The Time Capsule happened to be in the area we were so we stopped in. Spacious. Clean. Array of different types of items. Great prices! (Check out that $1 bin of records!) Now they have morphed into a little something more, selling funcos and t-shirts, and some snacks. When I went to the store only had a couple of people in it, and the selection of items was limited. The clerk was nice, but there wasn't anything I was interested it, other than browsing, and nothing really caught my eye.

I went here with a $26 gift card. One of the store associates that was my cashier ended up charging…read moreit as a credit card which apparently means the system just loses the funds and it's impossible to reverse the transaction. The other associate on the floor tried to help by talking with the gift card company but they didn't reverse the transaction at all. In the end the manager came back from his break, gave me a spiel that we would make the transaction with my credit card and he would process a return for the amount and apply the balance to a gift card; this sounded like a clever workaround at the time but after a few days I never got the refund. He even gave me a "10% discount" for the trouble but jokes on me, it was just a scam and they got me to pay twice for the same objects! To make matters worse, he didnt even give me the return receipt, and he took the original gift card so now I definitely can't dispute it. So essentially, they kept my $26 from my gift card, and kept the $26 from my credit card as well. I don't blame the original associates because this is a payment system error and the second associate who assisted me also tried his best and even offered to help pay for the objects with his own money but the manager just gave me the runaround and made it sound pretty just to make sure I wouldn't complain and ensured that I wouldn't be able to call later to dispute. No wonder the store is in such disarray. Never going here again. 0 stars if I could.

I feared that one day this store would get absorbed into the Warwick Mall and follow suit. Their recent renovation proves they will be staying in their current location. Their selection of records is still better than other stores in the area, and their staff is awesome. I recommend this location.

Toy Vault is a nice nostalgia trip. Funko Pops, baseball cards, action figures it's a nice trip…read moreback to childhood/early teens and even offers things for today's youth. I'm past the point in my life where they have anything that really interests me, but for when my grand niece and nephew get older I'm sure I'd be stopping here for something. The prices while on the higher side, are not absurd, and there's a nice variety. Even if you're not buying anything, its a nice to visit and browse and bring back some memories from yesteryear.

It's like several stores under one roof ... in addition to gifts and novelties, they sell used…read morefurniture; new clothing and toys; 'bric-a-brac'; smoking and vaping stuff; used DVDs; and probably lots of other stuff that I missed during my brief walk-through. For instance, if I didn't happen to look up, I would not have seen several golf clubs and golf bags on a long, high shelf along the right wall. They also have impressive displays of some scary-looking knives (as well as non-scary knives) behind glass cases. Furniture included hutches, dressers, tables and chairs, and seemed reasonably priced. DVDs are on shelves in a back room. An older gentleman (who I presume was the co-owner) did greet me as I walked past him. Overall, the store appeared well-organized (unlike some independently-owned thrift stores, where you have to dodge piles of random merchandise). Although I didn't see anything I needed and left the store without making a purchase (I'm rarely an impulse buyer), I gave them four stars because it's an interesting small business that adds more life to Artic (a/k/a downtown West Warwick).

They also offer jewelry, knives, pipes, tshirts, and the back section of the store has a huge selection of DVDs. It's one of those places you have to check often to see what new items they may have in. I purchased a pair of earrings and a necklace for $1 a piece, which I am thrilled about. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. My only wish was that they carried more handbags and wallets. They only had a couple in the window for display, and my favorite thing to thrift shop for is handbags. Overall, very cool place to add to Artic. I hope the store does well in this new location.

I love the Warwick Mall. One of my caveats is parking! I love the fact that there's tons of open…read moreparking here! I could go to Providence Place Mall... for more stores.. But here's the Thing. I can't STAND the parking garage at Providence Place! It's a Twilight Zone thing for me, with the red and green lights showing where to park. Then there are the road warriors who race through the garage like they're getting free cheese cake at the Factory. For me, the Warwick Mall is parking friendly, one level, has great stores, and I don't need to mess with a garage that in my opinion, is scary.
