Full Breakfast
Jacob H.

Great for a quick in and out, for diner/cafe style food, if you're at The Strat. Although, like a diner/cafe, you can certainly take your time if you so choose. We had breakfast, and the service from start to finish, was excellent. I had the Full House Breakfast, which included eggs, toast/bread, bacon, and potatoes. It ran around $20, which is reasonable, given the tourist location. Seating includes tables of booths, and the atmosphere is casual and laid back.

MEDITERRANEAN WRAP

Strat cafe's breakfast menu items are delicious with generous portions. We tried Mediterranean wraps, Pancakes, French toast with strawberries and everything was delicious specially their fries. Our Server Lauren was very accommodating and welcoming and catered to all our needs. Ambiance is super nice and modern.

No I didn't eat part of the omelette. Served like this.

The Strat Café, located right inside the hotel, gave me some serious Johnny Rockets vibes--retro diner aesthetic with a casual, laid-back energy. I stopped by for breakfast during my stay, mainly because it's another affordable option conveniently within the property. I ordered the Denver omelette, which came with all the standard fixings--nothing fancy, nothing missing. If you've seen the picture, no, I didn't sneak a bite before the photo. It just came out that way. Flavor-wise, the dish was fine. Nothing stood out in particular, but it got the job done if you're just looking to fuel up for the day. Like other Strat-owned restaurants, I used my $25 food and drink credit here. Just remember the rules: * Must be a Strat-owned restaurant * You have to bill it to your room * The discount is automatically applied at checkout * Any amount over the credit is paid when you check out, not from your deposit Bottom line: The Strat Café is a decent go-to for a no-frills breakfast inside the hotel. It's budget-friendly, familiar, and convenient. Just don't expect to be wowed--this place is more about function than flair.

Diced potatoes, 3 eggs over hard, bacon, sausage and wheat toast.

At the Strat Café early morning. Ordered the Full House Breakfast plate and an order of Seasonal Fruit. The eggs were cooked to order, a rare feat these days. Rounded out with wheat toast, diced potatoes, bacon and a sausage The seasoned fruits were sliced and placed in an interesting pattern with yogurt. Both were filling and tasty. Super sparkling clean diner with excellent service by Adam. TVs showing local and national news, and open air out to the gaming area casino feel.

Martha - you're the sweetest, kindest & realist waitress ever! Just had to start my review off w a shoutout cause she truly was spectacular! The place is super cool! Quick, clean and yummy! It's so much food, well priced (for being a on the strip kind of deal) and so good! We were seated quickly, everyone was friendly and with a smile on their faces! We came around 10:30pm I wanna say and it was truly a 10 outta 10 experience! Highly recommend! Thanks for everything!

Chicken fried steak, BRAISED POT ROAST, and PEACH COBBLER OATMEAL

The service was horrible once we entered the cafe. We were not greeted, but instead was welcomed by a "we'll be right with you." Once we were seated, the bus person wearing a red shirt, who was of Latinx descent was the only one who said hello and ask how I was doing. She was very gracious in offering us our drinks while we waited for a waiter. Our waiter (an older white male) approached our table, but didn't say hello, but instead looked at me and said "what can I get for you?" We did observe that the waiter had preference to checking in on other tables that came after us with more a welcoming manner versus how he treated us. Ordered my food which was quite a disappointment considering how expensive it was. The waiter never checked in on us the whole time we were there. The only time he stopped by was to give us our check. The food was cold like the service. The only thing we appreciated was the hot coffee and the welcoming of the bus person who led us to our table. Definitely do not recommend this place. Convenient location, but inconvenient service and food prices. You're better off at the $5 cafe or IHOP.

THE STRAT BENNY

One of the best cafes between The Vegas Strip and Fremont Street. The service is amazing and the food is always on point and they have great tasting coffee. The cafe might be small but the ambience is welcoming and comfortable. Overall it is a well rounded place for breakfast with plenty of tasty options.

STRAIGHT UP CHEESEBURGER

A nice, clean and appealing diner like eatery in the center of The Strat, I wish I could say I was impressed. The Strat Cafe is mediocre at best. The chicken tenders were simple, boring, did the job but forgettable. The burger was appealing in presentation but I wish the burger was seasoned, some crack black pepper and garlic salt would of saved this review along with the fries that looked like they sat for awhile with little to remnants of salt. For the price of this lunch, I would have gone to Carls Jr. across the street.

Oreo shake

The Oreo shake was really good and enough for two people. I ordered the omelette which comes with three eggs, three cheese, and I added spinach.. not a fan of it was only on top and it seemed like plastic. The homestyle fries were mushy.

Food: 3.75. Came by as this was the only place to eat at The Strat on a Wednesday at 10:30 am. We were greeted and seated promptly when we arrived. We ordered their Country Fried Freak and Eggs, French Dip, and Golden Wings. Food came out timely and at the right temperature. There was little buffalo sauce so we asked for more. We wanted more gravy for the country fried steak and our server brought more. We liked everything. The best was probably the main entrees (country fried steak and french dip sandwich). Country Fried steak was crispy on the outside and the gravy was flavorful. French dip sandwich was meaty and flavorful. Fries were crispy but needed seasoning. Wings could have been more crispy. Service was very good. We were checked on often and all the staff were smiling. Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 3.75

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

A friend recommended we stop here for breakfast or lunch on our way to Zion, Utah. We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

Whomever curated this has incredible & varied music taste and it all works together! 90's R&B, Alternative, Grunge Rock, all of it so good! The menu has sections that you choose 2-4 items from and share with your table. We tried the Mushroom flatbread, the Pot Roast sandwich, the Beet Salad and the Grilled Oysters. The Grilled Oysters were not a favorite. However, I think that's just personal preference because of the style they are prepared in. We prefer our grilled oysters to be very charred and more of a buttery flavor. These are prepared in an Asian style and and more of a soft grill than a char. Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!

The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon.
