Rest assured, ABR always sends a knowledgeable and friendly certified electrician. James, the owner of the company is also a very kind and professional electrician himself. Complete incompetence. I specifically looked for an…read moreelectrician in Dallas that could install a Temporary Power pole in Dallas. They said they can do it. Turns out they know nothing about the permit process or how to properly install the pole. The outlets were not attached the line wasn't installed high enough and more fails. On April 2nd we got a Red Tag that cost us $75 that they refuse to re-imburse for. The fail was their fault. We paid for this pole in 2 payments in February that to this day they dispute the 2nd payment. After several onsite visits they finally figured out how to install the pole correctly and we got a Green Tag on May 14th... 3 months later. Now they say that we owe them $1137.50 and when I spoke with the female at the office she called me a liar. If I don't get a paid in full invoice today, I will be contacting my attorney. I regret calling this company, it ended up costing way more than it should have. Pricing isn't…read morebased on actual work done, but on whatever is quoted over the phone, which they treat as locked in regardless of what's needed. I mentioned I thought 4-5 outlets needed repair, and was quoted $400. When the electrician came, the outlets were functional, my tenant just didn't know they were tied to light switches. He spent 25 minutes on-site and only did light wiring on two outlets, but still charged $350 because "that's what was quoted." No materials used, just labor. He did give a $50 discount, but $350 for 25 minutes is the most I've ever paid for basic electrical work. When I pushed back, he said "Google placement is expensive." If you use this company, insist on a basic service call first. Don't agree to pricing until someone actually sees the problem.
