I am constantly driving by this place and I have been wanting to try it. I finally had the courage to stop and go inside on a Saturday morning lol. As soon as I walked in, I received a "hello!" "welcome!" and a happy, cheerful smile. Immediately, I felt so welcomed. As I was waiting for my food and my coffee, I heard them say hello to every single person that walked in. I was able to talk to the cashier and get some recommendations and ask her a bunch of questions. I decided to try the lavender vanilla latte, which is a seasonal drink. Wow! I am completely obsessed with the lavender vanilla latte. It was smooth, creamy, delicious, vibrant! I got a sandwich, and it was good, but not the best, so I may have to try a different food item. While I waited, I took a look around. They have gorgeous plants hanging, the decor, the atmosphere, everything about this place is just magnificent. People were sitting down, drinking and talking. One minor setback is the lack of bathrooms. Everyone was cheerful and joyous. Who cares about the sandwich, the coffee was incredibly amazing! I cannot stop thinking about the coffee, and the barista was welcoming every single person that walked in. I cannot stop raving about their coffee. Strawberry Patch Cafe had changed ownership by a couple about a year ago. This is a cozy little cafe with cute retro decor and comfy seating indoors and outdoors. It is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. The service is friendly, the food quantity is impressive, and the coffee drinks are delicious -- though you may have to wait a bit because there is usually only one person working the espresso bar and there is often a line of customers (a good "problem")! First time trying this cafe out. Ordered two medium matcha lattes with sugar free vanilla syrup and soft top. Drinks were good a little on the sweet side. Service was good, place is nice and spacious if you prefer to eat inside. Prices are a little on the higher side, only thing we didn't get charged on was the ice! Paid almost $20 bucks for the two medium drinks. I know small businesses have rent to pay but seems like getting charged extra to use a debit card is extreme. Had a delightful breakfast two days in a row. Had not visited since it was Ella's and pleased to see how popular it's become. Love the relaxed and comfy ambience and design. The Moss Landing Wrap was delicious in red tortilla with good amount of filling. Saved 1/2 for later. I like my coffee dark and full bodied and their Dark Roast fit the bill. Next day I chose the breakfast Panini with sausage and next time will try the spinach / basil option. The crisp and thin bread was perfectly enveloping for the egg mixture. I have ordered from here twice in the past, the first time was a couple of months ago (April or june) and now today. I ordered off of DoorDash today, the coffee is really bad. Typically I would just doctor it up to make it good but it tastes like the most watered down coffee I've ever had and DoorDash won't give me anything back. I am sure they have other things that are wonderful and maybe I'll try those on another occasion but I will not order this again. 3 stars for now, I'll be back to try some food next time. read more

I love everything about this cafe. I order something different every time I come, and everything I've had had been amazing! Today I got the jasmine loose leaf tea and it was perfect, and came in an adorable strawberry themed mug! I've also had the Mex Mocha, the Patch burrito, the bagels, the orange juice, and various flavors of oatmilk lattes. Everything is yummy and always served in a cute glass (clearly that part is very important to me) Not only are the food and drinks very good, but the place itself is cute and cozy and it's NOT minimalistic like all of the new cafes trying to copy boring LA hipster culture. Went 3 times to get my favorite : hot spiced chai. it's not chai that I can tell. more like a foamy camomile tea. we got a cinnamon roll and strawberry scone. there were quite hard, like there were 2-3 days old. we didn't eat them, but took them home to heat and put moisture back in. my wife's late was like foamy water that tasted a little like coffee. Summary: we've been coming here for 13 years, but will stop coming after today. perhaps in a year or so, we'll try again. First the prices are going up crazy... 2 full sandwiches and 1 half sandwich and salad for over 50 dollars! I love my jamonella sandwich so I thought it would be worth it until I opened my sandwich. For the price you think they'd add more than one sad slice of ham. Not only that but the sandwich is supposed to have arugula not mixed greens. It's been awhile since I last passed through and stopped in the town I grew up in. So glad we had some free time. The perfect Sunday lunch spot for my wife and I. On the end of a small strip mall is this fantastic sandwich shop/coffee house/dessert case/ wine bar with a happy hour and they squeeze in some breakfast burritos. I'm thinking beer garden in the outside space in the back...what? To much...yeah maybe. My cappuccino was delicious followed up with ham and apple sandwich with melted cheese and stone ground mustard. All my taste buds were in peaceful harmony, everything just kinda worked together. My wife's turkey sandwich was just as nice as was her iced lavender latte. We ended our lunch with a shared slice of lemon mascarpone cake. We scraped the plate. Ordered a sandwich platter for my daughter's school volleyball team for a nearby tournament, and got a mix of Pavo Mia, Italian, Pastrami, Ham & Apple and Greener Me (sans cheese). The Pavo Mia was definitely the crowd favorite, but all of the sandwiches were freshly prepared and tasty. The one minor critique would be for the Ham & Apple sandwich, which has ham, apple, brie and dijon mustard, and the dijon overpowered the mild flavors of the remaining ingredients. If I were to order again, I'd request maybe just mayo or regular mustard. Another bonus - Jenny was very responsive to my emails, and it was nice to be able to support a small local business. I came to this place a few times and the ambiance is amazing, the food was great, very cute spot. Until this morning January 3rd, we arrived with the kids at 10:03 in the morning, the young girl working at the register was extremely rude to us, she had an attitude the entire time, made us feel super uncomfortable the entire time, making faces like laughing at us, my friend was not talking to her, she was reading a sign about fresh squeeze juice, my friend is from Colombia and is here in vacation, I brought her and her kids to have breakfast here, this girl being condocending and passive aggressive the entire time, when I asked what type of bread we could have, she rolled her eyes and said with a nasty attitude she could not hear both of us at the same time and stared at me like what's up? And I told her calmly, wow you have an attitude, she said I can't hear both at the same time and I said she is not speaking to you, she is reading the sign, so she said guess I don't have to service you, we had 2 young girls that were hungry and the entire order was ready to be paid my card was already inserted and she basically kicked us out, totally rude, totally unprofessional, that's what happens when businesses around here hire young entitled kids with their miserable attitude work in restaurants but hate their jobs and the clients. Do yourself a favor, don't go in the place if good service is what you expect, every time I came in before I over tip and treated everyone nice, gave compliments said I would be back, this morning this girl was mad at the world for some reason and I hope the owner sees this and if this girl is a family person which probably this is what is, they should know she mistreat people for absolutely no reason.
