About 13 years ago they replace my entire fence after Hurricane Ike. They did a great job. We had some recent storms come through (bad wind) and damaged my fence. Once again they came out and replaced entire fence. The fence and gates look amazing and the installers did a great job. My back yard was already a mess and they happily worked around it. Great company!! read more

If there were a rating of a ZERO, they would win! Worst customer service ever! I have left 6 messages over the course of 8 days for Blake and even requested to speak to the owners. Everyone is always away and will call back which never happens. Thankfully I have found a more reliable company who will gladly repair the magna latch that Fence Master installed. read more

Blake at Fencemaster scheduled a time to take measurements of my fence to provide a quote. When he arrived he saw that my back fence had lots of foliage and vines covering it - and he drove away and I never heard from him again. I tried several times to get in touch with him after I never received a quote after several days. I get that my fence will be a pain to remove (see pic) so I was anticipating paying a premium to have it removed or him tell me we would have to have yard guys clean it up first... but would have appreciated being told that and not just ignored. Very unprofessional and would never recommend this company to anyone. Business must be really good for them to turn their noses up at my project! (For context - Blake had given me a rough estimate of $7k for my project so pretty good business...) read more

This company will NOT stand by their product/contract and will demand full payment before the job is complete. This company will also come onto private property, unannounced, and remove installed products when there is an ongoing dispute about quality of installation and items, from contract, never delivered. This company also lies about their actions. If I could post audio/video, I would. read more

Requested to speak with someone on a commercial fence project three separate occasions over several days . Each call I was told someone would get in touch with me. No one ever returned my call. The last call I requested to speak to the Sales Manager. Not sure who I was transferred to but it wasn't the Sales Manager. I am no longer reaching out to Fence Master. read more

Really happy with our new fence. They did an awesome job. Moved an old gate up, ran power neatly underground and through the fence. Custom welded decorative wrought iron to main gate. High quality fencing and custom welding. Very clean and fast. Estimate was dead on. Trouble shot the opener and used old opener to save money. Very responsive to all calls and questions. Listened to our design ideas. Pros. read more

Blake and his team did an awesome job!! The entire process was seamless. He made sure to not interrupt our daily schedules with initial assessments, measuring, and even the installation. The team even made us aware in advance of the days they would be working on our property. The gate is exactly what we asked for and Blake was very responsive when we had questions related to the operation of the gate after installation. I would recommend this company for sure!! read more

Blake and the team were very accommodating, timely and communicative. The installation job was great as well. Quality of the gate is top notch. I would highly recommend Fencemaster read more

Only after multiple requests did Fencemaster come out to give me an estimate. An estimate that I am still waiting for a month later. I reached out to the salesman for an update, and a week later still no reply. read more

Blake and his team did a great job for me in constructing a wooden fence across the back of my property. Reasonable and timely quote. They came when they said they would and completed the job on a timely basis. Great service and great execution. read more

Called for a rep to come out and give recommendations and pricing for a broken fence, to remove and replace 'not repair'. The lady on the phone first said 'let me see if I have a rep' and quickly moved to - ' well, you need to commit to a $1200 minimum, for the fence'. Wow - really? Nope, not even worth the call for a quote. Although there is a Very Good Chance my work will be $1200... but that's just not good business to ask for commitment before they even know what I need. read more

Great service all the way around. Start to finish these guys were on top of it. From coming out to get me an estimate to getting every detail down. I got 4 estimates and while they were not the cheapest their persistance and knowledge of the work made me feel the most at ease. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a wrought iron and wood fencing. They installed the automatic opener, one stop shop. Thank you Fencemaster read more

Awesome work! Wrought iron fence was beautiful. What a difference it made to the front of my house. Excellent work. I was very satisfied. The workers didn't stop till the job was finished. Everything was clean! I will definitely call back and recommend! read more

I recently had Fencemaster come fix our complex's iron gate, and could not be happier with their work. They were both timely and a pleasure to work with. Went ahead and had them do an additional fencing job for me, which once again was done fantastically. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. read more

Very good, very happy. They have put in an fence before, but this time was for my gate. I could keep my original gate, they could make it work. The two cedar post were worn out, and they had replaced the posts, so I could keep my gate, and I was very happy with that. High quality, that they let me keep my gate, rather than tearing it down, and placing another gate. Not responsive. I had to call them. It took two weeks. I know that this was not their fault, that the rain kept them, when they work outside, but they should have called me, instead of me having to call. The lady who did the estimate was nice. Happy with the great job. One of the workers only spoke Spanish, and I do not speak Spanish very well. read more

Had a terribly difficult time getting a quote on a simple repair project after reading online that no job was too small. Required several phone calls and ultimately was told the minimum charge was $650. Could have been told this upfront and saved alot of time. read more

I am currently working on a fence project worth about $20,000. I was referred to this company by my neighbor, whom I trust very much. After calling for more than a week with no return call, I've finally decided to seek another provider. I've been in sales my entire career, an I've ALWAYS maintained a 24hour rule as it pertains to returning a call. In my experience, a lack of focus this early in the relationship is indicative of the work to follow. During my last call I requested the owner to contact me. I doubt he will follow through as employees usually perform to the level of their leadership. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED read more

Just had my wood fence completed by Fencemaster. From my initial call to the completion of my job I was very satisfied with their work and professionalism. Staff at the office was very helpful and the crew that came to my house was very tidy and organized. Thank you Fencemaster! I have already told my neighbors to give you a call! read more

Had my driveway gate and fence installed in April of 2014. I had issues with the support post leaning and the gate dragging, they fixed it under the warranty and it started to lean again. I called back and had some issues getting someone to contact me and fix it because the second time it was "out of warranty" but they agreed because it was less than a year after the problem was fixed before. They came out and reset the post and it looks good so far. I actually just received a phone call and they said they would extend my warranty another 6 months to stand by their work. There were some issues but overall I am glad they wanted to make it right. read more

We got referred to Fencemaster through a community neighbor, we have the same type of house and liked their gates. So, I reached out to Blake at Fencemaster, he came over to assess the location and understand the needs (new driveway gate and walkway gate, new gate at the back where the fence is). Shortly I got a quote via email, which I found reasonable, and decided to go ahead. I didn't really check other vendors as the neighbor who referred Fencemaster was quite satisfied with their work and I really liked what they did for him. We agreed on the target completion dates for the project with Blake. There was some delay with the installation as it couldn't be done in one go (required multiple crews to complete certain steps of the process), however after some follow-ups with the vendor everything got scheduled alright, and the work was completed today. All crews who were involved were very polite and knowledgeable, I believe they did great. I am happy with my choice and would definitely recommend Fencemaster to do business with. read more

Fencemasters installed our fence and automatic gate in Oct 2014. In Oct 2015 we began experiencing problems with the Liftmaster dual gate opener. Fencemasters made 3 trips to our home in an effort to resolve the problem. Unable to find the reason for the malfunction, Fencemaster installed a completely new Liftmaster system. The quality of the installation exceeded the first installation. Very impressed with this company. read more

The work was beautiful at first. They replaced a gate and one side of a fence. However, like another reviewer I had problems with the gate becoming misaligned. After calling multiple times and leaving messages, but never receiving a call back I have given up on ever getting this repaired by Fencemaster. Very disappointed. read more

Wow! Fencemaster Houston definitely impressed me. They were punctual and very professional. Finished my fence right on time and it looks beautiful! Would definitely recommend their services to everyone I know! Best fence company in Houston by far! read more

3 large sections of my fence are down from the strong winds as well as 2 other long sections that are about to fall over. I called and left a message I get a call tonight about 7:00 telling me that my job is too small and that they have a $2500.00 minimum. While I appreciate your not wasting my time (which is why I gave you 2 stars instead of one ) you haven't even seen my fence or even took the time to ask what it was I wanted done to replace/ repair ect. So I can not speak to the quality of their work only that they make erroneous assumptions and wont even come to bid your job unless it sounds like it's going to be $2500 before they will even come look and discuss things with you. We will probably decide to replace the entire fence or at least sections of it as there are several areas with issues....so will probably be a bigger job than they were anticipating. update 01/24/17 i just got my first bid and it was $4500 to $6500 depending on whether we do the repairs or replace the entire fence. I'll keep you posted on what the rest of them are in case this was an exceptionally high bid. read more
