They installed laminate flooring on the spec home I purchased . They were supposed to fix some warranty issues. Two weeks in a row Kimberly called to cancel their appointment 15 minutes after they were due to arrive. When they finally did manage to keep their appointment , the man took pictures of the problems. It's been a month and I have never heard back from them. They did nothing. No service after the sale. I don't know where to begin. Let's start with Julie. She is a true joy to work with. High energy and positive and passionate about her work. Julie spent time with us to make sure we knew what we wanted. She explained the benefits of different floors and gave great ideas. Walked us through the process and answered all of our questions. She is just awesome!! Next came the install. Matt showed up on time, was extremely courteous and professional at all times. Very friendly too. He was so careful with our home. Made all his cuts outside and blew the sawdust off the flooring pieces and himself every time. This is time consuming but it shows that he is respectful of our home. This company pays no attention to detail nor do they provide quality service. Our wood floors had to be replaced in spots due to bad installation (and water damage which wasn't their fault, see builder Partner in Building for that bad review). They couldn't match the stain so we just had them restain the entire downstairs so it all would match. We were out of town for the week and had to move all furniture off of the floors. They were not supposed to sand. But they did, without putting drop clothing ANYTHING. Stain is on walls and doors. Our navy blue island has something white all over the bottom. So we come home to a house with wood dust on ever single surface. Even in my pantry because they couldn't bother to shut the door. Now walls need to be repainted. My island needs to be repainted and my stairwell needs to be repainted. This is the most half ass job I've ever seen. ZERO STARS read more

I requested a consultation from Costco and just have to say I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the rep that visited our home. I had expectations set by Costco's website that when the rep, Amanda, came to my house, they would present options to me and talk through ideas and HELP me. I am a first time homeowner with no previous experience with floors. When we let Amanda know we wanted to understand the cost and what to start saving for she laughed at us and said, "I can't give you a quote if you don't tell me what you want!!" but she NEVER showed us any options. She rambled on and on about how costs were just going to keep going up because of this reason and that reason. I could tell she didn't want to be there, she even complained that she had too many appointments that day. She left telling us that she would quote us the most basic options to give us a ballpark...but we don't want a basic bottomline option! She never showed us ANY options! All this to say, we had a horrible experience with her and I am so sad that I left work early for that. read more

I was concerned about doing business with Strathmore after reading several very bad reviews and nearly canceled my order. I worked with Julie Jordon at Costco. I told her my concern but she assured me that she would see that my carpet was installed without any problems. On the day of installation, the men arrived on time and worked very professionally to get my carpet installed. Their supervisor came by to check on the job and to make sure there were no problems. I went to Strathmore today to look at flooring products. Due to a leak in my kitchen, I need to replace my kitchen floor. I went there first because they replaced every floor in my home after the 2010 flood and did a great job. I was asked if I needed help and I said I needed to look at kitchen flooring. I was told I would have to come back at a later time when a flooring specialist was there or preferably, make an appointment for a weekday. Seriously? There isn't anyone that can show me your kitchen flooring products on a Saturday at 11 am? Sorry, I am busy earning money to pay for it weekdays. Shouldn't you have a flooring specialist in a FLOOR store anytime it is open? Why was everyone else in there looking at flooring? Lost a cash sale to someone else and lost my business forever. The folks at Strathmore don't know what they're doing. Or if they do, they don't care to do it right. They installed hardwood floor, carpet, tile, and vinyl flooring at my house and every other home in our neighborhood here in Nolensville. Every person I know in our community had to get them back out countless times to repair their original work. And then again to repair the repairs, and again to fix that new messy work. Every time they visit it's a struggle to get something done correctly and they always have an excuse for why it can't be done better. I would not recommend them anyone, please look elsewhere for your flooring needs. Or do it yourself...You could watch some YouTube videos and do more professional work than the folks at Strathmore. My floors are still bad and they've visited over 6 times in 1.5 years. If they would ever return and get my floors done right then I would consider changing this review. Until then, 1 Star. read more
