 weeks time when I called 4 times to confirm the date. I had to tell him that I was going to go with someone else in order to get a courtesy call from them. In my mind, if I ahve to call and call and call and then use a scare tactic to get an answer, that is a red flag. I had called Stress Less moving (again) for the 6th time now, the week of the move to confirm my move date of October 6th at 1pm. (no return call). I had called them for the 7th time on the friday morning before to confirm and make sure they had my address for the next day. (no answer or return phone call) The day of the move. *Now I am scared and my stress levels are at the Highest ever because I don't have a confirmation call, email, courtesy call and not even a voicemail that they are going to show up. *I call Stress less moving at 8am.( No answer) *Bill calls me back and begins to tell me that they are not sure if they can move me by 1 o'clock because he is feeling "under the weather". *REALLY??!!?? I had to scurry around and find a different moving company at 8am on the day of my move costing me $611.00 total. Here is my point. I would NEVER recommend these guys to anyone trying to price surf the internet for moving companies in Mn. They are completely unprofessional, inconsiderate and incompetent. They say they want to make your move less stressful and that is their motto, but what it doesn't say is.................... It's not stressful for them!!!!!!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Worst experience moving and I've moved a lot. As a prior military guy, I've moved several times and Stressless Moving was one of the worst decisions I made. Started off bad by unprofessional etiquette by Bill. I couldn't get a confirmation email or anything to verify I had them locked up for my move day. Just unprofessional text telling me he thinks we are good to go. When moving, he broke a piece of equipment and assured me he would order replacement and come fix it. We go back and forth for a few weeks and then when it comes time for him to help us fix the equipment, he falls off the grid. He lied about ordering the part and then went into shady mode when push came to shove. Please don't waste your time with these morons that cause more stress for your move. No integrity and they don't live up to the name "Stress Less." read more

Do not use this company. When they showed up they looked like hicks. Not sure where these guys came from.They said they will bring boxes. Sure but they just tossed my items in. They did not bring any blankets. They did not even know how to pack. They broke items and would not replace them. Even though they said they were licensed and bonded. Bill Hannan sold me a PS3 off Craigslist, 2 controllers were broken. about the situation he said he would go and buy two more wireless controllers, bill doesn't return my phone calls bill doesn't respond to my text messages I can't imagine how someone who acts like this in their personal life must treat their customers. that was over a month ago. So stress less moving and yo I just want Bill Hannon to do what he promised and make good on his Craigslist transaction its what he promised and should make his Craigslist transaction correct. .. you have some bad reviews coming up here soon read more

Bitterly disappointing. At first meeting, Bill was straightforward and friendly. He assured me he could handle our move in a day and a half, at the most. He asked for a partial deposit and then the remainder on the first day of the move. He called to say he would be late on the first day and then said he had to leave early after he arrived. He assured us he would be back the next day to finish the move. He came back the next day, and again had to leave early but assured us he would call us in a day or two to set up a time to finish. He never called back. I called him daily for 8 days with absolutely no response. He wrote on our contract that he would finish the complete move for a flat fee. We paid the complete fee. For all appearances, this man seemed trustworthy. Do NOT be deceived!! He took our money and completely reneged on the contract. read more

These guys were great. I had to move out of a storage unit plus temporary basement living and into our new house. They arrived on time, took really good care of our stuff and were willing to help out moving some things around once we got to the house. They were very reasonably priced and their help was much appreciated. I would highly recommend these guys for moving. Thanks! read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone.They damaged an expensive piece of furniture and promised to come back and fix it, but I was the one who had to call them a week later to make an appointment for the repair. The appointment was set up, and I was told by the owner how honest the company is and how they pride themselves on integrity and he even told me to notice that they had not cashed my check yet. Sadly however, he was a no-show for the scheduled appointment and I was the one who had to call again. I was told there was a conflict and we rescheduled only to have a repeat no-show. My check has been cashed and my calls are being unanswered. As I settle into my new home I notice other new scratches and dents on furtniture and even a hole in one of my upholstery pieces. I wish I had watched them place things on the truck that day as I am sure now things were not properly wrapped. This is not a professional company!!! read more

I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. They are extremely unprofessional, unresponsive, and left me without help the day of my move. I wish I could give them zero stars. Similar to another review, this company did not call to confirm the move date and time. I had made the reservation a month in advance. I had to call them several times and was unable to leave messages because their voicemail was full. They were supposed to show up at 8AM and they finally called me at 1:45PM and asked if I still needed help. I told them yes, and the owner said that he would make some phone calls and get back to me. He never called back and did not respond to texts or phone calls. I eventually had to call a friend with a truck to help me move everything in the rain. Maybe these guys are good movers, but it's tough to judge them on that when they never showed up. I'm assuming they had a bigger move come up and went with that job instead.
