The Time Capsule happened to be in the area we were so we stopped in. Spacious. Clean. Array of different types of items. Great prices! (Check out that $1 bin of records!) When I went staff was not as friendly or welcoming, but it's OK. I've been there before and other days the staff is friendly. For the most part things are priced at retail. There are a few items that are marked up, but I think it's because they are collectibles. Stop by and see if there's anything that you find that you might like either for yourself or as a gift or a loved one.

I also picked up a few other items and found something else for another person that I'll look into another time. So all in all, it was a successful shopping experience. Really appreciate the help! They have so many Pops! An entire back corner is loaded with them! Lots of cards (Pokémon and other games), soft toys, console games, board games, masks, action figures, anime. All sales are FINAL here, so be sure you want it! I definitely did not 'shop around' for the best price, so I have no idea if the items I purchased were less expensive else where, but the customer service was not at all pushy and actually very helpful. The store is definitely for things that are a bit out of the norm, so not for everyone. Thankfully it worked out for me.

I'm past the point in my life where they have anything that really interests me, but for when my grand niece and nephew get older I'm sure I'd be stopping here for something. For instance, if I didn't happen to look up, I would not have seen several golf clubs and golf bags on a long, high shelf along the right wall. They also have impressive displays of some scary-looking knives (as well as non-scary knives) behind glass cases. Furniture included hutches, dressers, tables and chairs, and seemed reasonably priced. DVDs are on shelves in a back room. An older gentleman (who I presume was the co-owner) did greet me as I walked past him. Overall, the store appeared well-organized (unlike some independently-owned thrift stores, where you have to dodge piles of random merchandise). Although I didn't see anything I needed and left the store without making a purchase (I'm rarely an impulse buyer), I gave them four stars because it's an interesting small business that adds more life to Artic (a/k/a downtown West Warwick).

It's one of those places you have to check often to see what new items they may have in. I purchased a pair of earrings and a necklace for $1 a piece, which I am thrilled about. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. My only wish was that they carried more handbags and wallets. They only had a couple in the window for display, and my favorite thing to thrift shop for is handbags. Overall, very cool place to add to Artic. I hope the store does well in this new location.

I can't STAND the parking garage at Providence Place! It's a Twilight Zone thing for me, with the red and green lights showing where to park. Then there are the road warriors who race through the garage like they're getting free cheese cake at the Factory. For me, the Warwick Mall is parking friendly, one level, has great stores, and I don't need to mess with a garage that in my opinion, is scary.

This store is laid out pretty clearly. A big section of magazines. New and discounted books by the door. Customer service and a cafe on the right side near the magazines. Check-out is to the left as you enter. The childrens section is pretty big and had a lot of customers young and not as young reading in there. Books for all (childrens) ages from picture books to chapter books and graphic novels. I had a new author in mind and they had his books in stock. That was a pleasant surprise. On the way to check-out I saw an adorable Halloween book I thought a 9 month old I know might enjoy and added that to my pile. Parking is in a large, shared lot. Staff I encountered were helpful and very nice. Store is neat and has a large inventory.

I will always love a bookstore and barnes and noble does a good job of making it feel cozy and inviting in there. They always have a great selection and I enjoy checking out their curated tables.
