Being inexperienced I wasn't expecting a real professional recording studio to take me. I was soon wrong when I came across Noize Factory in El Cajon. I messaged Bernard and told him my story about me being inexperienced. He soon replied and told me that he'd be more than happy to help me record my song. Bernard was able to get me in the studio fast. Efrain was very professional and helped me through everything. We were able to record my song, edit it, and master it in about an hour and a half and then he took the time to teach me about recording. It was very educational and I was very greatful for him for doing that. Overall I had an amazing experience and I can't wait to come back. Thanks guys

So just about every band in San Diego has a studio room out here. I am very much a fan of the…read morerehearsal space provided for bands considering neighbors and police love looking for noise violations. Superior Sound is the shelter for their reckless sound creations. The building is large and industrial with ample amounts of rooms, I think there are over 20 rooms. I'll have to check on that one. The rooms rented out are over 400 bucks a month which is not a hefty fee to pay for a service like this. Rooms are average sized and some have multilevel to them to get that "onstage feeling" to them. The owner is super chill and makes his rounds quite frequently communicating with the bands but I hear is a stickler about rent money being on time. Ample parking available and good networking opportunities with the bands who call the studio home.

He has helped me as well as many other bands during hard times by cutting rent for a few months. He has a great recording studio in the rehearsal building that he offer low rates to bands that rehearse there. Not to mention I heard him playing guitar one night, WOW he kicks a@#. Here is a list of what I love about the place - Great prices on rooms - Very clean facility - Vending machines in the lobby - Recording Studio (Low rates for bands) - Cameras all over the place - The owner is very chill and gets things done - Wifi access (This is a plus for my band) - 24 hour access I can't say much about any cons as this is the best rehearsal studio I have ever been to. The bands are great to hang with. The owner is a real great guy. The over all vibe is just music. The only down fall is trying to get a room. When my last band broke up I had to wait 6 months to get a room. they fill quick but worth the wait. The number to this place is 619-995-2228 I have seen other number posted but this is the one I call.

I contacted Alan Sanderson at Pacificbeatstudios.com I set an appointment to tour the facilities and explain my vision for the 7 song EP. The place is very comfortable, with wood and and an earthy vibe, which all artists know is almost more important than the gear. Alan's many years in the business allow him to immediately grasp your vision and help you take it to the next level. This is a first class facility, with bathroom, snack area and temperature controlled. He had all the gear setup when we arrived to record. We did 7 songs in 4 hours and it took another 6 hours of editing, mixing mastering to get what I know to be the best recording possible. I highly recommend you bypass other studios and go to a pro that will ensure the finest finished product possible. But if you're like me and value friendly service, and quality instruments at reasonable prices you'll most likely love this store.
