I came to this place a few times and the ambiance is amazing, the food was great, very cute spot. Until this morning January 3rd, we arrived with the kids at 10:03 in the morning, the young girl working at the register was extremely rude to us, she had an attitude the entire time, made us feel super uncomfortable the entire time, making faces like laughing at us, my friend was not talking to her, she was reading a sign about fresh squeeze juice, my friend is from Colombia and is here in vacation, I brought her and her kids to have breakfast here, this girl being condocending and passive aggressive the entire time, when I asked what type of bread we could have, she rolled her eyes and said with a nasty attitude she could not hear both of us at the same time and stared at me like what's up? And I told her calmly, wow you have an attitude, she said I can't hear both at the same time and I said she is not speaking to you, she is reading the sign, so she said guess I don't have to service you, we had 2 young girls that were hungry and the entire order was ready to be paid my card was already inserted and she basically kicked us out, totally rude, totally unprofessional, that's what happens when businesses around here hire young entitled kids with their miserable attitude work in restaurants but hate their jobs and the clients. Do yourself a favor, don't go in the place if good service is what you expect, every time I came in before I over tip and treated everyone nice, gave compliments said I would be back, this morning this girl was mad at the world for some reason and I hope the owner sees this and if this girl is a family person which probably this is what is, they should know she mistreat people for absolutely no reason. I am not coming back and will tell everyone I know about how horrible we were treated, I even said to her, wow you going to do this to kids? We didn't do anything to you and you have this bad attitude the entire time, she looked down on the kids too, like she didn't give a S....!! Horrible, never coming back! Today, I ordered through Doordash but the app crashed which meant my order was done but wouldn't be able to be picked up or delivered by my dasher, and I was already waiting an hour. After calling and explaining the situation, the OWNER,ERICA, offered to deliver my order herself. I only work right around the corner from the cafe, but I am a pediatric homecare nurse and was unable to pick it up myself. I'm disappointed to say that I won't be coming back here. I've been many times in the past few years, and the service has gotten progressively worse. I'm still giving two stars because the food is good, but the service is now bad enough that the food doesn't make up for it. Staff used to be really nice and helpful, but today they were outright rude. I asked to speak to the supervisor (I know, Karen move, but it was warranted) who didn't even acknowledge me beyond answering yesterday, she was the supervisor and then going back to making sandwiches. I won't bore you with the details, but at one point she told me she didn't "have time for this." Maybe they need a dedicated manager on shift to make sure things go smoothly. It seems like there's a lot of turnover and it makes me think that staff is likely underpaid and insufficiently trained. I'm sorry for them if that's the case, but that doesn't excuse rudeness and unwillingness to fix mistakes. read more

What a jewel, didn't even know this place was here. Had to take kitty to the vet and asked Siri where the closest coffee was. Siri said 200 feet what? Looked from the other side of the vets parking lot and there it was! Had a dark roast coffee and the croissant with egg, spinach and ham and cheese...really yummy. We initially reached out to them to cater breakfast for our campground wedding weekend, and we would order from them again without hesitation! Jennifer & her team were a pleasure to work with. Prior to the weekend, communication was smooth and we were able to quickly come up with a plan for two easy grab-and-go breakfast options. The weekend-of, they arrived on time with an incredible display of coffee, fresh fruit platters, and amazing sandwiches/wraps. We had many family and friends come up to us throughout the weekend raving about how great the food was and how nice of a set-up they provided for both meals. I'd have accepted (but balked, still) paying that much for a grand total of 2.5 slices of tomato if the tomato was some gorgeous and flavorful heirloom, but this was an extremely run of the mill firm sandwich tomato with very little taste. I would say length wise 6-7 inches, width a good 4 inches plus, and around 1 1/2 inch thick. Bread 5 ***** Baguette(?) style panini pressed; crunchy crispy outside, soft interior, fresh, not overly chewey. Just yummy! Strami 5 ***** Nice, very lean thin cut. Just the right amount and lip smackin' deelish. Fixins 5 ***** Not a lot to overwhelm the star of the sammi but the right amount which compliments the entire strami sammi. Thin amount of a Ella spread mayo dressing, a few roasted red peppers, basil leaves and thin slices of this holy-moly I want more swiss cheese. $10 bucks is on the hi side but good quality beats lesser ingredient quantity. Will be going back to try other sammis. Will try the airport location too. read more

Was so excited to try this place out, decided to order on DoorDash. Everything else I got was wonderful except the sandwich. I ordered the Ham n Apple, being a huge fan of Brie and apple on a warm panini. However the amount of grain mustard was insane!! Both sides of the sandwich were slathered thickly with it to the point I could hardly taste anything else. Scraping off what I could didn't seem to help either, the flavor just clung to it. The parts of the sandwich on their own were delicious, but covered in that mustard I could barely stomach half of it. Be sure to order without or with light mustard if you decide to try it. I've been coming to teacher union meetings at this shopping center for years when Ella's was already closed (in the late afternoons). So I was excited to finally be in the area when it was open. This place still has the worst customer service. I was hoping that when the new owners took over from Cafe Ella's that they would hire more pleasant people but no. Today when we came in for lunch we weren't greeted or even asked how we were when we were ready to order. The younger mexican girl looked like she did not want to be there or even have a smile on her face. Once we ordered and waited for our food the older lady who was the one that cooked the food dropped it off to our table and got us straws and napkins which was nice but it was crikets from there. Nobody came to check on us or ask if we would like refills even though or drinks were empty. They weren't busy so there's no excuse for that. So I had to walk up to the counter and ask the same younger girl for a REFIl and said can I also get a to go cup just incase because I didn't want to waste the tea. I sat back down and the girl says ok it will be $3.25 and I said excuse me?! Perplexed because I asked for a refill and I said I just had a tea and wanted a refill. She says "We don't give refills for ice tea". So I said ok I don't need it. Granted I've been comming here since the old owners and also recently and the guy and other girls always gave refills on the tea. She had a attitude too which is not ok. As we were walking out what seemed like the manager or owner was walking in and told us to have a nice day. I was really confused by what the young girl told me and wanted to know for the future if they didn't give refills because I love the ice tea and drink it pretty fast. The girl must have just being telling the owner why a to go ice was sitting in the counter but failed to tell her the truth that she told me they don't give refills because the owner already knew what she thought was the whole story and when I was asking the owner she said she must have been confused with the to go cup..... honestly if this place can't hire people that are nice and helpful they will lose alot of business. It makes me not want to eat inside or even come here anymore.
