This is a covid review of their "Breakfast Club." With many of us only wanting to to take-out or curbside, Red Eye has us covered! They have partnered with Red Eye Cofee, a local coffee house, to offer a Breakfast Club. Each week they pick a different location to bring fresh cooked goodness and wonderful beverages to your door. Place your order by Wednesday and it will be delivered to your door on Friday. And if you are not in their neighborhood that they will be serving that week, have no fear: you can place an order to pick it up! We ordered the Hakuna Frittata filled with meat, some cinnamon rolls filled with bacon, and a jug of cold brew. It showed up right on time and they have amazing customer service: you can track them online via the link in email, and they will text/call you when they have delivered! Perfect! Everything is pre-cooked and just needs to be heated (20 min for frittata, 10 for cinnamon roll). And everything heated up perfectly...just like we were being served fresh from initial cooking. The frittata was amazing, and can easily serve 4. The cinnamon rolls can also serve 2 each (but you almost certainly want your own) and were warm and gooey. The coffee was the outstanding Red Eye cold brew. For a little over $30 we had breakfast delivered that will feed us for two mornings. I am so glad that they are doing this, and am happy to help 2, small local businesses. read more

Kind of hard to believe this place is an actual business. Of all the food I've seen other people get (I wasnt lucky enough to be able to order due to being out of everything) , it looks as if a 2nd grader was in the truck. To say service is terrible would be an understatement - its actually laughable to have to wait in line for 45 minutes only for the cashier to say they are out of most menu items once I finally got to the front of the line - mind you, these are sandwiches and sides that are served could be served at a little league baseball game. Just another joke "food" business that operates in Tallahassee. I guess anybody can do anything these days ay? Words of advice - go to 7/11 and you'd probably spend your money more wisely. Street chefs is okay. I got the Shepard wrap and my friend got the hippie. She did not like the hippie that much. It was just a regular vegan sandwich, nothing spectacular about it. My Shepard wrap was decent but not amazing either. The service and staff here is excellent however, and they got our food out in a timely manner and are all really friendly. We also got a free cinnamon bacon dessert for checking in on yelp. It was good but couldn't finish it all and the bacon was an interesting twist. I will definitely come back and try other things on the menu, the aromas just standing near the truck makes your mouth water. read more

I've had the food here in the past and it was quite yummy, however at the most recent first Friday a friend of mine who is vegetarian ordered a black bean burger with fries and paid only to find out *after paying* that they did not have black bean burgers. As opposed to refunding her money back, the only offered to give her three orders of fries?? Why have food on a menu that should have been striked off to begin with? I understand things are busy and hectic but a simple sharpie could've saved my friend some money. Again, great small business but a customer service snafu that could've been avoided. read more

I used Street Chefs to cater a recent event, and they were wonderful! Rebecca (owner) was responsive and flexible in planning and creating the menu. The staff was great during the actual event, checking on drinks and making sure guests were taken care of. Also, there was so much less clean up than other options! read more

This truck was a part of Food Truck Thursday here in Tallahassee. I was here for an event and was told about this gathering of food trucks. This truck has mostly grilled cheese sandwiches that they do and do well. I went with Allie J which was a grilled cheese with a lot of cheese and they put in a quite tasty basil pesto and bacon. To tell you the truth when I was reading the menu and got to bacon I stopped right there. They also grilled this sandwich to perfection to this old man. The sandwich was really good and there is a ton of different cheeses. Cheddar, provolone, muenster, and a herb crime cheese. I.am fixin to be here for a few weeks and this truck will be on my list. read more

Delicious! I had the "Chelsea," which is sort of like a Shepherd's Pie in a wrap, with macaroni and cheese & bacon. Yes, bacon. How do they fit it all into a wrap? I think it must be magic. The cinnamon bacon rolls are also amazeballs, but don't take my word for it - go get one and reward yourself. My only gripe with the "Chelsea" is that some of my vegetables were under cooked, and biting into a hard carrot is a little disheartening. However, I'd give it another go, and try one of those grilled cheeses that everyone raves about. read more

Stopped by this food truck the other day during my lunch hour. The food was amazing and it came out really quick. Customer service was excellent and the lady was very friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. I ordered the Chelsea wrap, which included Sheppards pie, mac n cheese, and bacon. The wrap was amazingly delicious and filled me up. Will be coming back to try more entrees! read more

I braved the cold weather to find the truck downtown off MLK and Gaines Street. It was worth it. I had a "Not Your Mama's Grilled Cheese" add bacon. It's several types of cheese, tomato, basil and bacon. Very delicious. The macaroni and cheese side was very flavorful. The macaroni was al dente, which I happen to like, but it's not very traditional. The chefs seemed very enthusiastic about what they were doing and eager to please their customers. I look forward to trying something different when I go back. read more

This is just my personal pallet opinion and keep in mind I'm not big on American food. My hubby wanted to try this place because it had good reviews and there was a line in front of the truck. I liked the free dessert we got off the yelp offer and the free hot chocolate, but the food he ordered was so-so in my personal opinion. The Chelsea is okay, the cinnamon roll is okay, and the cheese sandwich was okay. Most of it I can make myself at home for less than half the price and edit the ingredients to my personal pallet. I thought also it was a bit expensive (newly college grad student budget). Though on a good note, the people that worked/own the place were very nice. read more

Fantastic! My daughter's wedding at Dorothy B Oven was catered by them March 25, 2012. The weather was perfect and so was our food and service. For our eighty or so guests attending, there were nine persons making everything go smoothly. Our breakfast buffet - Belgian waffles, 4 cheese quiche, bacon, sausage, hash brows, fruit and biscuits. On each guest table were fresh blueberry, strawberry and apple topping and syrup for our waffles. From their personnel carrying the gazebo ceremony chairs up to the tented table serving area and sending some one on staff to fetch for ceremonial cake cutting which I had forgotten, what more could I have asked? I would use them again and I highly recommend them! read more

This food truck junkie picks Street Chefs as her all time favorite. I've tried almost everything on the menu - but usually go back to my favorite "Not your Mama's" Grilled Cheese sandwich. The lemonade was good. The vegetarian shepherd's pie wrap was bland. The hummus was bland. The mac and cheese was fair. The grilled cheese was good, and the burger was good. Overall not very impressive, though. read more
