They have partnered with Red Eye Cofee, a local coffee house, to offer a Breakfast Club. Each week they pick a different location to bring fresh cooked goodness and wonderful beverages to your door. Place your order by Wednesday and it will be delivered to your door on Friday. And if you are not in their neighborhood that they will be serving that week, have no fear: you can place an order to pick it up! We ordered the Hakuna Frittata filled with meat, some cinnamon rolls filled with bacon, and a jug of cold brew. It showed up right on time and they have amazing customer service: you can track them online via the link in email, and they will text/call you when they have delivered! Perfect! Everything is pre-cooked and just needs to be heated (20 min for frittata, 10 for cinnamon roll). And everything heated up perfectly...just like we were being served fresh from initial cooking. The frittata was amazing, and can easily serve 4. The cinnamon rolls can also serve 2 each (but you almost certainly want your own) and were warm and gooey. The coffee was the outstanding Red Eye cold brew. For a little over $30 we had breakfast delivered that will feed us for two mornings. I've seen the breakfast options and they always smell and look so good, hoping that I will try it next time I am on campus. This is also a great place to take meetings and get the opportunity to catch-up with folks/friends as well. When I asked for napkins, they said they were "out." Now I was one of the first few people to order that night, so I am certain what they meant was "we didn't bring any, and although we are right across the street from Publix, we can't be bothered to get any. You're on your own, sucker." They apparently haven't made any friends with the other foodtrucks, because you would think they may have been able to borrow some napkins from them. Then it turns out that they didn't have any ketchup, either. That kind of basic disregard for their customers guarantees that I won't be ordering from them again. I don't know if that was because they didn't want to take what Uber Eats was offering or if it was too close to their closing time. Both times that I successfully ordered, the food came quickly and was well packed. You will see that from the photos. The first order included ribs, rib strips, smoked sausage and a Jamaican beef patty. The second order was fried pork chops for both of us. The entrees were ok and the sides were impressive. The ribs/rib strips were oven cooked and pre-sauced and were pretty plain. The smoked sausage turned out to be a on a bun and was good but a little overcooked dry. The Jamaican beef patty was bland and looked like it might be those frozen ones you see in the grocery store. The fried pork chops were moist but pretty plain too. The wow was the sides. The baked beans have a unique and addictive taste. The corn on the cob is fried and was delicious. The mac 'n cheese was tasty. The only side that was disappointing were the greens. To be honest, as plain as the entrees were, I would order from them again just because of the sides. I'll just have to keep trying other entrees to see if I can find that wow item. P.S. They put slices of bread under those entrees. Good for soaking up any grease. Kept those fried pork chops from getting soggy on the bottom.
