Even a few days later, when I thought of more things to ask, he was quick to respond and made sure I got the info I needed. I asked a lot of off the wall things, but he was patient and made sure I understood the explanation of different types of patios and materials. Before starting the project, he walked me through the plan and introduced me to my project manager, Luis. Luis was great, he kept me updated the whole way, even during the first week when I was out of town. I had no worries and I was able to enjoy my vacation while full on construction was going on at my home. Every crew that came out, roofing, painting, cement, told me what they were there to do and asked if I had any questions before getting started. I also have to mention Blanca in the office, every time I called, she was so friendly and easy to talk to, it was like I'd known her for years. The end result? My patio is beautiful! I was torn between putting money down on a larger home and moving, or building a patio to add square footage for gatherings. I am so happy I went with a new patio instead of the debt of a new home. I had to personally put getting any remodeling and home additions on hold while I cared for my dad for over a year. We talked about my patio dream before he passed in March. He kept telling me -"get that patio done". I'll think of him every time I'm enjoying my new space.

The job started and ended on schedule and within the budget that we had agreed to with no surprises (we had some minor additions). We had some feedback on somethings we wanted done slightly differently and he was receptive and helped incorporate it (like sanding the posts, changing out few lattice). We had received quotes from many contractors but we are glad we went ahead with Greatheights outdoor living The only thing that was a slight disappointment was the spacing on the lattice. we had requested for 4" but it turned out 6". it still looks great so we are happy with it. We would definitely recommend. His price for the quality and professionalism was worth it. The pictures speak for themselves.

Unfortunately, there is no option for a zero star! I had two projects done by Cypress Patios or…read moreCPABD LLC. Both projects resulted in issues resulting in me getting a home inspector. This was an outdoor kitchen and also a balcony addition. Some items were addressed but others were not. I recommend you get a home inspector to inspect the work they perform to ensure everything is in compliance to code, meets expectations of a home inspector, doesn't devalue nor diminish the value of your home, and there are no issues when you try to sell your home in the future. For example, their framer performed some of the electrical work on the balcony and not licensed to do so. Other staff initially used on the outdoor kitchen was used who were not journeymen electrician either. I reached out to the owner of Cypress Patios or CPABD LLC on multiple occasions giving him the opportunity to correct the issues and he elected to not address them in writing. Remaining items not addressed is electrical wiring in the attic protruding above the studs and not stapled down. A loose banister railing on a balcony not secured down. And damage to our concrete patio from their selected pressure washer damaging our concrete patio. Our house was brand new and only 2 months old when Cypress Patios or CPABD LLC left these unresolved issues on our property. See photos below of the workmanship and unresolved items found by a state certified home inspector and photos. And keep in mind this is an acclaimed award winning company in 2023 and 2025. But this was left unresolved and was not corrected. I welcome the owner to respond herein on how and when they plan to resolve these issues. As of today, April 16, 2026, the owner communicated in writing he has no plans to resolve these issues.

We had blown out windows structural damage, collapsing ceilings, etc. Once we decided to hire Colony Builders they started the next week! We did a complete remodel, replacing the entire house with siding, all the windows, all the carpet with laminate including our staircase, our deck & fence in the back yard and tore down our two door garage to make one large automatic one. The crews that came out we're hardworking and communicated with us every step of the way. Our repairs began on April 16th and finished within 2 short months on June 2nd!!! A complete remodel and they worked diligently to get us back to our house as soon as possible. Long story short HIRE THEM! You'll be so happy with the end result.
