Not only does the BATKAVE have top-notch equipment, but JAZ made feel welcome & very at home!!! The song that I recorded there with JAZ came out better than I could ever hope for! Being able to hold a note or two helped, but without the EXPERTISE of JAZ with his VOCAL ARRANGEMENT, my song would have just been mediocre. The sound quality is GREAT, my mix came out GREAT, he even equilized my beat for better overall sound! Jaz is truly one of (if not) SAN DIEGO'S WEST KEPT SECRET!!! Jaz took me step by step through each vocal, giving me & at times correcting my notes, but letting me do what it is I wanted to do with my song, more coaching than changing. I eneded up with the song I brought to to him, coming out 10 times better than what I recorded on my own. He made me actually sound good! My project has to be recorded with JAZ, I just don't trust anyone else with it!!! JAZ is truly a phenomenal PRODUCER, ENGINEER,VOCAL ARRANGER & all around BUSINESS MAN!!! I appreciate the fact mostly that he's an honest guy, if it didn't sound good he said so (in a not hurtful way) & corrected it! Alot of engineers just click buttons & recieve thier payment! Jaz actually cares about the product he works on (whether he produced himself or not), & that's saying alot!!! I dare you to just try working with him once, it'll change the way you look at your music... I DARE YOU!!! Steve-O.G.

Our band needed to have our songs mixed since the person who first did them did an average job at best. Peter's prices were great and he had an awesome attitude with optimism for how the songs would turn out, so I entrusted him with the job. The guy did amazing work and couldn't believe how our EP ended up turning out. I eventually used him again for another solo project and each time, he's always been extremely accommodating to the vision I have for my songs, while also being critical and helpful through the process. Don't pass Peter and his studio up.

Peter was very professional and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that all of my bases were covered prior to sending him the tracks so that they would be ready to mix on his end (which I'm thankful for since I haven't the slightest clue). I also opted to record the vocals in his studio after initial hesitance but was glad I was able to. Peter was able to give me some pointers throughout the recording session about how to deliver my vocals so that they best fit the song's energy. All in all, Peter is the go-to guy if you want to get a great sounding song for a solid price. He can be as hands-off or hands-on to the whole process as you want (though if you're smart, you'll go with a more hands-on approach since he knows his stuff). Aside from being knowledgeable, Peter is laidback, accommodating, and an overall great dude who's passion really shows through his work. 12/10 would work with him again.

Tom absolutely changed my life. You are probably thinking this is one of his friends just trying to…read morebeef up his reviews but keep reading and I will tell you how. I had been playing the guitar for about 6 months. I learned a few chords from youtube videos and other online sources but felt like I had hit a wall. I began looking into lessons. My goal at the time was to play and sing a song to my wife at our upcoming wedding. I began my lessons with Tom. As the lessons progressed he helped me learn better technique and guitar theory while also helping me gain more confidence as a singer. Once I got better, he suggested that I hit a couple open mic nights to practice singing in front of a crowd. Obviously I was nervous so Tom went above and beyond and went to open mic nights with me. To be honest I never would have had the courage to do it on my own. He took his free time and used it to help me prepare for my wedding performance. The night of the wedding I absolutely nailed it. Not a dry eye in the house. I went from never playing the guitar in my life to playing in front of 150 people in a little over a year. I owe Tom a lot of credit for that evening and for helping me realize my abilities. I now play guitar almost every day and if I ever have any questions or can't figure something out, Tom is always right there when I need him. Tom is not only knowledgeable and talented, he genuinely cares. The guy has the biggest heart and I can without a doubt say he will not stop until you are completely happy with the results. He had multiple multiple cameras to catch so many different angles and different vantage points of the celebration. I was very impressed when I saw the final video that he created. We had our wedding in August of 2025, and the videography Charlie and his team provided was way…read morebeyond my expectations. We were a last-minute booking for him and his team. Charlie was able to find a person to cover our wedding just a couple days before the wedding date. He has excellent examples of different styles of videography they could provide and what that pricing would look like. Charlie's website is perfectly user-friendly and was precise in their package descriptions and pricing. We personally did not want cinematic style videography that would require a lot of editing on their end. We wanted raw footage that we could keep for generations to show to our future children and grandchildren. The videographer did a phenomenal job at recording the ceremony and some of the reception in an authentic way that encapsulated the feeling of one of the greatest days of our lives. The videographer that covered our wedding, Stephen Daniels, had an exceptional understanding of Charlie's expectations on customer service. Charlie was constantly responsive before the big day and clear about when we should expect the files after the wedding. When he offered additional services in the emails, he presented it in a way that demonstrated his genuine care for weddings and events and not just an "upsell." I could see Charlie's customer service extend to Stephen. Stephen and Charlie knew we went with the most affordable package. Even so, Stephen set up a higher quality microphone and brought two cameras for backup. Charlie's website explains other services he could provide such as DJ-ing. Luckily, my husband is a DJ, but we did have quite a few live singers at our reception. Although we could not afford the microphone package for sound on the live singers, Stephen took the time out of recording to help one of the live singers with their sound quality on their devices. Our wedding was genuinely a DIY wedding ran by the power of Hashem and our community. When Stephen walked into the ceremony space, the most prominent visual part of our wedding, the Chuppah, a canopy in which many Jewish ceremonies take place was not set up. Stephen took time to help our friends and staff with the chuppah. Charlie and Stephen were not required to go beyond expectations, but they did that and then some. Although Charlie markets his work as "cheap videography," he certainly does not cheap out on the quality of their customer service and work. We were close to deciding on cutting out videography from our budget, but we are so pleased we chose to prioritize it as an essential part of our wedding day. https://youtu.be/FiME9qY3UMk?si=NK6riLqz9mXp9z3o
